The Vengeance was soon skimming through the atmosphere of Earth; as there was no planetary control for incoming vessels, there was no need to waste time on gaining permission to land. Within minutes, the Vengeance had slammed down in a hasty and rough landing just outside of Coredia. Kil hurriedly activated the ship's autonomous self-defense routines and donned his cortosis-weave body armor before sprinting off towards the city, with HK-47 close behind, in search of his prey.

In the hustle and bustle of getting ready for invasion, the armory was the first to be cleaned out. For the droid, grenades and heavy blasters were passed out to some members. For the Sith, the available Jedi (which were few at the moment) were readying counterattack plans, especially if they brought an army in. The Professor was sent to a secure location for the duration of the fight and surrounded by ANBU members sent by Tsunade. And the Chief began downloading his software into the Jedi Academy Archives on Jurai, just in case. In short, nothing was left untouched with defense plans against the Sith. Even a fleet was brought in orbit just in case. When we plan things, even on short notice, we plan well.
Kristi glares at her datapad. "Isn't there just some way to make this display in Mirfakan?" "Chief, watashi est owarios to cil! Repios watashi!" ("Chief, I'm talking to you! Answer me!")

"Sir? A ship has just landed within our airspace." A young agent reported to me.
I thought it over for a second. "I'll check it out. Where?"
"Southern Quadrant of the Mountains."
"Right." I closed my eyes and in a second, disappeared in a flash of white smoke.
I reappeared on a tall tree, looking down. I smirked. So, it's that bounty hunter who's stalking me...

Some time later, Kil was mingling in the street-side crowds of Coredia. He and HK looked rather out of place, and received a lot of questioning stares, but the crowd itself was so thick that it negated their "odd" appearances. Keeping in mind that McNeil liked ramen stands, Kil kept an eye out for such a restaurant.

Grinning, I hopped from roof to roof, following the easily followable twosome. There was a ramen restaurant up ahead, and I decided that there would be a good place to 'meet' them. Just had to make sure that collateral damage is kept to a bare minimum.

Entering the ramen stand, Kil wordlessly pushed his way past the woman seating customers at the front, and sought an booth seat in the back corner, where he would not be visible to someone entering from the front.
"Disturbing Revelation: Master, the McNeil meatbag is not present at this establishment."
"...He's close, HK."
"Query: How can you tell, Master?"
"I just...can."
Kil was not Force-sensitive, but had spent much of his life around Dark Jedi. He had developed a sort of sixth-sense type of precognition, though its relation to his presence around so many Dark Jedi was questionable. At any rate, it had served him well on bounty hunting jobs, and he had learned not to question it.
He sat in the booth, his DL-44s close at hand, and situated himself such that anyone would approached the booth would see HK first, not himself. HK had likewise activated his autonomous hunting routines. But instead of remaining in the booth, HK set off into the back rooms of the restaurant, presumably to use himself as a trump card and surprise McNeil if he somehow got the upper hand. Kil exhaled, and steeled himself. There was something about McNeil he didn't like...
[OOC: I'd prefer Kil not die on this, if at all possible. If not, hey, he dies.]

Shit! I knew there was something wrong with this guy!
Kil planted his two feet on the back of the booth, orienting himself towards the bar, and shoved off as hard as he could. As he flew, he squeezed off more blasterfire, aimed in McNeil's general direction, mere suppression fire. He doubted he'd hit McNeil, or hit anyone, for that matter, but it'd give him something to deal with. The lightning sizzled past Kil as he flew, narrowly missing his chest. Kil landed in a roll that brought him up near the backside of the bar, and he squeezed off more shots at McNeil's chest as he came up in a kneel. At the same time, he pressed a button on his belt. It transmitted the signal for HK-47 to reveal himself. At that moment, HK-47 kicked down the door, wielding a huge heavy repeating blaster rifle, and sprayed a hail of blasterfire at McNeil.

That's one big honking weapon! I managed to think before I was forced to pull out my lightsaber and start parrying away. Damn, he forced my hand!
Taking an HK model out of play is never easy, especially when I don't know what upgrades this one would have. It's nice target practice for the other one, I know that much. But since it was real, I would have to pull out all the stops to stop this one!
So I ended up *crack* out of existence for a moment then *crack* reappeared behind the Terrible Two as I called them, and sent a powerful ripple of Force energy outward from the palm of my hand, sending tables and chairs flying out the windows. If that didn't work, well, then I have to up the stakes even more!

