Hive fleet Gargantaroth.

The dark black abyss of the system glistened with the organic juices being secreted by the hive ships and the organic worlds. Their giant mouths pumping out hive ships of every size, every shape. Their massive veins pulsed with raw organic matter; thousands of the swarm lay dormant in the depths of the ships themselves. They seemed to breath, their armored carapaces.

Each ship was a mother unto itself. It could produce thousands of the swarm in a week’s time. With hundreds of other ships, it could reproduce en entire army of new; replacing the old battered wounded swarm before it. Each ship had the power to decimate a small poorly defended world, with a hoard of two million beasts.

Indeed it was almost time for another Hive Fleet, another time for the scourge of the universe to be unleashed, another time for enemies to fall, and allies to prosper.

The Chronosians watched with rapturous glee as their allies began their move. Not since the days of the Tyrannic wars had such a mighty army spewed forth to ravage and consume. There was no force like the Imperium of Man left to face it; and the Chronosian Imperium had chosen to ally with this juggernaut.

Their communications still mostly psychic, the hails went forth.

Great Devourer; the Universe shall tremble at your tumultous birth. The beast proper emerges; spawned from living worlds; defying the stars with its passing. You are truly glorious. What are you now to lesser beings, if not terrible and ravenous gods?

The black chintinous planets themselves heaved and vibrated, forever making the brood that would claw a bloody scar in the face of the universe.

Deep down on the Swarm's homeworld, the red mist seemed to part way, letting the savage bright rays of the sun beat down in a peice of land, that was one giant shining bubble.

The bubble itself pulsed, large limbs and mandibles clawing and chewing their way out of the thick hide of the giant boil fleshed into the soft organic ground.

Slowly, the beast peirced the hide that entrapped it, and suddenly tore it away as if it was paper. It burst from the bubble with a tremendous scream, that would have shattered eardrums miles around.

The extremely thick blue plated armor gleamed in the sun, its massively oversized scythes stamping and twitching, the hunched over body snapping and quaking.

The beat itself, though shorter than an imperial titan because of its hunched posture, was just as deadly, if not more. Claws of scythes that could swipe a building in half, teeth that could crush the armor of a land raider like it was a grape, armor no less strong than ship hull plating.

The newest child had been born, the new Bio-Titan (http://www.dropship.org.uk/showcase/sc0015.asp), and all would know soon enough.

Slowly, with purpose, the fleet started to move from the system. The sleek organis of the hive ships pulsing with bio matter. There were hundreds of ships, large and small, though most of those ships were empty, and used as decoys.

The fleet of 85 million creatures set forth.

Hive Fleet Gargantaroth...

Even though this fleet severely lacked the numbers that fleets before it had, it was no less deadly. Instead of pure numbers, this fleet would use somthing not known to the hives, tactics.

Now the end has started, the end of an era, and the beggining of an age of death, the new age of Tyranid.

OOC: Oooh! Oooh! Invade me! Another fleet on my borders should be fun, as Chronosia doesn't seem to be able to reply to my invasion thread [/subtlehint]
