As the Spartan approached the planet of Kosse, Consul Kellerman looked out the window of the bridge. He felt a sort of pity, knowing that this planet was the least defended in the Empire, mainly because the Chronosians would never allow border stations to be put up that would impede their movements in and out of the system, but still...

"My lord?" came a voice from behind the Consul, "We're coming up on Kosse now, sir. Just entering orbit around our half of the planet, sir." said the calm voice.

Turning to face the man, Kellerman smiled at his old friend, "Admiral Sallustius, how many times must I tell you not to address me as "sir"? We've been friends for 8 years!"

Keeping his stern face and perfect composure as usual, not showing the slightest bit of amusement or affection, Sallustius replied, "What's the point of protocol if it's not used, sir? Besides, I don't address you as "sir" when off duty." Getting back to the point, he spoke in his direct commanding voice, "Your shuttle is ready in hanger 1, my lord, and your bodyguard and I are ready to escort you down to the surface now."

Finding it amusing how Sallustius was so orderly and serious all the time, Kellerman took on another smile before replying, "Very well, Admiral. If only all my advisors were as concerned with my welfare as you."

Walking out of the bridge, Kellerman, followed closely by Sallustius, who in turn was followed by 6 honour guards, they headed down to the hanger.

(OOC: I'm thinking we each go to our respected sides of the planet for inspections and all that and realise that we are both there so we set up a meeting.)

Gabriel descended in his transport; scarred flesh carressed by gauntleted hand as he stared out of the window at the world that rose to meet them; their half anyway. THis world was split between Taledonia and the Imperium; a symbo lof peace and prosperity, to defy those in the Republic who condemed the Chronosians as mere monsters.

The shuttle found earth; the great shudder spiralling through the ship, as the ramp descended and he left.

"Status Report."

"My Lord; we have reports and itineraries prepared for you at Central Command"

"Excellent; I expect my quarters ready"

"Aye lord; May the Gods go with you."

"And may they pity you" He hissed, walking from the sycophantic guard; ready to deal with the task at hand. Such menial prattle bored him...

(OOC: Sorry, I was gone for a bit that's why it took me so long to reply.)

IC:

The Emperor walked on the metal ledge overlooking the manufacturing plant, flanked by the usual group of honour guards. He paid almost no attention to the man giving him all the technical details of the new mechs the Chronosians had supplied them with, but was instead wondering about the Chronosians. This planet they shared, and yet he knew a Chronosian had never before set foot on Taledonian soil or seen their customs, tho a Taledonian knew Chronosian customs.

But no Chronosian of importance would be on the planet at the moment, most likely, so a meeting couldn't be set up until another issue concerning the two nations came up.
