WHEREAS: Anti-semetism is on the rise across the the world.
WHEREAS: No world power seems to be ready to stand up and help defend the Jews from pogroms or other acts of aggression against these innocent civilans.
WHEREAS: IDF's military is more than formidable to defeat threats from groups such as Nazis.
WHEREAS: IDF law states that all Jews abroad hold honorary IDF citizenship.

THEREFORE: Be it resolved by the IDF Knesset that military or economic action is to be used against nations that persecute their Jewish populations.

Then You should know all Jews in Frozopia are driven into the snow waste lands. Jews once formed a rebellion that became extremely close to success over 200 years ago. Although people no longer place there reason for hating Jews on that rebellion, there is still fear and anger towards them.

In order to facilitate this rather grand design, we would like to know who precisely counts as a Jew in your estimation. It appears that there is some differing opinions on the matter. For example, we assume that all Rabbis legitimately qualify as Jews, in any interpretation of the word, so we plan to inform them of their new citizenship. However, what about those who only pay lip service to the religion? What about converts? What about the ‘racially Jewish’ who consider the religion to be ‘utter nonsense based on inane and ancient ranting’ such as myself?

Sovereign nation is a sovereign nation no matter what it does to her citizens. Government owns the population, and has right to do what ever it feels is best for the majority of it. In this recent case it seems that the jewish minority formed a threat to the stability of Frozopia, and it therefore acted to secure the peace.

That's the right thing to do.

I don't say this because I'd was an antisemitist, no, I say this because I feel that no matter the race or religion, those who put the government in danger should be always exterminated. its the duty of it.

Having called his daughter, he finally had time for the more (Or less, depending on one's point of view) important things, looking through the documents on his table. A civil war here, a revolution there, the northern regions were slowly stabilising, again, his own forces pushing the rebels back. Sule smiled. The hatred between the different rebel factions, specifically the People's Front of Freedom Exterminated and Freedom Exterminated's People's Front, worked in his favour.

He was quite incapable of changing the country the way he had wanted to, back when he had been young, idealistic, full of dreams and illusions (Just like the rebels he now had to deal with), but he would at least manage to stay in power for one or two, perhaps even three more decades, if everything went well.

The knowledge that he had once been the way the rebels were now was fortunate, comforting. He knew that even if he failed to keep his power, his successors wouldn't be able to change the country any more than he had been. Some things never changed, and this gave him the excuse he needed to continue with this the way he did, unable to change anything, but quite capable of living the way he lived, luxuriously, at least guaranteeing his daughter a better future (And, for that matter, present).

I thing now is the right time to explain by demands on the IDF government. We could not accept 10,000 IDF infantry entering our land. This force, if it armed the Jewish rebels could cause a massive rebellion. One that could end with defeat and alot of blood shed. This could be then aided by a naval attack from the IDF ships. We distrust any aid that is being offered to the Jews.

We wish to have more than 1 month's time for the evacuation of the Jews. Such an operation cannot be completed within such a short amount of time. We ask that you allow the 10,000 soldiers. They will leave as soon as the last Jew is taken to Israel to begin their new life.

We notice that you do not like our fleet in its current position. They are over 200 miles outside of your territorial waters. Their presence is not an act of war. Surely you believe in freedom of the seas.

Vice-Admiral Payton's ships were now on station 250 miles from the Frozopia coast. He was prepared for a fight should it come to that. He had noticed from RORSATs that Frozopia had mobilized her fleet. That was not particularly surprising. He was pleased to note that while it was a large fleet for nation of that size, it wasn't built of the advanced trimarian hulls he had in his fleet. He was also pleased to see that his crews were responding well. IDF Naval forces were now back at 100% readiness after the deadly IDF Civil War that ended only 8 years before.

At 0800 the next day, it appeared that Frozopian forces were mobilizing for possible attacks. Payton ordered that the task-force go to Condition III so they could defend themselves. LADARs were lit up and so were a few of the Aegis IV RADAR systems. Payton also made sure to have AWACs coverage in case of a preemptive strike. A few of his F-14Is were up flying figure 8's over the fleet to act as a BARCAP should an attack come.

