Taledonia

Since the Deatharon Empire and the Antaran Hegemony rejoined the Republic, agreements had been made, and to honour those agreements, a single Taledonian destroyer was enroute towards the Gaian homeworld to discuss the possibility of a treaty and to ensure that when Deatharon promised aid against the Dark Eternals, that the Gaians would recieve the full support from the Republic.
"Ambassador Lock," came the voice of a man in military uniform standing at the doorway to the Ambassador's room, "We have arrived outside Gaian territory and are hailing them now. Captain Moris requests your presence on the bridge."
Ambassador Lock stood up from his chair. He was about in his mid fourties, and showed it. His fatigued body stood 5'8, and was adorned in a standard diplomatic toga. His brown hair, or what was left of the brown, intermingled with the gray.
"Very well," Lock said with a sigh.
Following the ensign to the bridge, he felt a bit nervous as to whether or not they would be accepted by the Gaians. Entering the door, he greeted the Captain.
"Good morning Captain Moris," came the soft old voice.
Moris turned and looked at the ambassador, "There are no mornings in space Mr. Lock."
Lock replied, "All the same, I like to stay on the clock. Have you sent a transmission to the Gaians yet?" he asked.
Turning back around to once again look out the window, Moris answered the man's question, "Not yet, we were waiting for your arrival. Lieutenant, send the transmission." he finished.
"Yes, Captain." came a voice from one of the many men on the bridge.
The transmission read,