Kil slammed hard into the solid end of the bar as the Force energy propelled him backwards down the counter's small confines. He had heard the snap-hiss of a lightsaber igniting, and he knew he was in deep this time. He heard a loud metallic clatter and scraping as HK-47 was hit by the Force push, and heard HK shouting over the whine of the blasterfire the heavy repeating blaster was pouring out.
"Angry Threat: You will pay for your insolence, meatbag! I shall take much delight in ripping you limb from limb!"
Kil got up, leveled his blasters on the bar counter at McNeil, and sprayed off more shots at McNeil, adding to the already-prodigious amount of bolts coming at him.

Kil whipped out his double-bladed cortosis-weave vibroblade and thumbed the activation switch, causing the microgenerator inside to send thousands of microscopic pulses through the blade per second, creating a lethal edge that could dismember a man with even a glancing blow.

Having once faced Darth Vader himself in a duel, Kil found McNeil's skills to be formidable, but not insurmountable. Compared to the Dark Lord of the Sith, McNeil was positively mediocre. Kil parried the blows again, and pressed his own attack, lunging and thrusting, speaking as he did so.
"I'm the only Guardsman left. My real name is Kir Kanos, and I served the Emperor loyally until his death. For six years, I waited while the Empire crumbled around me. When the Emperor returned, he rewarded my loyalty, and I served him again. When he died a final death, it was devastating. But it was even worse when I heard that Carnor Jax, another Guardsman, and one I used to know, was responsible for the Emperor's death. I killed him, and hunted down the other traitors. As far as I know, I'm the only Guardsman left, and so I'm making a living bounty hunting until the true heirs to the Empire restore it, unlike the pretenders we see today."
His fury had grown simply recounting Jax's treachery, and he channeled that rage into his assault on McNeil, further pressing his attacks.

Oh, right, sorry about that." He dispelled the telekinetic lift he had on the boy, letting him drop to the ground.
In good timing, the Chief replied. "No can do on the first. I'm an AI after all. On the second, the armory's in the last room on the corridor to your left. I will expect my weapons back, of course."
Kristi moves off, smiling with just a hint of malevolence. "Watashi posib bilekios uki." ("And I just might return them.") She hesitates a moment, then retrieves the translator from the floor, stowing it in her pocket. I may need this later.

OOC: Don’t start anything because I have to do something tonight. So, I want to be in the battle. I will be on sometime Monday. Thanks.
OOC: Yeah, and while you're at it don't do anything while I'm not online, too. It's group RPG man; things happen while you're gone. It sucks, but it's true.
IC: Kristi arrives in the armory, and is pleased to find a single remaining suit of military-grade body armor that, while a size too large, is suitable for her use. She puts this on, but her good humor is rapidly vanquished with the discovery that no explosives remain. She kicks at a half-empty case of blaster rifles, hurting her own foot and heightening her already dangerously foul mood. "Teli est nilpal," ("These are useless,") she rages, nearly spitting the words. "Dond est spyuti?" ("Where are the explosives?")
James had followed Kristi to the armory. As she raged about the weapons, he pulled out his gizmo, that he'd spent a great deal tweaking and customising, and activated one of the new functions. "Kristi, the explosives are over there." He said as he pointed toward where the explosives were stored.

Note: Shamman isn't a dark lord though he's being trained by one. There are a total of 4 "Lords" and 2 "Dark Lords" in huntaer.

"It is time to deal with the Jedi fools, my friends." Nightshade said as the two and a half Dark Lords sat at a table, catered to by terrified servants. James tapped his gizmo, "Chief, do you have supplies of sulfur, charcoal, and KNO3? Or any, (List of fairly common household chemicals)?"
"There's fertilizer in the gardens outside which contains both sulfur and potassium nitrate and charcoal is near the grills." Chief suggested. He knew full well what the boy was thinking of doing. "Just don't blow yourself up."
"Won't do, thanks for the info." James said as he headed to gather the materials to make black-powder. Once he'd gathered enough of the three components he began purifying and getting the materials into the proper consistancy. From there, he took the materials outside and began the process of mixing and grinding the mixtures, making sure to work with amounts that were efficiant, but small enough not to pose a major risk. Once this was complete he began turning the powders into cakes and them into granules. Once done, he transfered all the powder into a 80 gallon barrel, which he nearly filled. The entire process took about an hour.

