IC:A quick way to get sent to jail in Red Tide was to stage a protest. Just when the communist movement (which had been dead in Red Tide for several years) gets back to 5,000 members, what do they do? THEY STAGE A PROTEST! And with all their members too!

Now the Red Tideans are staring down the Current Gaurd Shocktrooper Battalion that gaurds the Supreme Commanders Residence/Office at the edge of Ariga. On both sides of the protest, the Riot Supression arm of the Red Tidean Police SWAT team was preparing to subdue and arrest the prisoners. They lined up in two rows on both sides of the road, locked riot shields, and began marching forward. The crowd began to compress as the R-SWAT(as the riot police are known as) began to beat on them with billy clubs. Shots rang out, several R-SWAT officers fall.

Holes open in the R-SWAT Line which are quickly filled with protestors turned rioters. The R-SWAT men begin to get beaten from all sides. When the rioters finished beating the officers into submission they turned and angrily began marching towards the walls on the Supreme Commanders Residence. At 500 meters, the Current Gaurd Battalion recieves orders to open fire. The Shocktroopers raise their RPK-74 Machine Guns and open fire with real rounds.

The effects are horrendous and captured on international TV. Protestors who are certified hunters fire back with handguns and low caliber hunting rifles, but it is in vain as the bullets bounce off the Shocktroopers steel body suits.

By the end of the hour, 2,000 protestors are dead, 2,500(including the ringleaders) are in prison and awaiting execution via Nerve Gas Chamber. 500 are still on the loose. The Red Tide Goverment does not issue a statement about the massacre.

The Commandante demands the relsase of all prisoners, and deporting them to Peopleita, were they will be treated as human beings. The Commandante frowns upon the Red Tide government.

The Commandante demands to know when their trial will be taking place (if there is one, facsist scum) or when there execution will be taking place. The Commandante is placing a blockade on Red Tide as well as a Trade embargo.

The Peoples republic of New Sans although regretful that your forces had to use violence because of the lack of intelligence shown by the protesters wishes to express it's congratulations on the "putting down" of these violent beasts. Surely if they are willing to use force on those whose job is to keep the peace they wouldn't hesitate to use it on everyone else to get their way. If at all possible we would like to obtain a copy of the execution to air on a nationwide broadcast to show those who threaten peace their eventual fate.

I believe that nations have the right to enforce their own laws and prevent disorder. Look at us, we have protest permits too, though we use tear gas and only real rounds when shots are fired. As for the Peopleita, we know they are our allies but they are interfering with a trade partner whom we have purchased weapons from. If push comes to shove, we'll probably side with Red Tide. We'll take 20, 5.6 billion is being wired as we speak. Also, I think if the populace raises an illegal army and tries to kill the government, and has killed police officers, I'd imprison them too.

While the Holy Empire does not agree with the way that the Government of Red Tide2 handeled the situation, we remain neutral in this matter. The Nation of Red Tide2 may handle matters in their nation as they see fit.

As ally to Peopleita, MelekTaus stands beside it militaristically. However, we do not wish to be involved in the current blockade, and activelly plead with Peopleita to stand down. We will only assist if war actually breaks out.

So stating your intentions for a blockade is not a show of force? Because last time we checked sending military ships to another nation with the intent to deny them resources isn't a peaceful tactic. These criminals used lethal force on those who were intent on keeping the peace, and intended to use more before being dispersed. It is doubtful they intended to march up the the gaurdsmen and say, "I'm sorry chaps perhaps we can forget about this misunderstanding." after they attacked riot police. Donald Giert had been having an uneventful day, which by his standards was good since he really didn't have to do any work. While we are not interested in a video, we will take the prisoners to take for a more reasonable term of prison sentences, killing them in gas chambers is rather anti semetic in means. We propose you have an angry pro government mob kill them. It is a more effective and safe way to deal with them.
