History: When Peopleita was founded, it was initially a brutal facisist police state, in which opposing ideologies were outlawed, as well as the works of political philosophers such as Karl Marx and John Stuart Mill. Try as they might, they were not able to stop the common hatred of the government amongst the people. There had been numerous unsuccseful reveloutionary attempts, in which the brutal dictator, Adolf Windsor, finally gave the police the power to shoot anyone "suspicious" on sight. One man, Che Reilly, who had seen his father and uncle executed at one of Windsors many firing squads after being captured during an unsuccesful gurellia war against the facists, decidd to devote his life to bringing down the evil Windsor. Him being a Marxist, formed the then radical PSP, Peopleita Socialist Party, then under ground. They recived funding from from many anonymous donators, and would have collections with charity front, although it was common knowledge that they were PSP. Eventually the time came for reveloution and they fought a gurellia war in the rainforest state of Dosonte. As is a mainly rural place, they surprised to government and defeted the police, setting up the republic of Peopleita. After 12 years of brutal civil war, the PSP eventually seized power, and the war criminal Windsor hung himself in prison while awaiting trial. Many of the members of the old Facisist govermnet are still in prison, or were executed by the now abolished firing squad. Commandante Reilly has now re instated civil rights and political freedom and recently claimed 67% of the vote in the first democratic elections. Rencetly they were declared war on by Omnistan, but again triumphed eaisly. However not without a cost. Biological weapons were used against us, and although some were destroyed, the weapons did land and kill many. However thanks to quick thinking of the Commandante, most of our people were safely inside bunkers.
Geography: Peopleita is an island about the size of Cuba in the Pacific, just west of Chile. Peopleita has 5 states, Dosonte, a mainly rural area covered in Rainforest, located in the northwest of the country. Is's neighbour to the east, is Tomastico, a tourist favorite, containing argubley the most stunning beaches in the contenint. To the south, are the heavily industrial areas of Tirabad (south east) and Afif. In the middle of this is the Capatil State of Olyimpios, which although the the smallest state containes the highest popualtion and no less the capatil city of Guevara (named after the reveloutionary).

Military: Peopleita has 4 main sections of it's military. The Navy, the Air Force, the Army and the Guerrila Army. The Navy is relativley small, about 10 destroyers, 2 aircraft carriers, altohugh it has around 100 submarines. The Air Force is average size, with standard issue bombs, however no atomic, chemical or biological weapons. The army is massive, 3% of the population are in it. They are one of the most advanced in the world, although the last time they were used was during the reveloution by the facists, they were not used to fighting guerrila wars. The Guerrila army was set up by Che Reilly, after he came to power. This was used to stop an invasion on haome soil, they are even better trained than the army, but with about 3/4 of the numbers. 15% of the countries GNP is devoted to the army, though when there is military tensions beetween other countries escalte, ore is devoted to it. Peopleita aslo has some of the best anti air systems in the world, although again they have never really needed to be used.
All sections of the military have now been strenghtend due to aid during the Omanistan war.
