OOC: ALl those with peaceful RP intended may post if you wish, as with the last thread, I would like no hostilites as of yet.

It had been several days before they reached the planet that the ones of Chaos had provided. It had been a very arduous journey, and very draining on those who had to constantly put in new coordinates.

The toll was taken on the ships as well. Out of the around 650 ships, one had been lost due to engine overload, killing mostly Earth caste members, and another ship was lost while jumping, never to be seen again.

But finally they had reached their destination. Slowly the ships prepared to land, their landing sequences being warmed up, after never being used for so long, and thankfully, all ships had their landing cycle in working order.

Gradually, all ships descended into the atmosphere of the lush world, in an area of plains, next to a large lake, and forested hills. The ships were scattered over several miles, as they disembarked and scouted the surrounding land, taking in the wildlife and resources that would be used to sustain life for centuries to come.

The world was located in a binary star system, meaning it had two stars that orbited each other, while the other seven planets orbited them. There was one green gas giant the size of Jupiter, and several rocky, mineral rich worlds. There were only two habitable planets, one was where the Tau currently were, a world of much diversity, like Earth, the other world a barren desert-scape, with oxygen some how in the atmosphere.

This was the system and world they were looking for, a good foundation for a future empire. Over the next few months, the Tau would dismantle most of the transport ships, and use them to create small towns and cities dotting the plains. The Earth caste members would start to construct everything a town and city needed, housing, commerce buildings, one large military base, water ways, farms and anything else essential to support growth. The Air caste would use small fighters made from the transport ships to scout the land, making sure they get every aspect of the world in their eyes. The water caste would make sure that all the other castes worked in unison, for the greater good, as well as being merchants and starting the new economy. The Fire caste would start to make sure the world was secure, and get familiar with the ground around them, making themselves ready to repel anything that might threaten this new world. Finally, the single Etheral, Aun Shi’Tzu, would assume command of this new kingdom, overseeing all, to make this world a perfect haven.

All this, within the coming months, and was immediately started.

It was a routine exploration mission for the Star Jumper, a Taledonian destroyer, but it would prove to be an exciting one.

"Captain," came an ensign on the bridge of the vessel, "Our scans of the area have finished, with interesting results. It appears that on one of the two habitable planets on the system, a large group of ships has landed and begun what looks to be a colonisation effort. Your orders, Captain?"

Captain Fors turned from the window he was staring out, "Interesting, a civilisation. Do we know who they are?"

"No Captain, scans of their ships have revealed that we have never met them or come into contact with them in the past. They aren't on our databanks. But they appear to be human life forms." reported the ensign.

Fors thought for a moment, "Bring the ship to the planet and land close by to the rest of the ships. Let's see what's going on down there."

The ensign saluted, "Yes, sir." he then turned to go and give the order.

Sliding through space at full impulse power, the Star Jumper moved ever closer to the planet. It would arrive in a few minutes, and this new civilisation would be contacted.

Entering the planets atmosphere, the Star Jumper landed at the coordiantes given by the escorts. Opening the doors of the ship, thousands of soldiers moved out along with armored units to make a perimeter around the ship. Behind them came Captain Fors, riding on an Imperial Walker.
He looked out at the people, "Who is your leader?"

Alarms and sirens had sounded. Firewarriors had geared up, the more veteran warriors jumped into their XV8 crisis suits, and XV88 Broadside suits. Multiple fighters were launched to meet the vessel in the atmosphere.

"Aun'sho'tzu, there has been a ship spotted heading towards us." Shas'o Kass reported to Tzu.

"Is that what all that ruckus is? Why are you taking up arms? Have they shown hostilities? Fired weapons? A big ship?" retorted the Aun.

"No.. they have not, but we must take precaut-"

"No, stand down the crisis and broadside teams, leave only a few fighters to escort the ship in, and have a cadre of Firewarriors meet me outside of my office, to escort me to the ship, so I may meet them."

Dutifully, the Shas'o complied. "Yes, exalted one."

As the Aun stepped out, he was met by geared up, clean pressed warriors clad in their usual tan armor, the single red eye in the helmet gleaming in the light.

The warriors surrounded the Aun, and escorted him to the place the fighters would tell the ship to land.

Five fighters zoomed up towards the incoming ship, their weapon systems armed, but not locking on. One of the ships transmitted a signal in all known languages.

"Please land at these coordinates." And then they sent proper coordinates, by the military base under construction, and a bit aways from the main city, which was still mostly small shacks and tents.

After a few weeks, the cruiser group that had met the Tau was tasked to see how they were doing. The sensors picked up the Taledonians and moved into an overwatch position.

OOC:Teladonia... ya ninja posted me... heh, reread my post, then try and tweak yours, if you would please.

A makeshift antennae array was set up to recieve possible communications from beings in space, aswell as their half of the hemisphere.

"This is command. We wonder who asks."

Message from Tau command.
We are doing well. All resources we could need are present, ample life and land to feed and grow on, and a nice climated planet.

A ship has come to us recently, and we are currently dealing with it.

A cruiser had been tracking the Tau to their newly-found world, and was preparing to exit TrueSpace, slowly, as so to not alarm the Tau, while constantly broadcasting their presence.

This, they decided, was the best way to calm any fears.

The trio of battlecruisers that had been shadowing the colony fleet dropped from Outside into normal space. Their entry signatures could not be mistaken. In cloak, however, the battlecruisers manuvered away from their entry point. They shadowed, observing. They had noted the alarm spreading through the Tau ships earlier, however, the alarm had subsided. The battlecruisers were in the clear.

The battlecruisers also noticed the presence of an Enemy cruiser, and began to power up their weaponry. The Enemy Cruiser was foolish, broadcasting its presence so. They slunk around the system, shadowing and listening, awaiting their chance to strike.