The only weapon systems that were prepared to fire on a minute's notice at this time were the CIWS, RAMs, SM-3ER SAMs, and the new Anti-Missile laser that was basically a shipborne variant of the 747 laser developed by the US Military in the late 20th century. He made sure that his fleet showed no aggresive actions at this time. He didn't want to fire the first shot before 48 hours. He hoped it would've even come to a fight, but it likely would.

He was now ready to defend against an attack. His LADAR systems and Aegis IVs had proven successful in the detection of stealth aircraft. He was also ready to launch his own attack in 5 minutes warning. That was all the time it would take to go from Condition III to Condition I General Quarters if he had to. His crews were drilled and he knew they would perform admirably.

The Jeruselem government is rather concerned under IDF's new law, at least 20% of our population would be honorary citizens of IDF hence we'd have a very large proportion of our population being dual citizens. We would like discuss this matter further.

Many nations have had concerns about the honorary citizenship of their Jewish populations. We wish to quell those fears. This honorary citizenship doesn't have any actual effects on the Jews within your nation. The honorary citizenship is only in place to make it easier to skip the red tape in getting Visas to enter IDF or to make it easier to apply for actual citizenship should they decide to take an aliyah to Israel.

We are surprised that people are disturbed by this. This has been established IDF law for decades and it hasn't caused any problems for us or the nations that have Jewish populations. The honorary citizenship does serve to remind the Knesset that they have a duty to protect Jews who lack the ability to protect themselves.

We would not consider this anti-semetism. What we act on are extreme cases such as government sponsored pogroms or genocide. It has long been IDF policy to act in these cases. We have fought wars side by side against such nations. This really isn't new policy. IDF has been acting in such cases since the beginning of our nation. I want to swamp the enemy. A simulataneous attack of both storms and hurricanes will crush the enemy like the worthless barbarians they are. Although they will detect our forces quickly, a large scale swift attack will make up for the lack of surprise. Remember their naval forces are far superior to ours, but we accomadate for this with sheer numbers. Hopefully the ferocity of this attack will drive the enemy to the bottom of the Sea's.

King Ari and Grand Admiral Joseph Jacobson were in a conference when the dispatch came through from Frozopia that war had been declared. King Ari had hoped against all hope that peace would've broken through. After all, the IDF fleet was well outside of Frozopian waters and the demands made weren't unreasonable.

King Ari told Jacobson to run the war. After all, Jacobson had run many past military campaigns for IDF, and he had done a fine job doing so. Jacobson quickly send a CODE 1 message to the entire IDF fleet authorizing the attack on any Frozopian flagged ships. He further ordered that additional warships be sent towards their coast, but the nearest help was the rest of the 2nd fleet, which was still 48 hours away from the current IDF task force on station. The aircraft on their carriers were in range to strike with a refueling from S-3s even at this long range. The TLAMs would be within launch range in only 6 more hours fore the rest of the 2nd fleet.

IDF Navy Task Force, 250 miles off of Frozopian coast
The Code 1 transmission quickly reached Vice-Admiral Payton. He was within strike range now, but he would be without much support for a day. He could get additional air cover from carriers of the main body of the 2nd fleet, which was 1200 miles away and moving at an average speed of 25 knots.

“Set condition 1!” yelled the Admiral once he finished the message. With his order, all the ships of the fleet went from Condition III steaming to Condition I as they manned battlestations as the various GQ alarms sounded on the ships. “Carry out attack plan Foxtrot,” was the next order from the Admiral.

The Aegis IV equipped Meir and Ramon class DDGs along with the Chicago class FFGs, lit up their SPY-5 RADARs along with their remaining LADAR arrays to scan the sky for targets. While the IDF destroyers had stealth features build into them, they weren't going for stealth now as they emitted tons of electronic energy into the air. A high altitude flight of bombers was quickly plotted on the various threat boards in the CICs of the escort ships. The group was designated Raid-1 and was made up of an unknown type of bomber. One thing was clear, they had to be engaged.

