“YOU! You lead me astray, denied me my mission set by the hierarchs, you are the heretic, not that “twitter”. The oracle here has shown me the error of my ways and set me down the true path. For the salvation of the covenant, you, false-oracle, and that damned sharquoi must die. But even though you be a heretical oracle, I cannot kill you, but I will gladly silence you…”

"You will gladly attempt to silence me," the Tin Man replied, "as dozens
of others have attempted to over the centuries. And this oracle of yours, is
it the one who would have you kill his other followers? Even I, whom they
treated as an enemy, had more pity on their posessed souls than that.

"You need a lesson, boy, and, today, you're going to get one. School is
open. Today's subject is 'controling your temper.'"

The Tin Man did not turn to face his enemy. Instead, his body flowed into
a form that faced the opposite direction from the one that he had less than
a second before. From there, he launched right into Ikaporamee's blades--
and parried them with the practiced skill of a veteran of centuries of
combat. A third arm formed on his chest, and, as the blades turned aside,
it swung at the posessed sangheili's head.

OOC: Could've said more. Could've gotten into how TTM is *still* not

You're not going to be able to harm TTM with the standard stuff. He's
too fast and too crafty.

There IS, however, a way to hurt him and hurt him good.

OOC:Dastardly Stench']There IS, however, a way to hurt him and hurt him good.
HINT:check out the post where he and Ika first met.

When you first encountered the commando, I thought about doing it, but they wouldn’t know this, so, meh…

IC: A cluster of fist sized rocks shot at Tin Man’s wrist, but he was easily able to shatter them. This gave Ikaporamme what he wanted as he back flipped away.

“But of those dozens, none wielded a weapon of the forerunners themselves. And those fools gave their lives…to…me” the last three words were in a different voice, one much deeper and seemingly layered with many more voices.

The same voice spoke, its voice full of ancient malevolence and intelligence, but also of a bestial fury, “This one’s anger is useful, so today’s lesson is the proper way to satisfy khorne.”

With this, Ikaporamee let out a bellowing cry, its sound seemingly breaking the planet in half as the outer walls themselves spider-cracked all over the place, as he did this, it seemed as if the force shrank until it was gone, creating a vacuum, that was not being filled…

“The test of life has been failed, for this your skull shall adorn my lords throne, your blood shall be in the river, and I shall consume your soul.”

The massive bellow had left the tan man slightly dazed, but the fog cleared in time to see a wide swing come from Ikaporamee aimed at his head. He rapidly raised his saber despite the pain. The blow was of such strength that a flashing white light blinded both combatants, but Tin Man simply switched to a different view, while the demon had no need of eyes. The light saber was also forced out of his hands, but he expertly caught it and made a lunge at its throat. Ikaporamee used the same trick as before, but instead followed up with an attack at his exposed wrist…with his second hand wielding another light saber.

Temple:
As Alexus began to use the force, he felt something was terribly wrong, all the bloodshed and violence accostmed to a commando was there, but something far worse resided here, as he began to probe, a mental attack was launched, its one imperative.

KILL!

A tall cloaked figure entered the halls of Castle Night. Withdrawing her hood, she was revealed not to be a large human, but a Zabrak. Her traditional face tatoos were lavender over her forest green skin, and her clothes were worn from travel. Her head was shaved of course, the usual unique pattern of horns encircled her head. A faint scar, perhaps from a burn, was visible when the travel cloak slipped from her slender shoulders. Her youthful face could be considered attractive among her own race, and it was formed into a watchful expression. Glancing about, she appeared to be getting a feel for her surroundings, or possibly surveying for exits. With a renewed countenance of willful determination, she set off for the sounds of battle...

OOC:

Two Forks:

There are currently two "battles" going on. The one closest to your
character takes place in the Castle of Night, home of the Order of
the Moon and Star. In this scene, Alexus (Theao's character) is
playing host to a dinner party of Sangheili commandos. They want
to find their lost comrade, Ikaporamee (Holy Covenant's character)
and an Oracle whom he mentioned (The Tin Man, who really isn't
an Oracle). Naturally, they think that they're so much better than
Alexus that they can threaten his life if he doesn't tell them where
everybody is. They just don't know Alexus very well.

