Hundreds of troops marched through Kelgrad's capital as Col. Vasili Vayadosha was laid to rest today in the National Tomb. Vayadosha is most known for his brilliant command of the State tank divisions during the civil war in 1999. Col. Vayadosha, Vasha to his friends, was killed several weeks ago while visiting with his family. The culprits were partisans operating in the mountains west of the capital. 20 suspects were arrested, tried, and executed within days of the tragedy. A longtime friend of the Vayadosha, Chancellor Sundberg himself was onhand to praise the Colonel, as well as to award him the title Hero of the State. This is Kelgrad State News.