The bombers flew in and at a range of 150 miles, the IDF ships engaged. The Chicago class FFG ISS Des Moines was the first ship to open fire in the war for IDF as she unleashed a SM-3ER SAM missile at an enemy bomber from her forward VLS tubes. She fired other missiles at other planes as did other Aegis IV equipped escorts. The good thing about VLS was that a ship could empty a 100 missile magazine within a few minutes and they didn't have to turn to open fire either. The IDF escorts fired a total of 250 missiles in its first volley at Raid 1. They would wait to see the results of these launches and the results of the IDF fighter raid before launching more. There were trace hits at this range of possible stealth aircraft, but nothing good enough to fire at yet. If there were stealth aircraft, then they would be easily fired at once they came within 100 miles of the outer barrier of frigates and destroyers.

Above the escort ships, 24 F-14Is from the supercarrier ISS Levi streaked towards the sky with their LPI Doppler RADARs switched off. While the RADAR wasn't easy to track on an RWR, it still would have the possibility of making the F-14's targets. The F-14s were each armed with 6 AIM-54C Phoenix missiles and 2 ASRAAMs. E-2Cs and the ships sent up their own RADAR pictures up to the IAI improved design over the venerable American naval fighter. The aircraft moved in at mach 1.5 and when at a range of 140 nm, they were in range to fire their Phoenixs at the inbound Raid flight. The 24 fighters each dropped 4 of the AA missiles off of their rails and slowed, but didn't turn away as their now activated RADARs guided the mach 5 missiles in at their targets. The F-14s were still bearing down on the bombers, but didn't know that the F-22s were up to escort them. While the F-22 was easily detected by Aegis and LADAR inside of 100 miles, the F-14s were outside of that range and their own Doppler RADARs in their nose would've be able to detect the F-22 at long range.

The real Naval battle would be fought ship-ship, as it had been done for centuries. RORSATs and RADAR had shown that the enemy fleet was now 200 miles away. They seemed to be heavy in big gunned and well armored battleships, but lacking in the thin hulled escorts that made up most of IDF's Navy. That was good and bad. It was good that missiles fired would easily rack up hits with such a poor AA screen, but it was also going to take a lot of firepower to take these ships out.

Captain Rivka Schwartz was the first female captain in the IDF Navy. She had twice rejected promotion to Rear-Admiral to remain where she was, commanding the Netanyahu class dreadnought ISS Samson. The Samson and other IDF battleships in the area had ETC guns instead of conventional guns. That meant that they far outranged the enemy fleet, but they were also heavily outgunned with 15 24” guns on the Samson and a total of 24 21” guns on the 2 Arizona class battleships.

Schwartz was leading the effort of all 3 battleships. Her ships ETC shells had rocket boosters giving them a range of 275 miles, the Arizona's shells had a range of 225 miles. She made sure to launch her very small and stealthy UAVs. Their RCS would be a fraction of the one produced by the most advanced stealth fighters since the UAV was small to begin with. The UAVs flew on to get over the enemy fleet. Once over the fleet, they began directing targeting lasers at the fleet. These lasers would be crucial in guiding the shells on such a long engagement.

The Samson opened fire first firing a full broadside of 15 shells towards the middle of the enemy fleet. She fired again with a new broadside ever 30 seconds. The UAV sent data on each volley and allowed the ships to re-target to get more hits.

The 2 Arizona class BBNs quickly added their own fire as each ship had their own UAVs up to guide in their own shells. Ever 25 seconds, the 2 ships fired their full broadsides of 12 shells each. They too re-targeted based on data from the UAVs.

Shells weren't the only weapon the IDF fleet had. They were too heavily outgunned here to rely only on shells, they had to use their missiles. That is why there were arsenal ships in the fleet. The 2 arsenal ships each fired 125 SS-N-19 Shipwreck missiles at the enemy fleet. The 250 missiles each had a 500 km range and a 750 kg high explosive warhead as they moved at speeds of over mach 2 towards the enemy fleet. These missiles may have been Soviet Cold War relics, but they were still effective weapons.

Esther Levine frowned deeply as she listened to the transmissions from IDF and Frozopia. "This CAN'T be real." she said, shaking her head.

Sadako Kawabata looked over from her own console. "What is it, Esther?"

Levine removed her headset. "War between IDF and Frozopia."

Kawabata lowered her head, then shook it. "At any given time, there's any number of wars going on in the world."

"Yeah, but this is patently unnecessary. IDF and Frozopia agree that some Jews should be allowed to immigrate from Frozopia to IDF and IDF's expense." Levine said in frustration. "However, Frozopia is worried the people IDF wants top use will be used to do something else. So it's war."