"Kitchen." The first soldier groaned. They argued about who's going back there to cater to a fifteen year old boy, played Rock Paper Scissors, then the second soldier lost and had to go back. A couple minutes later, his arms were full of plates.
James let a very slight smile play across his face at the antics of the two men.
He set about turning the bottles into improvised hand grenades/flame grenades. These he made by taking a bottle, filling it partially with alcohol, then stuffing a rag so it would serve as a buffer, then adding some black-powder and a rag stuffed in the top.
He then turned his attention to the plates and his plans for the improvised land mines. These were born by taking alcohol soaked rags and laying one flat along the base of the bottom plate, and a generous mound of gun-powder was poured on. He paused here because he was missing a few things.
"Hey do you have any duct-tape or gun-tape, nails, carpentry nails if possible, some copper wire and batteries?" He asked

"Storage cabinet's in that closet to your right." Chief sighed. This kid is getting dangerous...
James gathered the supplies and set to work finishing his improvised land mines, doing everything save adding the trigger, for safety reasons. The tape was used to secure the nails and the two plates together. He made sure to partially fracture the top plates so the blast would go in the correct manner. The wire and batteries would provide the trigger, if someone stepped on or compressed the mine it would detonate, providing the trigger was connected.
Seeing that he'd run out of plates before powder, he began making claymore mines. These he made by taking a few rags, filling them gunpowder then tapping shut with nails tapped to them. To detonate these, whoever used them would slit on of the bags enough to leave a trail of powder to the location of the mine and light it, mayham would insue.

OOC: Damn this thread to hell.
IC: As the preparations drag on, Kristina manages to gather together ten grenades, which she bums off ten individual units partially out of practicality and partially because it was easier to tell each successive unit that she didn't have any than to try getting larger quantities from the already thinly spread resources. Let the others make their home-made bombs, she thinks. I'm using the real stuff. After reassuring herself that she knows how to use what she has taken with a passing guard, she straps the grenades around her belt for easy access and brings her Force Lance to bear, deploying it and using it on a passing maintenance bot to test its operation. The small, automated drone grinds to a halt in a smouldering heap.
She has regained her good humor through her successes at arming herself and her discovery that she seems to be a naturally good shot, despite her inexperience (though this is mainly due to the homing properties of the Force Lance's affectors), though she remains in her destructive mindset. At the moment, she realizes the advantage of cooperation to ward off their oncoming attackers and decides to hold off on any personal vandettas until after the threat has been routed.
Wandering the halls trying to get a grasp of the base's geography she comes again upon James, working among a small pile of makeshift ordinance. "Quel est teli?" ("What's all this?") she asks, with genuine, if self-motivated, curiosity.
"Hand/Flame grenades," James replied, pointing to the bottles, "Claymore mines," Pointing to the bags, "and AP landmines." He finished, pointing to the plates.
ooc: what's the problem with the thread?
Also what language is that?
OOC: Every time I look away, it grows by at least a page. The language is Mirfakan, a fictional tongue I've manufactured as the native language of Xanthal. Very simple, straightforward dialect with absolute rules to eliminate unnecessary complexities. Some words are English modifications, some are drawn from my background in Spanish, and some are pulled from Japanese, but the majority are made up from scratch. There are a few grammatical twists thrown in too, just so it's more original.
IC: Kristi raises an eyebrow. "Mifsal." ("Nice.") She picks up one of the flame grenade bottles, examining it carefully before replacing it. "Hastios eliv?" ("Need any help?")
"Don't need any help making them, as I've run out of supplies. So what's up with you?" James asked as he finished a tweak to the gizmo and sealed it again.
ooc: that explains why some of it was familiar.
"Watashi nil est fabrilios maltal por." ("I'm not much of a manufacturer anyway.") She smiles, showing off her laden belt. "Posiliosor spyut, posoinios log placin." ("I got some grenades, and I'm learning the layout of this place.") She hesitates a moment, then takes a half-step forward. "Astios zek presios sashu?" ("Would you like to team up?") It is an uncharacteristic question for her, and she reddens slightly at being reduced to asking for somebody else's help. At the same time she knows it will be much safer for everyone involved if they do not work individually.
"I would enjoy and be honoured to be teaming up with you." James replied, "So you prefere explosive to anything else?" He asked
At his acceptance of her offer Kristi bows, but quickly straightens, reddening even more as she realizes her mistake. This is not the Socialist Republic, and her courtesy is foreign here. She quickly moves on, trying to mask her faux pas. "Soal watashi nil arestios pel regard mikyuneki. Uki est nileksal inkal Seimelanyuikous Veraputalosal." ("To be honest, I don't know anything about real weapons. These kinds of things are banned in the Socialist Republic.")

