ViZion is trying trying to gadge interest from younger and older nations alike on NWP - an alliance-like organization based on the ideals of larger nations creating a safe haven for younger nations to grow.

Here's the information:
The older nations would be here for IC and OOC guidance - OOC things such as helping the younger nations (as well as eachother) learn to improve their RPing abilities, and IC things such as helping younger nations build up their economies, defense of their nations should they come under unwarrented attacks (ViZion deems things such as genocide and support of terrorism as warrented - but the finer details can be worked out later), as well as trading, guidance in the political landscape, and passing on good moral values and ways of running a nation efficienty. Also, the older nations would help represent the younger nations.

The younger nations, in turn, would continue to improve in OOC ways of RPing, and IC ways of running a country, growing old without becoming a subject of nuclear testing, and so forth.

I'd like to hear people and their interests. Please! All nations interested in being the "Protectors" (older nations - 2 billion population and larger) as well as being members of this alliance (younger nations - below 2 billion population - would be general members. Once they reach 2 billion, they can choose to become a Protector, or move out of this alliance...)

NOTE! This alliance would not be used offensively, but rather just as a safe haven. Should a nation warrent an attack by going offensive, committing genocide, and the likes, NWP Protectors would be requested to advise this nation to take steps to make peace, and cease their actions. If the younger nation refuses, they will be removed. Protectors would also be removed should they try to use the NWP to insteel poor moral values in younger nations, or use the NWP to their advantage in a war. The Protectors are required to help the younger nations, however are not required to help eachother.

Again, finer details of this alliance/organization can be worked on later. I'm just trying to see what kind of interest there is in the NWP and rather it would be worth the work and effort to create it down to the finest details or not.

We're sorry, we cannot make an exception. You may join as a member, as once you hit 2 billion people, you have the choice of either leaving or moving up to a Protector, should the alliance feel you would be a good nation for that.

While we appreciate your suggestion, at this time we cannot see it as a feasable option for the NWP. While being a normal members does not bar you from making suggestions and offer help and what not to regular members, the nations of 2 billion and above are the only eligable nations to be Protectors, and their job is what is stated above. Regular members are here to learn and grow. The older general membership nations are still encouraged to show leadership, and help those younger than them. But that is not their job.

Touche, you are correct. For some reason I thought that I was. (It was pretty late when I stumbled onto this thread, meh) Scrap that idea, I'll apply for general membership then.

Done and done. Do we have a forum yet?

OOC: To clear something up, this isn't an "uber alliance" like NWO, NATO, RWC, etc. It's simply a safe haven for nations under 2 billion pop to grow and prosper and learn, both ICly and OOCly learn that is. It'll help the future of NS by improving up-and-coming RPers, that's one of the primary objectives of this alliance, not to mention helping them grow and prosper in all different areas.

At 2 billion pop, you'll notice I've said that they will have the option of moving up to Protector (if we allow it) or leaving. Those are the only two options. There's no 3rd option of staying a member. At 2 billion, you're on your own basically. It keeps this alliances size in check as well as keeping things on track so it doesn't turn into NATO, RWC, NWO, etc.

Hell, if you notice, I try not to use the name "alliance" refering to this if you haven't noticed... I call it an organization, because "alliance" brings up images of RWC, NWO, NATO, and the likes... not what we are.

Basically what it means is that nations, because of an OOC status they have because of the time they've been in the game, will have an invlunerable IC shield against attack which will also (as you have stated in your first post) act to shield the shielders, and will also undertake offensive action based on the moral values of the founder nation. Meh.

OOC: Protectors are hand selected. Basically, nations we feel would not be good guidence for younger nations would not be accepted. Also, if a Protector does not assist the younger nations in the ways they are required, than they will be kicked. It's not purely size.

Basically what it means is that nations, because of an OOC status they have because of the time they've been in the game, will have an invlunerable IC shield against attack which will also (as you have stated in your first post) act to shield the shielders, and will also undertake offensive action based on the moral values of the founder nation. However, if the younger nation is in the wrong in a war, we will work on righting the wrong. If they continue to do wrong, they will be released. Also, as stated in the first post, Protectors are NOT required to, but requested to, help eachother out IF ATTACKED.

lol, no ranks or anything like that... that's to complicated for what we're trying to do here... This isn't a modern-day NWO or the like. This is simply an organization to safeguard nations, help teach them how to RP well, and guide them.

As for rules, basic info was already posted... but I'll outline the general members area...
General members are hear to learn, and help safeguard their nation and their people. If they're simply looking for an alliance to shoove in other nations faces and make aggressive threats, this isn't for you.
Under 2 billion population.
While they're not required to listen to the Protectors at most times, it's suggested they do.
When they are required to do as the Protector says, it's in cases where the nation is planning to launch an offensive and start a war, when they do morally wrong things (genocide, support terrorism, and the likes), or when they start throwing around the NWP name.
Should they not comply when they are required to obey the orders of the Protectors, they will be dismissed from membership.

It's really quite basic. We don't want to make it overly complicated.

Though we believe that the Democratic Republic of Halberdgardia is sufficiently large and strong enough to hold its own against most nations (barring the huge superpowers, of course), we still believe that the NWP is a venerable organization, and one that we could benefit from joining.
