As light gathers in darkness..... (Huntarian Civil War Light Side Players, Closed)

Huntarian Alliance
27-07-2005, 23:33
The meeting begins as Councilor(master) Jorrus and Councilor (Master) Margriel stood beside him. Though there were more than 2 Malkir remaining, the actual number is 20. It didn't help though, for they were seriously outnumbered and outgunned. Outmatched everyway.

All it would take is coordination with the other generals aiding them inorder for peace and prosperity return to Huntaer and the Republic is restored once again....

(Other councilors who'll be arriving: Jaman, Kilgor, Malkith, and Shizor)

Sensei Junko Tadanobu arrived to help coordinate things. Indeed, she had heard of the plight of the Malkir; she now considered it a War of National Liberation; a situation her organization had been training for years to react to.

Now, she would have her chance. She walked into the area, and bowed, saying, "Greetings. I come to aid you, my Friends."

(OOC: I place this after our other little battle.)

IC:
Some three weeks after the Battle of Coredia...

I had to admit, it was a risky venture to come in as my real self, that of Daniel Masaki, Jedi Knight/Master (although I'm still not sure about being a Master. I certainly don't feel like one.). Grandfather believed that it was best because of two reasons: One, that Nightshade can be expected to support the other side and besides, she knows about my 'return' to the galactic scene, and two, because there should be no deception among allies.

After facing off against her and her Huntaeran allies, the Council have decided to initiate a counteroffensive upon the Galactic Empire of Huntaer, and upon hearing of the Alliance, we fairly jumped at a chance to end the Sith threat in the nation. So they sent me through the CWN.

I walked in after the other Jedi and bowed. "Hello, my friends. I, too have come to help you in your time of need."

A glorious day indeed. What better way to spread the message of the Greater Good, than to help a pact of magic wielding knights known as Jedi, who's sole purposes was to protect all things good, truth and honor, aswell as combat evil, which in this case seems to be somthing called the Sith.

Shas'o(General) Kass walked into the meeting place, oddly wearing his Firewarrior armor (http://uk.games-workshop.com/tau/getting-started/images/fire-warrior-boxart.jpg). He was not in a combat exercise, or was in no real danger, but he wanted to, "show off", show their worth in the cause, aswell as their technology. Of course he didn't have his helmet on, his noseless blue alien face, showing, with a 4 inch slit going down between his eyes.

The splintered Tau had heard of this conflict through subspace echoes and communications, and thought they would help their brethren within the Greater Good.

He walked in, and greeted all who were there. "Greetings, I am Shas'o'Kass."

"Greetings, Junko Tadanobu. I am Councilor Margriel. Our two nations have met before a long time ago durring the first attempt at attacking the Evil Huntarian Empire. Though I don't believe I have ever said who I really was."

Some three weeks after the Battle of Coredia...

I had to admit, it was a risky venture to come in as my real self, that of Daniel Masaki, Jedi Knight/Master (although I'm still not sure about being a Master. I certainly don't feel like one.). I walked in after the other Jedi and bowed. "Hello, my friends. I, too have come to help you in your time of need."

"We appreciate your help. I've heard of the reports that you fought one of the Dark Lords of Huntaer. We look forward to further friendship in such times. Perhapse if battle goes well for us, we could use your help in recreating the Galactic Republic of Huntaer. Perhapse for once in almost 4 melenia, we could see peace brought to the universe."

He walked in, and greeted all who were there. "Greetings, I am Shas'o'Kass."

"I'm Councilor Margriel, one of the last remaining 20 Malkir Councilors. I've recently been promoted by my master here, Jorrus.

I have something to say to you all. Since we're going to be allies in this war, there's no point for us to hide secrets from eachother. One of our secrets, is the best kept for nearly 80 years since my disapearence from the Galactic Empire of Huntaer space. Jorrus, could you get my brief case?"