Four Imperator Class Towerless Star Destroyers Mk III's (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9133982&postcount=3) jumped from hyperspace and hovered in orbit around earth, along with 2 other Everquest Class Cruisers (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9046452&postcount=75). They hovered in orbit around Earth for a period of time. Grand Admiral Kriktor watched as his Thunder Hawk Transports (carrying 10 Clone Troopers each) landed onto the planet and came back up to the ITSD's for more troops. This was a big opperation and he knew it. Kriktor straightened his suit, "contact Lady Nightshade. Tell her we've arrived at earth from Shamman's coordinate transmissions."
"They have arrived." The message from the Star Cruiser to the ground reported.
"Good. Begin the first phase."
"As ordered." The once-silent lone Star Cruiser then began to open fire upon the transports, and send powerful missiles at the lead ITSD. Fighters flew out to support their mothership and the Lancers prepared to sunder enemy fighters with squalls of green death.
---
"They have begun." Lady Nightshade smirked as she recieved the comms. "We can go under the cloak of war. My ship is prepared."
OOC: This happens before your Clone troopers get there, Huntaer.
OOC: That's fine
Demetrius Corcoran, Derek Marmaduke and Makya arrived at the base, where Belmont told them to come. Demetrius has two Beretta 93R automatic pistols with him. Derek has his HK MG 36 machine gun and M79 40mm grenade launcher with him. Makya had his Colt 'Python Elite' revolver and a bowie knife with him. Each one had more ammo and extra clips with them.
“Belmont, we have arrived.” said Demetrius on his Navy SEAL like radio.
“Copy that.” said Belmont. “Our mission is guard the main building and take out this robot that will come the enemy.”
“Derek, there is a guy named Raoul here.” said Belmont. “He is from the Dominion, find him.”
“Roger that, Belmont.” said Derek.
The three men divide into two groups. Demetrius and Makya in one group and Derek headed over to Raoul. As Derek saw what gun Raoul had, he pulled out a HK AG36 grenade launcher out of his bag. “Name’s Derek and take this.” said Derek, who threw the HK AG36 grenade launcher to Raoul. “Thanks.” said Raoul, who start putting it. After a minute it was on and was loaded.
Each man waited for the enemy to arrive….
A total of 500 Clone Troopers were loaded upon the planet so far, with well more than another 15000 on the way. They locked and loaded their Kirtir Battle Riffles. A drop ship came around and unloaded all of their weapons supplies. There were Laser Shotguns, HA-15s, HBP-59s, AR-89s (huntarian version of the Clone Trooper Riffle), AC-34s, and the Kirtir Battle Riffles. All of the newest weapons were here.

On the ground...
Deadly traps awaited the enemy forces as they come. Camoflagued troops went hiding into the forests of the mountains, preparing to send crossfire from E-webs and M-60 machine guns (armor piercing rounds, of course). Droidekas rolled around on patrols, and the new Agents of the CWN prepared for combat. Chris checked his blasters one last time, and made sure that they were fully charged and stocked. Moegi practiced her ninjutsu skills. and us Jedi prepared to recieve the Sith Lords themselves. We were ready for battle. Are they?
"They have begun." Lady Nightshade smirked as she recieved the comms. "We can go under the cloak of war. My ship is prepared."
"I'd suggest we get going then. We'll take your ship to earth. I'm ready to send in more support to the ITSD's incase they need back up. The troops have already begun to unload onto the planet's surface."