Ikaporamee has left the castle, and moved on to another temple
in the next mountain range (ridge?) over. This is a Sangheili temple,
but the sith have corrupted it. Ika is in trouble. He's gotten ahold
of a sith sword that's all but completely turned him to the Dark Side.
Right now, he and The Tin Man are battling it out, with the stakes
being their lives and Ika's soul. Meanwhile, Nerevar is searching
the underground levels of the temple for the master sith who dwells
within it.

Finally, our arch villain, Darth Vower, a vampire sith (friends call
him D. Vower) who is also known as "the Twitter," was last seen
floating away on the wind after testing the Order's "hospitality"
and being given a nice warm seat in the nearest fire for his
efforts. He's after the Tin Man's blood, in more ways than one!
No telling where he'll crop up again.

So...enjoy.

But neither blade ever found its mark. Rather than trying to dodge or block,
the Tin Man unleashed another attack.

A force field is normally thought of as a defensive weapon, but this need not
be the case. At close range, it can be devastatingly effective--and, at that
point, Ikapamoree and his light sabers were at point blank range.

A glow flared from the center of The Tin Man's chest, and the demon/elite
found it/himself engulfed in a force field. For a moment, its face took on a
contemptuous sneer as its weapon easily penetrated the shield. This turned
to a look of anger as the pain of the shield raced through its/his body and
of consternation as a moment of paralysis set in, giving the Tin Man time
to move out of the thrust.

The Tin Man kicked, and the demon/elite found itself/himself flying back
through the air. It tried to strike out with its second saber, but found
that its light was reflected harmlessly off of the mirror edge of the Tin Man's
Silver Sword. In a moment it/he was flat on its/his back.

The Tin Man laughed.

"Promises, promises," he said. Then, he charged up his plasma cannons
and set them loose on the ceiling. After the third shot, a large slab of
reinforced concrete came loose and tumbled down toward Ikapamoree's
head.

"One good rock deserves another," the Tin Man said, an arrogant grin
playing across his lips.

------------------------

OOC: TTM is still trying to goad Ika into such a frenzy of anger that
he gets sloppy. He still wants Ika to learn to control his temper one way
or another. He's not convinced that Ika could be completely turned against
him in so short a time.

...AND...

...ONE MORE TIME...

...if Ika wants to put TTM in a world of hurt, all he has to do is turn on
his cloaking device...

...like he did when they first met...

OOC: Ikaporamee is still in control to some degree, that’s why he isn’t frenzying. Khorne is the god of blood, war, and anger, can’t get more frenzied than that…
BTW Ika’s soul is…absent. Maybe its gone, maybe its stored away, or maybe it’s just REALLY good at hiding…

Later RP will have him on quest to find/salvage it…

IC: The light sabers left his hands, as if being wielded by a pair of invisible hands. Ikaporamee’s hands waved at the rock, and brought it crashing down upon tin man and the ground breaking this makeshift arena as the ground swallowed them up. The chaos within Ikaporamee’s mind gave him a chance to reassure control over his own body.

“You do not know the rush and joy it brings…to release your anger…let it wash over you, envelop you, but if it consumes you, you die honorably, come on, let it go…”

He pressed a button on his wrist, and went invisible, the shak-like grin was the last thing to go…

The pain…the pain from the tin man was strong enough to push Ikaporamee back into the cell of his mind.

“Know this being, I shall win either way. In victory, khorne shall be pleased and I shall have this host, in death I shall consume this soul and still, be reborn to come back again…”

In the deep recess’s of his mind. Ikaporamee learned of the price for his power. The lack of control, and the loss of his soul…what had he done…

OOC: It's not a very good post, but its a post.

IC: Softly the man approached the ancient building, following his instincts. The message had called out to him, luring him to this strange place; his heart's desire told him he needed to come here. A brown cloak covered his head, hiding everything but his mouth and chin in darkness. Beneath his cloak he wore loose white robes holstered by a belt of black leather.

His skin was a dark brown; his teeth shone white as he grinned at the sense of life around him. At his hip a blaster sat like a predator in its holster of leather. Hazel eyes examined their surroundings from beneath the veil of darkness; black dreadlocks trailed out of the cloak's hood, revealing his secrets.

