Today the US parliament has passed a law annexing the island of New Ireland into the United States of the South Pacific.
The vote occurred after 5 hours of debate in which it was decided that due to New Ireland's lack of resources and inability to support themselves, the South Pacific would take the island and its inhabitants in.

Warta Endor supports the nation of South Pacific in its annexation of New Ireland. If SP needs any support Warta Endor will gladly give it.

The South Pacific's governor disignate for New Ireland arrived on the island today via chartered helicopter along with his staff.
He is scheduled to take a tour of the island and to meet with locals to find out their needs.
In other news, The United States welcomes the support of our friends in Warta Endor. The President stated his hopes that the nations could be a force for freedom and democracy in the world.