"Begin Specter Tie Fighters sequence bravo 4 commander Brishdee, make sure you protect your transports. Leave the pathetic ISD's to us."
"Roger that. Beginning Bravo 4 cloaking sequence."
The Tie Phantoms Mk II and Tie Specters launched from the ITSD's and cloaked. "Cut norman communication chatter. Follow regular fighting patterns. Remember, Physiological fear is key to our success here."
The Tie's then perfectly cloaked and began their typical fighting sequence. Their engines roared though the pilots couldn't see anything, and they occasionaly appeared in and out: Fighting like hordes of ghosts.
The Tie Poltergiests were launched from the hangar bays.
"Poltergiests, begin attack pattern victor 6"
"Roger that command."
The Poltergiests then cloaked, keeping their engines quiet and they began to ram into their enemies. Not destroying them, but doing the type of damage they need to get inorder to scare them a little.

“Okay, guys.” said Belmont “The enemy is here.” Belmont was hidden in dark area near the ceiling of the building that housed the Chronoskimmer. “We will act as the last line of defense to this building. Check ammo and ready your selves for battle.”
“Copy that.” said the four men. Each one had AP rounds loaded in their weapons. These rounds could through Transylvanian Body Armor, so the armor of the enemy would not be a problem.

"Good. Come with me." Nightshade said, and lead them to her personal hangar bay. A cloaking shuttle was ready for them as they boarded. After they strapped in, Nightshade ignited her engines and then lept into space. Once they cleared the gravity well, the ship jumped into hyperspace.

"I can't see them! Ahh!" A pilot cried before going up in fire.
"What was that?" Another yelped as he was rammed by an unseen object.
"Our scopes can't pick 'em up!"
"Go to visual, then!" A commander snapped before he commed Mission Control. "We have some sort of phantom TIEs running around! I'm requesting Jedi assistance!"
In the HQ, Alex heard the call and sent orders for the Jedi pilots to get here ASAP. He nodded silently to me and I ran for the hangar bay. Most of the fighters were gone, but I managed to grab an X-wing model without a droid socket. It isn't as good as the XJ3 model, but then my own was at Jurai. This D model would suit my purposes. As I headed into space, I formed a small flight with three other Jedi pilots that were stationed here. Then, with the Force as our ally, we began to pick off the enemy...
Meanwhile, the Star Cruiser continued to fight despite overwhelming odds, the primary goal being to take down as many transports as possible...

Meanwhile, I have concluded my duel with Kir Kanos, the Emperor's Royal Guard and left him for dead. If he survives the wounds I inflicted on him, I'm sure we'll have a rematch someday, but I had more important things to do. Like greet my dear little sister and give her a reception she'll never forget. I teleported back to the base, ensured that all preparations were in place and noticed the kid named James working on some explosives. I smirked, remembering when there was a Jedi Master who taught my class how to make bombs and stuff like that. "Hey, kid. What are you doing?"
OOC: Sorry I didn't post a response, our cable Internet decided to die on us. Upon investigation by a technician, apparently the line to our house has to be serviced/replaced, which isn't going to happen for a few days. And I'm leaving for Washington, D.C. for 10 days shortly thereafter, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to post anymore in this RP. If it's still going somehow, that's great. If not, well, it was fun. Thanks again, everyone.

OOC: Thank you for concentrating firepower on my single Star Cruiser and my holograms! :D
IC: To the possible astonishment of the enemy, the fire went through the insubstantial holograms for they were a trick and a trap. However, the Star Cruiser was getting pounded upon by the fire, and even the triple-layer shields can't hold out for long. When the shields went below 50%, a tightbeam transmission was sent...