He wasn't quite sure how he knew to come here or why. He wasn't sure how he knew the castle lay in this particular mountain range on this particular planet. Hell, he wasn't even sure what the castle was DOING here in the middle of nowhere. What was important was that he needed to be here.

Taking a deep breath, he walked up to the castle gates. He heard what sounded like a fight--albeit a small one--somewhere inside. Drawing his blaster he advanced cautiously, watching his surroundings for any sign of trouble.

Taking purposeful strides toward the increasing clamor, Silvara Ptendiristor quickly advanced on the battle. Hovering at the edge of the confusion, she seemed distressed over what to do. Just then, a third gaurd entered though a door. With an air of resignation, she joined into battle, drawing a white saber and crouching into stance as she advanced on him. At first she just circled, to draw attention while she probed his mind. Pathetic weak fool. His mental ability will be no threat. The strange power must be coming from the jedi...But how to attack? I am--not fully recovered. Though loathe to admit it, she was still tired from travel. Suddenly, the gaurd struck, and she made a clumsy parry. Panting heavily, she nodded to the strange man battling alongside her. "Fine day for a fight, is it not, Jedi?" she said, grinning through gritted teeth.

“You do not know the rush and joy it brings…to release your anger…let it wash over you, envelop you, but if it consumes you, you die honorably, come on, let it go…”

IT spoke, and then the elite played the card that The Tin Man knew it
was going to play. It turned on its cloak.

The pain struck instantly. Every nerve left in the Tin Man's body sent
its message of distress. In an ill harmony, they chimed together and
played their ill tune on his mind.

There are those who claim that pain is a bad thing, an indication that
something is wrong; however, there is another school of thought also.
Pain, it is argued, reassures those who feel it that they are still alive.

The cloak was doing its work. The Tin Man was starting to draw close
to a fugue, and, as such, his mind was not the clockwork device that it
normally seemed.

He felt EXHILLERATED!!!! He was UNDENIABLY ALIVE! The pain lent
a new clarity to his fractured perception of the world! It was
EXQUISIT! He LAUGHED!

It was HILARIOUS! The elite's light saber was moving of its own accord!
Ikaporamee was NOT controlling it! It was violating the very principles
upon which this universe was BUILT!

“Know this being, I shall win either way. In victory, khorne shall be pleased and I shall have this host, in death I shall consume this soul and still, be reborn to come back again…”

So...there was something in the sword. It was a revellation!
Even an inanimate object could posess a soul...or be posessed by one.

And this one was too posessive.

In his new state of enlightenment, the Tin Man only barely noticed the
floor giving way beneath him. Those rocks that the elite had been moving
had to come from somewhere, and they couldn't do what they had
done there any longer.

"Idiot!" the Tin Man bellowed, parrying an initial attack with ease. "You
think I've never lost my temper?!?! You think there's ANY honor in dieing a
foolish pawn in someone else's game?!?!

"NOOOO!"

And then the Tin Man struck. The sword came in from above, tempting
him to block just as he landed. Instead, he rebounded and jumped to
his left as it came through. Sparks flew from the saber's hilt as the Silver
Sword struck home.

The demon screamed. Anguished and angered, it tried to club the Tin man.
This time, he parried with the Silver Sword, and the blade reflected back.
Again, he struck the hilt, this time on a riposte. The hilt sank to the ground.

"You said something about anger washing over you, FOOL? Well, wash over
THIS!" The plasma cannons both fired.

The sword rolled out just in time, but not far enough to entirely escape the
wrath of the blast. The ground where it had been erupted, blasting it back
to where the invisible elite stood.

"NOW do you SEE? You can be angry enough to be MOTIVATED, but YOU
must rule your temper. IT cannot rule YOU! You LACK this ability, Khorne!

"You...are...INFERIOR!!!!!!!!"

The plasma cannons charged up again, and, this time, they targeted the
invisible but not unnoticed form of Ikaporamee.