"Should we sent it up the ladder?" Kawabata asked. "Strictly speaking, we have no interests in either of these countries. I'd never even heard of Frozopia before."

"Yeah, but I'm worried about the Jews in northern Frozopia. And not just because they're my coreligionists. It has to be a horrible life up there." Levine replied swiftly.

"Good deed for the day then." Kawabata said. "I'll take it up for you."

The Attack:
The First volley streaked towards the F/A 18's, at their high altitude.
Leading the F/A 18's today was Greater Hurricanes Caprot. And as far as he was concerned Superior Hurricanes Richard was a idiot. Only 20 of the F/A 18's were equipped for air to air combat, when all of them could easily have been. They were F/a' 18's wernt they!? At least his F/A 18 was ready for any poor fighter who dared challenge him.
Caprot was gonna make this attack successful. He had instantly instructed his team before the mission of what they were supposed to do:
"Ignore the Superior Hurricane. Fly high, then sweep in low and unleash hell on the enemy. I managed to pull a few strings for some of you boys and we got 20 F/A 18's equipped to defend ourselves. Go in fast, slow down before you strike and then after burn out of there. No mistakes, or it will be your last mistake."
But these were the last things on his mind as the 250 missiles sweapt at his squad. The F/A 18's did there damndest to perform evasive manouvers. Increasing there speed to Mach 1.5, their max speed for all the weight they carried, they gained another 1000 meters in altitude before the Volley struck home. The missiles whipped past Caprot but he saw enough for it to hurt.
Lesser Hurricanes Gore took a a direct hit to his cockpit seat. He immediatly died feeling no pain at all as the plane exploded in the sky. Hurricanes Smith lost a wing to the volley and was sent spinning to the sea. He did not survive the impact. Hurricanes Mathews lost the tail of his plane but managed to eject in time. Unfortunately it was not a clean ejection, and the parachute did not open fully. He also died upon impact with the sea.
7 Further Hurricanes went down, there were no survivors.
Caprot was relieved of the 250 missiles only 10 hit. The evasive manouvers just payed off, but he knew god knows how many more volleys were to be fired. Caprot knew there was nothing for it. The remaining 60 split into 6 groups.
Then the enemy fighters struck.
As the enemy incoming fighters were detected 20 F/A 18's trained their AIM-9 sidewinders on the enemy crafts using their infra red guidance systems and fired. It was then that the AA misiles struck. 5 more F/A 18's went down.

Greater Raptor Anderson was a excellent flyer. Probaly the best Commander in the army, he refused promotion to Superior Hurricanes, instead prefering a more hands on approach. The Raptors hit Mach 1.8 on their afterburner getting close as possible to the F/A 14I's before firing 30 AIM-120 missiles. These Radar navigated Missiles immediatly flew towards the enemy fighters....

Greater Storms Emanuel was Commanding a Royal Naval Escort. He was the most superior officer on site of the naval forces in this mission. And he was worried. His Royal Navy Escorts werent in range yet, never mind the rest of his force, and yet the enemy were ruthlessly firing upon them. They had to bridge the gap quickly. In the meanwhile the enemies fire was getting closer and closer untill finally......
Disaster. 4 Shells struck the IOWA knight 3 followed by 2 more. The ship was struggling to progress. 2 Struck its main guns, killing 23 naval men preparing to fire them. 3 hit its Main deck killing 13 more naval men and 1 hit its stern. The IOWA knight laboured on now making only a sluggish approach.
Suddenly the Hull erupted as 4 ship wreck missiles hit it near simultaneously. It was the last straw. Lesser Storms Monks ordered evacuation and sent out a SOS to all neighborouing ships. The ship began to sink rapidly. Men threw themselves over board. Few lifeboats were ready in time. In the freezing waters this was a death sentence. IOWA knight 5 paused on its progress to take up some survivors. Then 2 Ship wreck missiles hit it in the hull. The ship was struggling to remain surfaced as its crew rescued the survivors from the IOWA knight 3.
Emanuel roared with anger. 3 Royal Navy Escorts turned onto broad side and returned fire......