His old master (and his current), brought up a brownish-blackish breif case.
It contained all of Margriel's personal belongings, even his oldest of secrets. His darkest of secrets. Margriel opened up the case, and pulled out what once remained of a Dark Lord's white/red mask: The Mask which once belonged to Darth Deshoonde. It was broken in half, and it's scary effect which haunted many of Darth Deshoonde's enemies was no more. He also pulled out Darth Deshoonde's old robes. They were torn, ripped appart. He also took out his old lightsaber, which glowed a dark blood red.

"Yes, I was what you're probably thinking I am: A Kirtir Dark Lord; a spy. There is no need to worry, for I've put all that past behind me. I'm looking into a bright future for the Republic of Huntaer. I know of their secrets: They created the Phantom phenomena, they destroyed the temple of technology. They caused the colapse of the republic. They caused the dark age of technology. All these years, they have caused the worst of Huntaer to come out.

Now, I contain these secrets which the Kirtir have kept for thousands of melenias. Now their dark reign has come to an end. Let us ride fourth, to a brave new future: To the Undiscovered Country, the undiscovered age, time, and space where it won't be the Kirtir who rule. Not the Dark Side, or tyrany. But the Light Side shall be the one to prosper in peace.

Let us now talk about the destruction of the dark side of Huntaer. Any tactical suggestions?"

I stated my thoughts. "We are of course outnumbered here, and possibly outgunned. However, we can use that to our advantage, if we play it right. Dark Lords hate each other almost as much as they hate us. If we can seed discord among them, we might be able to force them into multifront campaigns, ie attack one another as well as attack us. That way we can isolate them one by one and defeat them. The trick is to make sure they suspect each other, and not us."

Magriel shook his head. "I would agree to that strategy, however that doesn't work for the Kirtir. Seeing how I was once a Kirtir Dark Lord(and Lord as well) let me explaine to the best of my abilities:
The Kirtir and the Malkir are on a higher plain on the force than the Jedi, you, and the sith are. Yet they do live by the same standards as most Sith Lords, Huntarian Dark Lords (or lords) are bounded to a special code due to their higher plain of understanding of the force. It's similar thus to the Wookie Life Debt. Once the Kirtir Lords or Dark Lords get to know eachother, a strong sence of family and, ironicly, friendship forms between the dark leaders. They won't break away from that friendship, even if it means they will have to wait another life time to become a Dark Lord. The only one of the Dark Lords who may yet convert totaly to the ways of the sith would be Emperor Trilkan: for he is old and growing insaine.

There may be a way, however, to work around this strong sence of dark fellowship of the dark lords. I no more wish to kill them because we still are family. Yes, my sister is Lord Shelintiave and she doesn't know of my defection to the Light Side. Should she know, it's VERY likely that she'll follow suit, then would come Dominkive. I don't know about the new Lord Aunshi, the one who took place of Aelikes after he took my place, but I sence that he's too strong in the dark side to fall. Same for Aelikes and possibly Lord Vorman as well."

Wow, we're more similar than I thought. I also still have hopes to turn my sister back from the dark path... "So that's three Dark Lords, and I've fought one of them: Aelikes. If your sister and this Domnkive turns back, we will be on more even ground against the Sith. That still leaves the Emperor Trilkan you mentioned..."

"Emperor, Duke, Knight, Jester, County Clerk, they'll all die the same."

Great thuds resounded through the chamber as Prefect Maximillian Foster, known as Big Maxie by those lucky enough not to be on his Not-As-Bad Side, strode into the chamber with his arms outstretched, and his great flowing black and gold woven trenchcoat flowing behind him. It wasn't quite possible to understand how he could make his footsteps sound like great piledrivers striking the floor with such... casual movements, but he did it. A pair of what looked like typical Godulan soldiers followed behind him, seemingly unarmed, but the black mist issuing from their eyes betrayed that there was something... otherworldly... about them.

Maxie took a position beside Daniel Masaki, gave him a great toothy grin of pure sadistic glee that, strangly enough, did not include Maxie's horrendous sharklike jaws. Then, he added a single word, his voice suddenly reverberating throughout the room:

"SCREAMING."

He gave each of the assembled Jedi a satisfied look then shifted into a more benevoltent smile, opening his arms in a surprisingly friendly gesture.