What was that? All at once, she felt a great disturbance from the two men fighting on the other side of the room. Originally, Silvara had assumed the strange power she had felt had belonged to the jedi, but now she was not so sure. She saw the jedi stagger a little. Something very badly is going on over there. That power is so forceful, I must quickly finish my own fight to assist this man. Surely he knows where to find the head of this Castle...he must live. The one she faced may not have great control over the force, but he was an excellent fighter. He swung his saber and she struggled to block it. Come on, Silvara, you must be on the offensive! She swung, a bit too wildly however, and he nearly knocked the saber out of her hand. He did it again, and this time it went flying across the room. Her fingers went numb, and she used her other hand to summon the weapon back. How could she fight in this condition? If she could use the Force she could easily win, but she was so tired that she had to focus almost entirley on the physical aspect of the battle. Her opponent did appear to have one weakness, however: pride. When her saber was knocked from her hand he had hesitated, only for the slightest moment, to gloat at her, she sensed it in his mind. She had one shot to do this, and it would be very dangerous given her less than peak physical state, but it would either win her the battle or cost her her life.

"Kiiiiiiiiiiiii-yah!" Embarrassed at the spectacle she was making of herself, but understanding that she had to distract him as much as possible, she crazily swung her white lightsaber over her head at him. He of course parried, and then knocked her back against the wall with the butt of his own weapon. He stopped only for a moment, simpering in anticipation of the finishing blow, when she reached out her mind...

OOC: umm…two forks…where are you? If you are at the sith temple, I’ll respond next post, if you are at the jedi temple, well it’ll be the same…

Stench: Ah, marcinko’s point of view on pain, same to me too :). BTW, Khorne is the god, this is just a foot soldier in his army…

IC:
Temple of Night:

The stench of sharquoi had come, every sangheili as one activated cloaking and slinked into the recesses and various nooks and crannies, easily out of sight…

Sith temple:

The damage done had weakened its hold, but not its influence...
Do not listen to him, he is weakened, a rat in the corner. Receive khorne’s blessing and finish him...NOW.

NO...you mean to kill HIM. This I CAN NOT do.

He barley had time to shove himself out of the way

“I cannot kill you, but I cannot even touch you. I have failed in the name of the oracles...”

His voice was full of self-loathing at his own weakness.
The weapons clattered to the ground, seemingly deafeningly loud.
He kneeled, his head down,

“Strike me down, I deserve not life in this world, nor paradise in the next. But make sure you do not destroy the weapon, do not free it...”

Inside the weapon, it raged and howled, Ikaporamee winced visibly from the magnitude of voices only he could hear.

“Do it...NOW, before it reasserts itself!”

OOC: I have a way to bring him back if you decide to kill him(for later usage). But...its up to you...

As the cloak dropped, the pressure on the Tin Man's nervous
system ended, and his mind became what it had been before.
He lowered his weapon, but kept up his guard.

"You gave me responsibility over you," he said, "even when
I told you that I was no oracle. I do not take this lightly.

"It is not my way to kill out of hand."

"But I have failed," the elite resonded. "Strike me down!
Preserve my honor."

"Redeem yourself," the Tin Man countered. "Defeat the
creature within the sword."

"I cannot! It cannot be defeated!"

The Tin Man's face sunk.

"It's over, Khorne. No Sangheili elite would ever--."

It struck again. The Tin Man parried, but the blow
carried such force that it knocked him off his balance.

A Sangheili is unlike a man in many ways. One of these
is that its hips more resemble those of a bird than
those of a quadruped. Because of this, they can spring
from the ground far more quickly than their human
counterparts.

That's what Khorne/Ikaporamee did--knocking the Tin
Man off his feet and onto the ground. In the
concussion of the fall, the Tin Man's lightsaber fell
from his left hand.

"No matter, human weakling," Khorne said, raising its sword.
"I will defeat you now and claim your soul!"

"I am not human," the Tin Man retorted. To press
the point, he brought his left hand up and extended the
arm--lengthening it a full half a meter, and brought it
in to clutch the lightsaber in the elite's powerful right.

The sword glowed red. As it did, he could feel the
turmoil in Ikaporamee's mind spilling over into his own.

And he could feel Khorne. It was a monolithic, irredeemable
evil. The Tin Man had never experienced anything like it
before. And it led him to his second revelation: not all
creatures could be turned. Some simply had to be stopped.

In the moment before his consciousness turned inside of
itself, the Tin Man was able to communicate with his
unwitting student. He sent a message.

"Let's fight this monster together, friend!"