Seeing the presence of all the troops disembarking, the Tau could not just let them mass their numbers so close to their cities.

Already active Crisis suit teams and Broadside teams surrounded the ship and it's inhabitants, the broadsides training their heavy railguns at the ship from an extreme distance, aswell as their missile pods. The XV8 crisis suits situated themselves much closer, within 200m of the ship and the soldiers, along with multiple cadres of firewarriors and a few stealthsuit teams. They were ready to utterly destroy the enemy, should they be dumb enough to make any sudden moves.

The firewarriors around the Aun tightened up, extremely uneasy about their leader being so close to so many troops.

"I am the leader.", he spoke aloud, "Why do you need so many troops out and about? It could be seen as an act of hostilities."

As the alien race took aim at the ship and the men, so did the shocktroopers raise their blasters at the aliens, ready to destroy them all.

"Stand down!" shouted Fors, "It is a standard security precaution, I am sorry. I'm Captain Fors of the Taledonian ship Star Jumper. We we're on a standard exploration mission when we came across your ships on our scans. It is our intention to open up possible diplomatic treaties and perhaps even bring you into the Republic that we ourselves are apart of."

He exited the walker and walked over to the human, waiting for a response.

The battlecruisers took note of events on the planet, and one dropped cloak just long enough to drop a gunboat. The battlecruiser remained in cloak, weaving with the other two as they approached the Hyperspatial cruiser.

The single gunboat entered the atmosphere on the nightside of the planet, but did not land. It hovered 400 meters in the air, moving around the planet to the gathering of Tau and Taledonian soldiers.

The five superiority fighters that had guided the cruiser in now launched themselves at the gunboat, their weapons armed and locked onto the the ship obviously was intended by the creators to cause harm, because it had weapons.

"Attention unknown ship. Leave this space, or be fired upon. We repeat, leave this space or be fired upon."

Meanwhile in the ground, a Tau Shas'ui(Like a squad leader), signified by his white helmet, instead of the normal tan, stepped infront of the Aun as the commander approached.

"Please do not step any closer."

The Aun behind him nodded in acknowledgment.

"Forgive the security, but you must understand when an unknown ship breaks into our atmosphere and then lands many troops, we are cautious. If you would please send atleast most of them back in, we will stand down some of ours."

He made it so he could be seen a bit better.

"In responce to your extension of your olive branch. We have no wish to join any republics, or fall under rule of another. But we would be more than happy to create peace treaties, and exchange information, all for peace, Captian Fors. Oh, you may aslso call me, Aun'Sho'Tzu."

The gunboat took note of the fighters, and transmitted a burst message.

"My mission is to know what is transpiring between your leaders."

The gunboat twisted rapidly, spinning on its long axis. It spun steadily upwards, then ceased spinning and accelerated. The black shape lunged forwards towards the gathering of troops and leaders that was the greeting process.

A second gunboat joined it, the battlecruiser in orbit dropping cloak for a split second to launch it. They both rocketed towards the meeting, slowing as they neared it. As they slowed, they began to spin on their axis again, like a rifle bullet.

The fighters closed in and gave chase.

From their chins, burst cannons slowly started to rotate, then let loose a hail of pulse shots. Missiles that were already locked on fired, totaling ten heavy missiles at the first gunboat.

The fighters then split up, three went after the first gunboat with burstcannons blazing, two went after the second gunboat.

Broadside teams that were facing the oncoming gunboats took a big gamble. They aimed their heavy rail guns at the incoming contacts, and lead the targets based on their speed and trajectory. They to let loose their own torrent of solid slugs flying at super speeds, all thanks to extremely powerful magnets. There were a total of 8 suits, each hefting 4 seperate railgun barrels, making it a total of 34 rail shots, one half shot at the first gunboat, the second half shot at the 2nd.

It was a big gamble as railguns weren't supposed to engage fast moving air targets, but they were heading straight towards them, so it was much easier to aim a linier path, than a 3D path.

Seeing the gunboats coming in, Fors pressed a button on his bracer which teleported him back onto the bridge of the Star Jumper.

"Get us out of here, we don't have permission to engage any targets. We'll come back later to check up on the people and make a deal then. Get us out, now!"

Firing a few turbo lasers at the two gunboats, the ship took off and started heading away, ready to make a jump back to Taledonian space. Once out of orbit, they activated the energy drives and in 2 seconds they appeared just outside Taledonian space, ready to go back to spacedock.

The gunboats' armor and point defense saved them from the ravages of the missiles and the bullets, only to be shreadded by the turbolasers and railgun rounds. The flaming wreckage hurtled to the ground.

Near the cloaked Battlecruisers, a Carrier appeared in normal space from Outside.

"We do not wish to attack you, we wish simply to engage in diplomatic measures. We do not posess an unarmed ship, however, so a gunboat is the smallest threat we can muster. We mean no harm."

Forty gunboats spat from the carrier, hurtling towards the planet. The trio of battlecruisers took covering positions in relation to the carrier, but did little else.

The gunboats roared into the atmosphere, scanning for a suitable platform to land on.

"Stand them down! This is an extreme act of agression! Recall all your forces, or this will be seen as an act of war, and will be reacted to as such! If you *Must* communicate with us, send down a ship stripped of all weapons and armor plating! Now stand down!"

The fighters landed and reqeuipped quickly, and then took off again, ready to do what they could. All armed forces were acticated, Hammerheads armed with missile launchers, ion cannons, or rail guns aimed towards the sky. Firewarriors grabbed what little amount of rail rifle technology rifles they could, and the XV8 and XV88 suits aimed, ready to defend their newly found land.