"Oh boy, I have a bad feeling about this!" I cried out as I concentrated on Specter Squadron, even as I saw the blips increase a hundred-fold. Then...the cavalry came.
Above, below and behind the enemy Star Destroyers came our own ISDs and the remaining Star Cruiser, firing massed turbolasers at the enemy right after reversion, especially aiming for their engines. Fighters and bombers swarmed out of the hangar bays like soldier bees and started engaging the enemy fighters, turning a potential deathtrap for me into a deathtrap for the enemy. We Coredians do love our pincer maneuvers!
Then, one more Star Destroyer came out of hyperspace but stayed at the edge of the battle. The Sniper's Captain was a well-trusted man by the name of Jerik Davos. He was proud to be a part of the new design of his ship, a design built for maximum firepower.
"I want a firing solution on the lead enemy Destroyer. And don't forget to scan them for weaknesses." The captain ordered. "Weapons, deploy the special weapon."
"Aye, aye!" The men replied. Sensors began scanning the enemy and preparing a firing solution on, incidently, the Grand Admiral's ship. Then the targeting reticle turned red. "It's a go!"
The primary hangar bay door opened, but instead of fighters, a giant turbolaser was lowered. It was a modified SPHA-T, the same kind of weapon used in the Clone Wars for artillery purposes. It was powerful enough back then, but coupled with the Star Destroyer's reactor, it was promised to be nothing less than a mini-superlaser.
"Ready...and...FIRE!" The Captain ordered.
The turbolaser seemed to collect energy for a moment on its end, then a huge green-blue bolt of energy lashed out for the Grand Admiral's ship. The energy was so much that it momentarily cut power to all other systems to unleash the destructive bolt, though ten seconds later, they were back online. Such is the only drawback of the new type of Star Destroyer: designed for long-range heavy artillery bombardment...
"Wow." I whispered in awe as the bolt sped through the depths of space...
OOC: Thank you for concentrating firepower on my single Star Cruiser and my holograms! :D

Grand Admiral Kriktor just staired as the fire came towards the ship. It's hull was stronger than a ISD as well as it's shields. It had no Conning Tower to fire at. There were multiple reactor cores to destroy and not just one inorder to take out their energy supplies. The sensors were inside the ship, no more rediculous "sensor balls" to destroy either. Their hangarbay doors were closed, something the previous ISD's didn't have available.
"Tell one of the Mk III's to break off their attack and head toward's the other ship as a destraction. If it continues to ignore it, that would be a rediculous decision for them. How long untill Darth Aelikes and Lady Nightshade Arrive?"
"Approximately half an hour sir."
An explosion rocketed the bridge and the ship itself. "Admiral sir! We've been hit!"
"Whoopie-Fuckin'-Doo ensign!" He glanced over at the holo-transmission of the battle and saw that the very-tip of his ship was just destroyed, "Think I care about the destruction of the very tip of the ship? NO! Now get back and consentrate on reconfiguring our shields so that they won't colapse again! Also.... GET THAT FUCKING CANNON DESTROYED!"

In front of the facility stood a lone figure, Valentine, hefting his massive Death Penalty, and fiddling with some gems inlaid on his prosthesis, he seemed to be re-arranging them to suit him better, but why he would do that was only to be revealed much later, there were three red ones, a pair of purple ones, four emrald green ones, and a single sky blue one, as well as a single yellow one, inscribed on the prosthesis was the word "Deathblow", the yellow gem replaced the "o" in the inscription.

"Hmm. This is going to take a while." Captain Davos mused. "They're better shielded and armored than I expected."
"Sir. A ship has broken off to engage us."
"Indeed? Very well. Is the hyperdrive reinstated?"
"Yes, sir."
"Withdraw the turbolaser. Set a course and jump at will." He made a mental note to write to the brass that Huntaeran Star Destroyers will require a concentrated artillery bombardment for better effect. The enemy Star Destroyer's guns shot at the Sniper, but as it was fairly far away, the energy was easily dissipated away by the heat sinks. Once the turbolaser was withdrawn, the ship vectored for hyperspace and disappeared in a flash of psuedomotion.
Meanwhile, the rest of the fleet was set upon dealing with their enemies. Two Star Destroyers have decided to move closer to the flagship and broadside it with their heavy turbolasers and ion cannons. If nothing else, they would compound the (minor) damage done by the SPHA-T and try to destroy the ship or at least make it flee.
As for me, I wondered how many phantom TIEs I have dealt with over the course of the battle. The fighting took a bit out of me, but I continued to support the fleet and engage the enemy ships. One of the Lancer cruisers blew up spectacularly, bringing our antistarfighter firepower down a bit, although the others managed to take up the slack.

The Kaliburn came under heavy assault by the enemy flagship as it's sister ship tried to rise above and hit its dorsal side. Explosions rumbled around the ISD as bombardment sheared away its shields little by little. The hull was breached in several places, sucking crew and droids out to the airless vacuum. But its captain continued to encourage the ship crew, keep it firing at the flagship.
Meanwhile, the sister ship Quiver moved into point-blank range and conducted its own powerful strikes upon the Grand Admiral's ship. Turbolaser turrets sent rays of green death upon its opponent, while crackling blue globs of ion cannon fire rained down to try and shut down electronic components. The Quiver fared better than its sister by judicious use of rolling to present a stronger shield side to the enemy while other shields recharged.