And it was then that the realization came to him: the
next round of this battle was to be fought
someplace where the Tin Man had never been: the
spiritual realm.

He hoped that he and Ikaporamee could find each other.

=====================

OOC: It's against the Tin Man's religion to kill. He
hasn't done it yet, and he's not going to go out of his
way to do it in the future...but...there are times when
any policy is subject to exception. :) :) :) Khorne,
beware!

I'd like to use one part of this next round, btw, as a sort
of a character introduction. In it, each character will
have the opportunity to experience the other character's
life through his own eyes, as he remembers it. This
way, they'll come out of the round knowing each other
extremely well.

OOC: Do you want Ikaporamee’s history? Now I need to make that up...
BTW, will you send what you want to be seen(TG or otherwise)...or...I make up? Good thing this is only a blood letter, khorne would own us so badly(it’d be like god fighting a lady bug)...

Sh’rai’oyik’waoh is going to do his best, but I think hes gonna die...

IC: Ikaporamee knew now, strength and fury were not enough to win the battle, with skill, the Tan man had held off and beaten the beasts blows. It wasn’t just a balance, but to now a time when to release or withhold was the path to victory...

For once is his blood filled life, Ikaporamee found piece as he felt the being withdraw. It was but a moment as he was yanked to the other side, but Sh’rai’oyik’waoh was not taking them at random, no, they would fight in the realm of its lord, the battle would end in the warp...

The vast expanse was bleak and desolate looking. Fireballs rained from the sky, blood ran in rivers. The ground seemed to move, but it wasn’t moving, only shifting, for the “ground” was a vast expanse of skulls, each grinning in death. The air was filled with the electric smell of blood.

The sangheili whipped his head around, panic rising at the abandonment from the tin man and the cruel entity itself...

To be alone here forever would be hell...

Temple:
A small spike pricked the elite(in case you don’t know what sangheili means)’s neck, delivering a small jolt. This roused him from the blackness, his eyes were angry, but still confused as he was regaining his focus on the being in front of him...Who was flanked by three others. The blades were hissing in the air, “One-who-looks-like-sharquoi, we are eager to spill blood, but it is not necessary, do not make it so...Go to the other sharquoi over there.” The sangheili was pointing were alexus’s door was, which was currently empty...

The other guard(at the door theo) hadn’t left, but wasn’t in visible(or invisible) sight, but he was nearby...

A fireball from the sky came straight towards Ikapamoree. Feeling the
death he longed for finally upon him, he stretched out his arms, gathering
its warmth as it closed in.

Let the Prophets claim...

It was with mild surprise that the elite watched the fireball stop in mid air,
hovered a few feet away from him, and condensed into the shape of a man.

He was nothing--neither young nor old, neither fat nor thin. The only
personalizing mark about him was, again, not what was present, but what
was absent: there was not a single hair to be seen anywhere on his body.
His pale green shirt and pants fit neither loose nor tight.

In a moment, the glow faded and he opened his eyes.

"Ikapamoree," he said, and the elite knew him from his voice.

"Tin Man," he replied mirthlessly.

"Quickly," the sharquoi said, "what can you tell me about this place?"

-----------------------------------------------

OOC: Wish I could get TTM back from the temple and have him interact
with the rest of the characters there, but duty calls.

Can someone write a scene or two where Nerevar goes into the bowels
of the temple and encounters Darth Vower, the Master Sith who has been
masquerading as an Apprentice Sith, in its center? We need to clean up
that plot line.

Darth Vower (or D. Vower, as he prefers to refer to himself) :) :) :) is,
of course, "the Twitter" from previous posts.

And now Nerevar is on HIS home turf.

Since Taledonia, who invented Nerevar, has left this thread, I'd like to
handle this plot line in a round robin sort of way. That way, we all get
some practice with the character.

Nerevar is going to eventually pass on the great secret of the Order of the
Moon and Star to someone before he himself passes on...so we'd better
get used to writing for his character. He won't be doing this to the Tin
Man--my freelance editing hobby is starting to make things a *tad* hectic
for me back IRL. I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to stick around
m'self.

