OOC: FT nation needed for RP.
I'm planning to bring Emmitia from an MT nation into an FT nation. As that would take many, many, many, many years to do, I'm looking for something to jumpstart the tech.
I was thinking maybe the Emmitians could get ahold of an FT nation's technology, maybe a space vessel of theirs was damaged and crashed into Emmitian soil, or maybe they launched a small-scale invasion which was eventually pushed back, leaving all of this surplus equipment the Emmitians could reverse-engineer.
Can any FT nations help out?

I would, but I use original technology and it's pretty uber so I wouldn't be interested in sharing it. Plus I don't want to explain how everything works.
I'd be interested in the crashed ship idea, with a few minor alterations. My version would be a ship was carrying a important person, we come to rescue him, and you try and blackmail us. Doing a reverse engineer of my tech would take nearly as long as developing it your self.

Also that idea is basicly you picking up the media reports of the acigoo crisis (gonna bring you into FT in rocky territory) offer to help but along the way you take advantage of discarded and abandoned equipment and bases.

That sounds good. Where do I sign up for the acigoo thing? How do I get troops there without being FT? Would you say that the RP is too far advanced (it looks like about five or six pages, if I remember correctly) to join in?

And to join you can simply just pick up the news reports, offer assistance and send in forces. And the acigoo can be delt with via MT means but with lots of force. And yes I am based on Earth and this incident is occuring on Earth.