The Air Battle
Commander Roberts, who was leading the F-14 raid was pleased to see the SAMs from the fleet hit home on some of the enemy hornets. He was not pleased to see that his own Phoenixs had done so little. Each of his 24 planes had 2 of the mach 5 missiles left, and at a range of 60 miles they were ready to fire. He knew these missiles wouldn't be enough as there were 55 hornets and only 48 Phoenixs to fire, but he fired anyways hoping to do damage. There were other squadrons of fighters up there anywyas to deal with those who escaped this round.

The Phoenixs streaked up at mach 5 in a ballistic arch. At 110,000 feet, they tipped over and streaked down towards the hornets below. The Hornet was a good versatile aircraft, but it wasn't as good in the air superiority role as the Tomcat. Roberts expected to get more hits out of this volley of phoenixs due to the shorter range.

While his missiles were halfway there, he encountered a problem. His threat receiver was now reading 30 airborne missile RADARs from F/A-22s. He couldn't do a thing about them until they got closer and he could get them with sidewinders, but he knew the opportunity wouldn't come. He radioed in a danger warning to the carrier and all other squadron leaders as he continued to bear his fighter towards the enemy since the phoenix missiles required that his AWG-9 RADAR be in operation to guide the missiles in at the hornets.

He soon realized that the Raptors had slowed and were turning away from his flight. That could only mean one thing. The Raptors had fired their AMRAAMs. The AMRAAM was a fire and forget missile so they didn't have to continue to bear in on his planes to guide the missiles. Roberts ordered his flight to continue in and not turn away. He knew his Phoenixs would hit the hornets before the AMRAAMs reached his planes so his planes would have a shot at evasion, but the casualties would be monstrous here.

He saw that his Phoenixs had now all either hit targets or blown up in chaff clouds. He was now free to maneuver. He swept his wings back and throttled his duel Pratt and Whitney engines as he and the rest of his flight made desperate maneuvers as they dropped chaff and flares. IT was hopeless, there wer more Raptors and they didn't have enough time to jink away. 11 of the Tomcats fell to the first volley while 6 more took damage and had to turn back. Only 5 of the damaged would make it back to the carrier. Of the 12 lost Tomcats, only 5 of their 24 cremen survived. Roberts was among the dead. His squadron XO ordered the 7 remaining planes to turn back to the carrier.

The ISS YORKTOWN held the group SAM director. He was not pleased that only 4% of his missiles made kills. Aegis was supposed to be much more effective. He knew his 2nd volley would be deadlier than the 1st since the enemy aircraft were now closer to his own RADARs and thus the fire control systems would have a better shot of guiding the missiles into maneuvering planes. He ordered that 250 more missiles be lobbed at the enemy hornets. He saw that he was now getting returns on the Raptors that the late Commander Roberts had reported into him, but they were still 20 miles away from a distance where LADAR could give him a good enough track to fire at them.

Aboard the carrier ISS Levi, it was decided to launch the next wing of fighters. The carrier had 48 F-35Cs ready on alerts 5-15. The carrier had 6 cats and was capable of launching all 48 planes within 15 minutes. The order was given and the birds began launching into the air to create another fighter barrier between the enemy inbounds and the IDF fleet. The planes were loaded with 4 AMRAAMs and 4 ASRAAMs each, and they would be a better match against the F-22s than the F-14s that just got wasted.

There was a friendly sight to the south as 4 squadrons of F/A-18Fs from the 2 Yorktown class carriers that were still 800 miles away streaked over the deck to cover the carrier. The Super-Hornets were lightly loaded due to the long trek they made, and they had to get refueled midflight from buddy-store tanks carried by S-3s from the ISS Levi. These Hornets would allow the JSFs from the Levi to go out and form a BARCAP. There was even better news that a few other F-14s from the other carriers were being prepared to join in air cover. Even though the Tomcats from the Levi got massacred, they were still good aircraft.

The Sea Battle
The 3 IDF battleships were still firing heavy shells into their much larger 21" and 24" shells with more accuracy as the range decreased. The 2 Menachem Begin class BCNs could now each fire their 9 10" ETC shells. The Begin class battle-cruisers could fire a volley of 9 shells every 6 seconds. This was thanks to improvements upon the old Des Moines class cruisers that the US Navy had built in the late 1940s. IDF engineers had discovered how to improve the quick firing shells that would allow pure saturation of the enemy. Now these 2 cruisers added 18 more guns to the engagement. THeir shells were laser guided from the UAVs operating off of the ISS SAMSON.