A man entered castle Night, he was short for a human, only about 5'6. The thing that most stood out about him was his white-silver hair, it hung about his shulders and reflected light well, so it appeared to glow. His facial features were soft and smooth looking, his lips thin, a small pointed nose, and green, almost almond-like eyes. His left eye had a silver mote in his pupil. His face aside, he wore a grey shoulder cape, which was riddled with patches and holes, that was very faded. Under that, he wore the Grey Knights uniform. A tight fitting grey shirt, with leather shoulder pauldrons. He wore baggy pants, tied at the bottom with twine, as not to restrain his movement. He wore grey shoes, that didn't really stand out, but seemed odd in some way, they just didnt belong.

He smiled, flashing white teeth, and looked at his surroundings. "That strange power... it emits from this planet like it is stained here, as if some very powerful Force artifcact, or sith Holocron is somewhere here." He began contemplating this, but was rudely interrupted by the soudns of battle. Focusing his power, his hearing was amplified, and he ran towards the sounds he heard.

Looking around wildly in astonishment, she noticed one of the corners of the room was shimmering slightly, almost as if it was...A training room? And yet it seemed so real. I cannot believe I was fooled. That explains why the opponent I was fighting did not appear force-sensitive, I had wished for any opponents to be so when I entered here. I suppose the jedi already had the program initiated long before I came. The technologies and equipment in this place are fantastic! So modern, yet so discreet. Yet another reason I must see the head of the Castle.

"Jedi! Pardons for my foolishness before. I failed to see you were in no danger, that you were merely training. I admire your dedication. My name is Silvara Ptendiristor, a Zabrak of some repute on my homeworld. May I inquire as to who you are and anything you may know about the head of this Castle Night? Or perhaps, if you do not wish to do so, may I have the courteousy of a name to call you by?

Almost forgotten amid the death and violence that reigned above, a
bearded man wearing Jedi robes strode the passages in the bowels of
the Sith temple. Occasionally pausing to point a finger at a door that
would slide open in front of him or a trap that would then spring
prematurely and miss him, he made his way to the center of the lowest
underground level.

Though the upper levels seemed to be constructed of primative materials,
the lowest level was really quite modern. Power conduits ran along
shiny white walls and a lighting system would have kept the passageways
well lit had it been active. As it was, the man lit his way with a
light saber that he carried.

Though he had never been in the temple before, he seemed calm as he
strode slowly through it, as if he knew precisely where he was going.

After a while, the noise above faded, yet the man continued on his
march, as if he could sense that his two compatriots above were still
alive, though embattled.

BUMP in the temple.
BUMP in the spirit world.

Need to get out of those places 'cause there are some elites lookin'

Alexus... The name sounded strange and foreign as she rolled it around on her tongue, weighing each syllable carefully. "Again, I am Silvara. May I be so forward as to say that it is nice to make your aquantince?" She paused, then sighed. "Enough formalities, this is tiring. I need information. The whereabouts of the head of the castle, about this training room, what you ate for breakfast this morning, anything to get my mind off my fatigue and onto my mission. Please, help me."

OOC: Am I supposed to get some kind of introductory post, or do I just keep going after my Character intro?

OOC:

Just keep going. I'll try to help as much as possible after I extricate Nerevar
from the Sith Temple.

Nerevar is the guy who's in charge of The Order of the Moon and Star. The
person who made him up turned him over to us and left to do other sims.
He wrote that he wouldn't mind if Nerevar taught a promising student what
it would take to be the leader of the Order of the Moon and Star and then
passed on to the Nether Region of the Force.

That promising student won't be my character. I've got some business to
tend to IRL. I edit novels as a hobby and I just got asked to do an ebook
for www.marthatucker.com. It's going to take a LITTLE BIT of my time.
:) :) :) In fact, it already is.

"I meant what is a Zabrak?" Alexus replied, "As to your other questions, the head is somewhere outside the castle, this training room is what I was practicing in, and what I had for breakfast was a bowl of oatmeal."

Kaal ran into the training room, although the sounds of battle had stopped, he was wondering what the hell was going on. He saw the two warriors standing face to face speaking, a zabrak, and a human. The room had the scars of battle, one being the door gone. But, no dead bodies or injuries on either, only sweat. Kaal was confused and he knew when he was confused, there was only one thing to say.

"Uhh...."

