Calpe

Following the decision of the Grey Council to upgrade its defences, the Protector program was initiated. It consists in an upgrade of the previous G.O.D. platform used to defend calpian planets. First phase of the plan will take 3 cycles, and the cost of 12 trillion will be splited in that amount of time. The tests done on the first platforms showed the figures displayed below.

type: G.O.D. Defense System
length: 480 meters
mass: 9.3 million metric tons
power: 1 Quantum Singularity
weapon:
1 Particle Beam cannon (1,5 million terrawats maximum safe output; 2,4 million terrawats maximum self-destruct output)
3 Pulse Cannons
60 Long-Range Fusion Missiles (20 megaton each)
72 Short-Range Fusion Missiles (50 kiloton each)
3 Mk.II Interceptor cannons
1 Flack Cannon
defence:
300 centimeters regenerative armored hull
DS-12 energy shield
The Protector is the enhanced variant of the GOD platform. It is 20% longer, with a 16% more mass, and the quantum singularity replaced the fusion reactors and can now provide the energy for the cannon to reach a destructive output of 2 million terrawats safely. The maximum output is 3,5 million terrawats, but this level of power would destroy the platform upon firing. If firing at up to 500,000 terrawats output, the rest of the energy weapons are operational between recharge time. Missile launchers operational at all times, even when system is recharging after firing the main gun at higher output.
2 million terrawats - recharge of 1 minute (secondary energy weapons down)
1 million terrawats - recharge of 30 seconds (secondary energy weapons down)
500,000 terrawats - recharge of 20 seconds (secondary energy weapons operational)
100,000 terrawats - recharge of 3 seconds (secondary energy weapons operational)
Price: 30 billion cr. per platform
The plan of deployment is for the 2 most important planets, with an average of 200 platforms per planet. Total cost is estimated to 12 trillion credits, and the duration of the program implementation is 3 years. Additional defence platforms of Protector Class are possible to be implemented on other planets in the future.
