No Beam weapons as of yet.)
IC: The Zanzibar Class mobilesuit carrier landed abrutly and without warning. It made a makeshift landing in the North American Continent, in the Pennsylvaina region. The landing gear had prevented an major damage to the craft, but without any replacement parts, the craft wasn't going anywhere. Onboard were three mobilesuits, three Zaku F's onboard. Each were colored in black and olive drab zeon color's, two had 120mm machineguns, and one had a 280mm bazooka, each had Heat Hawks, and the leader carried a light knuckle shield. They were all vetreans of the battle of loum, and each had a few black tally's on their shoulder shields.
"We came all this way, to land in a god damn wheat field!" Shouted a loud mouthed middleaged man, walking slowly out of the exit hatch. His name was Matt Derzt. He was 33, and was a Master Chief in the now fractered Zeon Army. "Why are you complaining, it atleast got us away from Gihren's jackboot's." Luaghed a young looking Officer fallowing closly. Ensign Charlie Rohen. He was 27, and had short cut blonde hair and blue eye's, the model Zeon soldier he was called. "Fresh air will do us good, now both of you be quiet." Said their commander, Lt. Commander Rudolph Heinklen, another middleaged man, with dark brown hair, and a battleworn face, he was tall and skinny. Each man wore their green zeon issue space suit. They were apart of the 4th Zeon Invasion fleet, before the great split of Zeon, their unit was the 22nd Mobile Suit Infantry.
Heinklen walked slowly around to the end of the craft. He could still feel the heat comming off the rear engines of the craft. He then looked around and noticed a long dirt trail. Heinklen threw his helmet to the ground and looked back at his squadmates. "In all honesty crew, it looks like Earth is going to be our home for awhile. This ship looks busted. And I doubt they sell Zanzibar parts at any supermarkets around here." He turned and put his left hand onto the craft. "Untill we can secure another base of operations, this will be where we base up. I'm sure we brought along enough supplies to hold us out..." He lowered his head for a moment. Rohen walked closer to Heinklen. "How long could we hold out here Commander?" He asked shifting his weight. Derzt cut in "For as long as we damn well please." He grabbed Rohan, and rapped his right arm, with his elbow well grasping the back of his neck, he gave him a noogie. "Meh, kid will be here a long time!" He laughed, and Rohan, escaped his hold. "Knock it off geezer!" He yelled. Derzt continued to laugh.
The Tech Chief, Lieutenant Negan Volki, walked onto the ramp, he pressed his palms against the rail. "Commander! We have something on the Communications line!" He turned and rushed back towards the bridge. Heinklen, Derzt, and Rohan, jogged to the bridge. Heinklen went to the communications station. "Found something have you?" He chuckled for the moment. The young woman turned and looked at him, and then back to the station. Ensign Madelin Ferlong. Age 19, and fresh out of boot. "I've picked up communication traffic from a Federal Forces base no more than 12 miles from here. Looks like a small airbase. The problem is, their is a large city inbetween us and the airbase. I'm not sure on any forces, or picked up any mention to us. What do we do Commander?" She turned and looked at him, Heinklen was stared at by the bridge crew and his squadmate's. "Unload the 4x4, and get into some civilian cloths, I suppose it would be wise if we went on a scouting mission, instead of rushing in, and getting our ass's kicked. We leave at nightfall." Derzt cut in, "Sounds like a plan." Rohan looked alittle worried. "Wouldn't they think three men in a 4x4 with Zeon markings look alittle wierd?" Derzt snickered. Heinklen looked at him, "Good point, we'll throw around some ideas, untill then, lets unpack and set up a perimater."
Nightfall was comming, already small sonor posts were set up within 3 miles away from the Zanzibar, which by now was being camoflauged however possible. The Zaku's were unloaded, and set up under camo-netting, each in a kneeling position. The 4x4 was brought out, it was an armored up Jeep, with a light machinegun on the back. Now it was painted red and had stick-on lisceans plate. Heinklen, Derzt, and Rohan, sat quietly by the Zaku's. Rohan's wrist-watch struck 10:00pm. A small beep, and Rohan looked at his squadmate's. "You know, it's 10:00pm right?" He ask quietly. Heinklen didn't speak, Derzt looked at Rohan. "Yeah..." Heinklen stood up and started walking to the Jeep. Rohan looked at Derzt, as he to started walking. Rohan picked himself up and started walking to, he jogged and caught up to Derzt. "Whats with the Commander." He asked Derzt. Derzt looked at him for a moment, whispered "He's seen alot of young one's get killed, that kinda stuff stays with a man forever." Rohan grew wide-eyed and stopped. He thought of his own death, what could happen. "Get your rear into high-gear kid! Lets go!" Shouted Derzt. "I'm comming!" Rohan ran and hopped into the backseat. Derzt was driving, and Heinklen was in the passenger seat. Tucked under the dash board was a light assault rifle, and each man carried a .45 or a 9mm. Madelin ran up the Heinklen. Heinklen looked at her worried face. "If anything were to happen to us, have the second group be ready to back us up. I trust they know how to work the F model Zaku II. Keep the channel open for us." She nodded, and then Derzt started the engine. It muffled for a moment, and started up. Derzt looked at Heinklen, "For some reason, I have a feeling this is going to be fun." Heinklen looked back "You think everything's fun." They drove off towards the city.