IC: Ikaporamee did not waste time in his state, his words were fast and he seemed not to breath for fear of not being able to speak afterwards...

“The beast, this is its prison, it waits here for freedom, so many gifts denied to it for whatever wrong it did against its lord. But now, it has broken these chains is seeking the material realm. It is an avatar of war, hate, and pain, it will take great martial prowess, but it is more bestial than skilled. It has the raw power to manipulate these surroundings, but it is...” He froze as a massive shape descended... “coming...” His voice icy and cool, as if waiting for this moment...

The skulls were crushed underneath the massive iron hooves. The Flesh was a darkened red, much like coagulated blood. The muscles were thick and powerful, its hands easily the size of a stout mans chest, gripped a huge metal axe. Its other hand held a whip made of iron, it seemed to twist with its own life. The massive wings pumped visible black ichor that served as its blood. The Wolfhish face was filled with teeth and a jutting jaw, two curved horns seemingly carved from ivory adorned its head. Its chest was covered by a massive leather armor. All over was the mark of khorne, skulls, and fresh blood seeming to seep from no wounds...

The ground itself warped and screamed at its steps, steam rose from the foot prints and its breath, the ground and mouth glowed like a furnace.

Its voice was metallic sounding, much like blood itself, while it had a fiery melody to it...

“Ahhh, you are this...oracle...the host has talked about? Hmmm, it is appropriate that he was mistaken, as he was in so many things...”

The beast was not approaching, instead it was circling, much like a predator...

Ugh...more sharquoi...I'm gonna enjoy finishing this mission...

ooc: i hope you know what im talking about because this will be difficult to explain in character. darth maul was a zabrak, if that helps. you'll know what im talking about if youve ever read some of the books or played star wars galaxies.

"What is...a Zabrak?" said Silvara, astonished. "I hope you jest--yet I can feel you are not. For the most part we are a tall racecompared to your kind, we have horns and hair on our heads though the latter is usually shaved. The markings you see on my face are tatooed, most Zabraks do get a unique pattern permanentley marked on theirselves. Generally we are similar to human kind, we have the same features, we speak Common ect. Now, about that oatmeal, I am very tired so do you think I could-" she stopped abrubtly. "Someone is coming," she said. Alexus nodded. Apparently he had just felt someone approach as well.

"Uhh..." said a tall, gray figure who had just entered the room. He appeared confused. Alexus and Silvara gawked for a moment.

"Who are you?" asked Silvara? "Are you the head of the Castle? And do you know where I can find some oatmeal?"

"You disappoint me, Khorne," the Tin Man replied. "One
would think that a god of war would have some respect
for a being who could go toe-to-toe with him for
even a short time."

"Don't goad him, you old fool," came a voice from
nearby.

The Tin Man's eyes widened in surprise.

"Theodore," he said.

Khorne took a step back, and sent a shower of steaming
debris down on the Tin Man from the spot where his
hoof had touched the ground. His head spun until he
eyed a misty shape that stood behind Ikaporamee.

"Coward!" The war god spit the word out as much as
said it. "Show yourself!"

Behind the elite, he appeared.

He was a strong but thinly-built man with a mane
of golden hair and piercing aqua-blue eyes. He
seemed old as men go, but somehow ageless. He
stood hand on hip, but seemed to carry no weapon.

"I'm no coward, war god," he replied.

"Theodore!" said the Tin Man. "It's good to see
you!" He took a step toward his old friend.

Immediately, the man's image became transparent.

"Don't get too close," came a woman's voice from
behind him.

As everyone watched, a woman's form appeared
just a little more distant from the Tin Man
as Theodore had been, but on the other side.
She seemed almost insubstantial, such a whisp
she was. Her body gave little clue that she
would be able to do anything but cower and
flee from one such as Khorne--and then she
moved. The simple, sure-footed grace with
which she walked across the broken ground,
settling her black-clad body a bit farther
back, bespoke the balance and poise of an
experienced fighter.

"Miriam!" the Tin Man said.

"And these would be your lackeys," Khorne
said.

"No," the Tin Man replied, "just friends
and former students."

Kharn laughed a vile, evil laugh. "I shall
claim you all," he said with a chuckle.

The Tin Man smiled. "You just keep making
those promises, don't you?" he asked.
