"So what's the plan Admiral?" Helen Juxton, Prime Minister of Xessmithia, asked of Fleet Admiral Janice Elliot.

"As you know this war is huge in scope and we want to make this as easy on ourselves as possible. As such our strategists suggest a series of quick assaults designed to cripple as much of the Empire's military infrastructure as possible." Elliot activated the holo-display and a series of worlds appeared. "These are the targets that ONI has deemed most critical," She pointed to them in sequence, "That one is Kuat, the next is Telti, the second last is Rothana and the last is Kamino."

Juxton nodded, "A major shipyard, a droid manufacturer, a supplier and designer of military vehicles and their primary cloning facility."

"That's right Ma'am. ONI suggests that Kuat or Rothana would be the best target."

"Um." Juxton mumbled. She was silent for a moment, "What do you think is the best target Janice?"

"I think Kamino is the best choice Helen. Their hardware is important but it's useless without their clones to run it."

"Then that's where we'll attack. Assemble a force you deem necessary."

Elliot nodded and turned to leave but Juxton stopped her, "Janice we don't want to capture Kamino. We want it gone," Juxton paused for a second, "I think it's time we showed the universe just what the Nightingale can do."

Elliot looked out at her forces assembling far above Shilo from the flag bridge of the mighty star dreadnaught XNV Nightingale.

Assembled here was the strongest fleet ever constructed by Xessmithia. Flanking the Nightingale were half-a-dozen star battleships which were themselves escorted by a pair of star battlecruisers and a quarter-score of star cruisers each.

A dozen star destroyer squadrons were positioned all around the core formation of the large ships, while hundreds of star frigates ran point for them.

Not to be outdone by their larger brethren 600 Valiant-class cruisers flitted throughout the formation. They were there to provide an extra layer of point defense and anti-fighter fire for the fleet.

There were two squadrons of old Halo-class Fleet Carriers to provide fighter support for the fleet.

Soon Elliot thought, all that firepower would head towards Kamino. Their enemies didn't stand a chance.

The eleven-hundred and seventeen ships of Third Fleet/GFFA division were preparing to jump to Kamino. In mere moments the largest assault ever undertaken by the Xessmithian Navy would begin. Its purpose; to reduce the surface of Kamino to molten slag.

Fleet Admiral Elliot sat straight in her command chair. Reports from all squadrons of the fleet were coming in, the fleet was ready. She activated her fleet wide comm, "You know the drill people. Primary targets are any super-capital ships such as Executors or Eclipses, they pose the largest thread to this fleet. Your job is to keep their escorts busy while the Nightingale finishes them off. Secondary targets are FTLi generators and communications arrays.

"Assault fighter squadrons are to begin immediate assault on Kamino itself while the strike fighters provide cover. Once we've dealt with the super-capitals the Nightingale and the battleships will join in.

"Good luck people. God speed and good hunting" Elliot finished and the fleet jumped to hyperspace, it would arrive at Kamino in 7 hours.

I wonder how much energy it takes to run an FTLi field that big? Elliot thought idly. "Are we approaching the merhant fleet position?"

"Yes Ma'am we'll have intercept in ten minutes. They haven't altered their vector yet so they either haven't spotted us or think their escort will protect them."

Elliot nodded at her tactical officer's reply. The merhantmen and their escorting Star Destroyers had dropped out of hyperspace to make a course correction to avoid a nearby black hole. According to ONI that meant that this fleet was heading to Kamino.

"Prepare the tractors to hold the merhcantmen we don't want them going anywhere yet. Target the escorts with everything we've got. They won't last more than a single broadside."

"Aye Ma'am." The tac officer acknoweldged, he sent out the appropriate orders and awaited for the engagment to begin.

Xess, you're going to have to wait a while for me to post. Too many people are attacking me and demanding my OOC and IC time, you're just going to have to wait.

Oh and incidently, Kaminos cannot be reduced to molten slag, its all water.....

Thirdly, planet destroying is something you need to talk to me about OOCly, otherwise I'll break out the wank destroyer Galaxy Gun and start shooting out your planets before you even know what's happening.