"Greetings, assorted individuals of power, my name is Maximillian Foster. Called by those who know me as 'Big Maxie', called by everybody else as 'Help me help me he's going to kill me oh god there he is help me help me GCKKKK!'. Hope you don't mind the melodrama."

As for the war itself.....we are committed to deploy troops, and send as many Acolytes as possible and arms to aid you in your War. Sure, they may be family, but until they can be converted, we must deal with their minions."

I plan to attach teams of Acolytes as "Volunteers," and funnel arms and ammunition to the Malkir. Hmm...an interesting problem. Then, I had a possible solution. I stood up and made a Tiger hand-seal (hands looks like praying, but with forefingers raised). A tinge of blue energy curled around me, and in a puff of smoke, I transformed into a small child.

"Henge no Jutsu, or the Transformation technique. You guys can probably do it with the Force, but I think we can use it to spy on the enemy and determine their positions." I explained in a cute, high-pitched voice.

Magriel stood up at this, "In most cases, they turn back when their relative or old friend is being tourchered or on the brink of death, it would even work on the Sith. Look at how Darth Vader was converted back to Anikan when his son was being tourchered by Palpatine. He couldn't stand seeing his only son being killed like that. His thurst for power was overcome by the love of his son and he hurled Palpatine down the second Death Star, sacrificing himself so that his son can live. Ofcourse, we should all know about this classic event in history.

As to your earlier statement about finding someone in the Kirtir ranks, there is none. They think me dead, but we'll prove them wrong. What I need is a damaged shuttle (preferably shot at by Masaki's Jedi to make it real), travel it to Trilkan, and reveal myself as Darth Deshoonde once more. I'll beable to close my mind to the others without them realizing it, and I could feed you information through either the force, or through transmitions. My master, Jorrus, has an old old friend in Huntaria who'll be more than glad to hack into the networks and provide you information about the Kirtir whereabouts. Ironicly, this friend was a very minor cause to the rise of Darth Trilkan for it was he who helped Jorrus find enough convictions to kick Senator Dorman out, before he became Trilkan. Not that we have to fear fo him to turn against us, because the Emperor is still looking for his whereabouts in Huntaria. See, he's too smart for the emperor even for a non force-sencitive."

Maxie rolled his eyes at everybody's banter, then let loose a perfunctory growl of exertion. Within approximately ten seconds, his bald scalp had managed to grow a full head of oily black hair, the metallic veins throughout his skin had vanished, and his body and facial features had become somewhat slimmer and sharper. He seemed smaller, but no less deadly. His eyes had even turned completely black.

He threw his trench coat off, and brought his hands out in a gesture of proclamation.

"BEHOLD! Lord Seether am I. I come to you, illustrious Trilkan... or whatever the fool's name is... to root out and DESTROY the Jedi scum once and for all!"

He gave the surrounding Jedi a smug look. "Its all a matter of acting, looking, and BEING the part. Junko said, slightly surprised and offended; "You know, that might work. Of course, they might be able to see through that, eventually. All of these ideas definetly, have gotta be put into some kinda plan; we could infiltrate some fake Sith using the Tau ships, for example, into enemy territory, where they could do some funky stuff. Magriel dismissed his comment by the wave of his hand, almost in frustration, "you're a fool if you think that. These are KIRTIR LORDS leading the group, NOT SITH Lords. Yes, the group will be lead by sith, but if they are wounded or rendered useless in the eyes of the Kirtir Lords, they will kill the Sith lord. If they want to read your actioins, they will drug you and use technology instead of the force to extract their information. They will use lots of methods to get the information that they want out of you. Heed my warnings, or you will find yourself in doom when you try to infiltrate them and they find you guilty of treason. These aren't Palpatines or Exar Xuns you're dealing with. Even if somehow you manage to get buy them as a sith lord, you won't get by them for being a Kirtir for the Sith don't know what a Kirtir is. It's EASY to understand the ways of the Sith. You could studdy the Kirtir for 10,000 years and still not know what it means to be a Kirtir. I, however, can train some to act as a Kirtir seeing how I was once one myself. Maximillian let loose a series of great guffaws that shook the room with their intensity.