The enemy was now firing with their own battleships. They had more ships, but they weren't firing as accurately or with as many big guns. The guns were now firing at the outer barrier of IDF escorts. The destroyer Manila took a hit amidships and her superstructure was now engulfed in flames as she listed heavily to starboard. It was clear that even if the fires were to be extinguished that she was a loss as the shell had managed to destroy many watertight hatches flooding many lower compartments. Her captain ordered the crew to abandon ship minutes before she capsized. Half of her crew of 300 had perished. Shells were now falling close to other escorts. It was decided that they go to flank speed and maneuver as much as possible to avoid the incoming shells.

There were many enemy ships still out there. It was decided that the 2 Ohio class SSGNs should come up to 150 feet and launch their battery of missiles. It only took 15 minutes for each of the subs to fire their 156 TASMs at the enemy ships. This made it almost 8 missiles fired per enemy ship. All Admiral Payton could do now as wait and see the results of this attack.

Air Battle:
The enemy F/A 14I's were sweapt aside, but not before triggering and guiding their Phoenixs at the F/A 18's.
The F/A 18's Greater Hurricane Caprot saw the incoming volley of Phoenixs but there was nothing to do but to hit there after burners and hope. The orders were given out to his co-pilots, and the pilots immediatly hit Mach 1.7, as the fuel was injected directly into the engine. A white streak was left behind the jets as they gained faster and faster on the ships.
Then the Phoenixs hit. The missiles were largely aimed at the Hornets, who immediatly suffered. Of these 20 F/A 18's 11 went down, sent spinning to the sea or exploding in the sky's. Luckily Caprots Hornet was unscathed. Of the ramining F/A 18's a further 4 went down. 6 Pilots safely ejected and made it to the water.......
The F/A 18's numbers were thinning now. Caprot considered pulling back, but he knew they had to hurt the enemy ships. They were almost in range to fire their air to surface ammunition. Caprot swore. Another volley of missiles, Caprot roughly estimated 200, were fired from the enemy ship. The missiles whipped towards the F/A 18's. Caprot went crazy. The Greater Hurricanes ordered a massive reduction in altitude. The F/A 18's sweapt downwards, reducing their height by 2000 meters before the missiles struck. 20 F/A 18's went down. No pilots survived.
Of the original 70 F/A 18's only 25 remained.
But Finally the F/18's were close to the enemy who had hurt them so much. Who had made them suffer with the loss of friends and comrades. The 25 F/A 18's were so close to firing upon the enemy ships.........

Each ship turned and gave a full broad side. Holding their position to retain some accuracy, they whipped shell after shell into the enemy ships. Each Royal Navy Escort firing 9 shells every 16 seconds, the 10 of them managed to whip constant fire of 24 inch shells at the enemy.
The IOWA knights were firing a bit faster, instead throwing 11 shells in 16 seconds with there 16 inch guns. This meant that the 16 ships were throwing 156 shells in 16 seconds at the enemy ships. But they were begining to take hits. Enemy Missiles and guns were finding their targets. 2 More IOWA knights took hits, but were capable to return fire and surfaced without difficulty. 1 Royal Navy Escort retained fire. Its main guns were punched by enemy guns, 4 TASM's struck it's broad side. It's commander, Lesser Storms Day ordered a evacuation, and another SOS signal was sent out. But disaster struck. Some how a shell had breached the extra strong walls protecting the Armory supply. The Ship was engulfed in one large fire ball. No one survived.
2 Other Royal slave ships, who wernt even in range to return fire yet took heavy hits. Both ships had to evacuate into the life boats. Luckily most of the crew on both ships survived, taking losses largely at the points where missiles/ shells struck them.
The Ocean was now a frenzy of fire, both sides sending 100's of missiles and shells at the other side. The Royal Navy Escorts and the IOWA knigts were begining to fire their SD 106 missiles. Capable of firing 30 in 10 Seconds, these heavy weight missiles were fired using the small onboard radar system to find their targets.
