Ok, I still want to keep the civil war open and I noticed that on the old "Huntaer prepairs for war agaisnt....." thread there were some new people who wanted to participate, but that thread was suppose to have died (I don't know how you guy's manage to find it. I thought it was way off of the last page of I.I. by now). So, now I'm going to be starting up a New civil war thread. Anyone who was in the older thread(yes, anyone) may still participate in this one. However: I feel that the reason the previous thread failed was because of no rules to follow. That being said here are some:

1) No fleet greater than 8000 ships (yes, including me), the limited number of fighters is determined by the maximum fighter capacity ALL of your ships hold.
2) No one may fire upon their own allies (unless they were realy on my side and specified they were on an assassination mission and whatnot)
3) Anyone who is at war with the opposite person other than this thread will IGNORE that war here. No formal disputes here.
4) No ship/Space Station greater than 160 Km. Really, who needs a ship bigger than 160 Km besides a godmodder?
5) No more than 4 vs 4 per war. Yes, there can be 20 players working in the war, but they will be limited per thread. I'll explain some of this later on.
6) (I need to create a new fact book for this one. My facts and explanations of the Kirtir/Malkir need to be revised)

7) Ok, there is a limit to how many people can sign up but it's a rather "large" number: 30 nations/factions total. If a nation counts as having a light side or dark side puppet(such as me and CoreWorlds), and they want to Rp as both, they'll count as two different nations for the time being.

I am very interested by this, and the rules are reasonable enough for me to follow. I've been looking for a good place to start RPing here, and this might just be it.

I havn't done FT in a while, but I'd like to join as a small dark side elite crack commando unit, about 30 ships maybe + fighters, led by a dark jedi and Her followers... And since there ain't much happenen latley, mabye we could do an RP...

That Actually sounds like a good Idea... but give me half an hour to get all my crap figured out...

Great, then we will send all of our Crisis suit, Broadside suit, and some stealthsuit squadrons... if we can think of an IC reason as to why the Tau would leave their new home world, and go out of their way to help some one in need. They would help "Good sides" in need, but need first contact before they know what is going on.

Can I jump in as a neutral guy? I've been thinking of colonizing another planet, and now my 2nd 3rd and 4th fleets (around 100 ships) are escorting a huge convoy through this system. It also turns out this system is where the action takes place.

It would add a sence of 'check your fire, don't hit those Taliosian guys.' And people could try to hold the civilians on my ships hostage for a number of reasons... I think it would be cool.

I'll join on the side of the Malkir-the Acolytes do dub their fight "a War of National Liberation," and besides, I've got stuff that'll help.

Glad to see you're here. I've heard of your weapon skills and I'm looking forward to seeing some of them in action.

On a very side, small note: Again note that any GE disputes between our nations are ignored here(if any at all).

Two things:

Also, there is no neutral side. (post #6) You can play as Grey Jedi, but you must side between the Kirtir or Malkir. The Malkir(the light side me) will welcome neutral people, but the Kirtir don't. The reason why there is no neutral side in the wars between light and dark is because the Kirtir will just conquer the neutral people and anex them into their empire.
Best to choose a side.

2) You can't be colonizing in this system because it's controled by ME. It has already been colonized, and there's nothing left to colonize.
On another note:
IC:, the Galactic Empire of Huntaer considers anyone who colonizes within our territories without permision is either a spy or enemy.
They will be shot down on site without question.

OOC: In other words, I'm VERY strict about who comes in and who doesn't ICly. So far the only people they allow to colonize within Huntarian space is the GE (again, through permission) or close allies.

The Light Side thread will start up as soon as I switch to Huntarian Alliances

The War won't start untill ~two weeks from now (reason being is I'm going to Cape Cod Mass. for two weeks and won't beable to get on AT ALL durring the time). This gives time to mobilize the forces, give more production time for fighters and whatnot, ect, ect.

Considering that the big honking war between the GE and... uh... me... is kinda in a state of limbo/on the verge of going poof, that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

OOC: I would just be jumping through, the convoy jump engines can't take as much punishment as the warships'...

Its kinda funny that in the light side and dark side preplanning threads, the plans are pretty much the same. Also, neither side has a defensive plan in case they aren't the first to strike (which both sides' plans require.) This could end up a damaging stalemate if this keeps up.

But I would like to sign up New Azaha... not my Tyranids or my Grey Knights, but ICly they are Azaha's seperatists, and this use a completely different set of technology, and share very little history.

New Azaha is a "Good" Nation, but I would like to RP these guys as rebels, with few ships. Like at most 200 of my multi-task carriers.

Not wishing to open the proverbial can of worms that is time travel, I'll whip up some new generation jedi for this...

Yis, Grey Knights, of the Ordo Mallues, 40k tech. They are inherently "Good"... if you can call it that. They'd just see this war as good "psykers" vs chaos psykers, or an interpretation of it.