"Lets get one thing straight here and now, I have forgotten how old I am, for I have seen entire eons pass by like leaves on the wind. I say that I am somewhere around sixty five millenia in age because I seem to remember an interesting asteroid strike in another universe around that time, the only thing is, my brain is so full of memories that damn me if I haven't forgotten what order they came in. Through ages upon ages of nothing but the most horrific battle campaigns have I lived. I have seen many different interpretations of the Force, a veritable kaleidoscope of life energy that feeds these powers that you and your brethren profess to understand on a higher plane.

"I have seen many who could create soul clones of themselves to take on entire armies. I have seen those who could create matter with naught but strength of will. I have witnessed these individuals exact feats of truely awe inspiring strength. All philosophies. All techniques. I have seen so much that nothing is truly 'new' anymore.

"I have killed these people. I have fed on them. Their energy is now mine to use. I may not be able to duplicate their abilities fully, but rest assured that I am more than capable of handling myself, and have indeed handled myself, against a great many foes."

He stalked toward Magriel, his teeth suddenly reverted back into their normal Shark Jaws, and his sadistic grin unnaturally wide.

"You mistake me, youngling. I profess an ability to act as a Sith, but you must note that I am most definitely NOT one. I do not use the dark side of the force. I simply use... the force... and as such, I can make it seem like whatever I wish. Dark side, Light side, Chartreuse Side, Polka-dot Side... The energy I hold within my body is not my own. It is taken, fed to me by the life energy of my defeated enemies. With every life I take, my strength grows, and rest assured, my friend, I have taken a great many lives."

He turned around to regard Daniel.

"Did you know, Dannyboy, that waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when, I committed an atrocity so horrific that there was nothing for it but immediate execution? I'm sad to say that the crime was wholly unintentional, more due to a catastrophic case of the brain farts than anything, but it was a big one nonetheless. For this heinous crime, I was executed... then executed again... then executed again... a total of nine times was I alternately beheaded, torn to shreds, or impaled, and each time I came back. I lost a great deal of energy that day, but they eventually gave up. I later came back to kill them for revenge, but hey, that's turnabout for you."

He turned back to Magriel, his grin somewhat more menacing, not in its rage, but in its oddly devious turn.

"That may not seem like a big deal to you, but I shall merely say that I am not afraid of torture, drugs, or even harsh language. I have felt, and laughed off, worse. Do not delude yourself into thinking that their methods are by any means anything special. However, I was never really all that keen on the spy gig anyway. I was more implying I would just use that to get in close for a quick neck snapping."

"That is why we must stop this bickering, and make a pre-emptive strike. Target minor depots and naval yards, as major ones would most likely be well protected. Doing so will slow them down just enough for us to do other operations, and get the upper hand."

"Pre-emptive strikes indeed! To take the initiative gives us control of the campaign. WE hit THEM. WE force THEM to defend. WE keep THEM on their heels. The longer they spend trying to anticipate and defend against our strikes, the longer they are unable to react to us in an offensive measure. Keep them from regaining their footing long enough, and they don't have enough strength left for it to matter.

"Perhaps I should call in my Kythons..."

Also in doing so, this will cause them to defend their major installations even more, in turn making it harder for us overall. But if we strike at minor installations, we draw them away from the major ones to the minor ones, then we have a slightly easier times punching through defences later on in the way."

Admiral Fargo had then ordered him, commander of the first CND ship to reach the system where the meeting was to take place, to go to the meeting and ensure that the fleet would be ready to cooperate fully with other nations in this effort. Before he had walked into the meeting area, Alex had paused and listened to the comments just made by Junko. Well... now's as good a time to enter as any.

"My only real question about this is: Do we have the onformation needed to carry out such an attack? Does anyone have information regarding the locations of their less defended bases? If so, we'll have to send scouts to make sure that we aren't accidentally jumping into a trap.