I raised an eyebrow as I noted several more blips on the sensor screens. So, they decloaked after all. Well, time to get rid of the guy behind me!
With that, I made a really tight loop de loop to get on his six and let loose with a proton torpedo followed by lasers. All around me, battle raged as fighters fought and died to protect Coredia and her people. I felt another dozen life signs blink out and managed to focus on the job at hand. Shoot now, mourn later.
25 fighters dead so far, Kaliburn 25% damaged. Quiver 8% damaged. First Star Cruiser Gigantor 55% damaged.
"Ok, tell two of the ITSD's to fire all of their weapon's at the other two ISD's attacking me. Have the other one attack the remaining ship. I also want that remaining Everquest to attack the Star Cruiser. It's becoming quite an annoyance," the Grand Admiral said through his teeth.
OOC: It's really Daniel Masaki, but to all people except his grandfather and the Chief, he's Jake McNeil.
OOC: Ahh. I'm a little confused here though: Is Alex his grandfather, or some other relative (conisdering they have the same last name)?
IC:
I raised an eyebrow as I noted several more blips on the sensor screens. So, they decloaked after all. Well, time to get rid of the guy behind me!
With that, I made a really tight loop de loop to get on his six and let loose with a proton torpedo followed by lasers. All around me, battle raged as fighters fought and died to protect Coredia and her people. I felt another dozen life signs blink out and managed to focus on the job at hand. Shoot now, mourn later.

Commander Brishdee saw the torpetoe's comming at him. Damn. He then flew his ship away, trying to avoid the torpetoe. I'm not gunna make it.... One of his men's already damaged fighter's came and intercepted the torpetoe and took the blow and died. You were a good pilot Specter 15. Brishdee then flew around and locked onto several other fighter's and fired 4 of his 6 torpetoes, each aimed at a different fighter. He then went and did a loop, came up around and faced the Jedi head on. "Specter 5, I want you to stay right behind me!"
"What!?! Just what are you planning boss?"
"Follow me, I'm going to play chicken with this Jedi. I want you to come up from behind just as we pull up at the last minute and lock onto the Jedi's fighter. Cloak your ship so he can't really see you."
"Aye sir."

The Quiver was actually close enough to the flag that when the other Impstars attacked, some of the bolts that managed to miss went for the flagship in a nice friendly-fire incident, although it still was damaged some. Kaliburn however became increasingly damaged enough that some people were making a bet on who would go first, Kaliburn or Gigantor. As it is, Gigantor came under fire from the enemy Everquest cruiser and called for its fellow cruiser Behemoth to aid it. Now, both cruisers sent missiles and turbolasers into the Everquest in a contest of 2-on-1 firepower to see who would survive.
And then...the Sniper came back to lend its considerable firepower to the friendly fleet. It deployed the extremely heavy turbolaser again, and every thirty seconds or so, began 'sniping' at the enemy ships. Ten seconds for the reactor recharge, another twenty for the weapon recharge. In the meantime, another Lancer cruiser was near breakup and set course for one of the ITSDs...

As for the torpedoes? One fighter got it in the engines and turned into space dust, while another tried to get it to track towards one of the enemy ISDs.

"From the reports of transports that made it through our screen, they're about thirty kilometers north of this base." Chief said.
That direction was where the traps were set, both booby and crossfire. It was tough waiting for the enemy to strike, but what can they do?

Through over 500 years of flight training, Brishdee dodged most of the Jedi's attacks. Steady, steady, steaaaddyyyy..... "Break off now! Decloak your ship Specter 15 and attack!" 15 did as he was suppose to, and fired all 4 of his Advanced Medium Lasercannons at the Jedi fighter.

250m against 4 2000m ships? Not to mention it only has quad laser cannons. Lancer's are meant for anti-aircraft, not for capital ships (they consist of 20 quad laser cannons which won't do much damage to Cap's at all).... Unless they're modified with Heavy Turbolasers or something like that. Then, I'll RP more damnage out. Otherwise, most it'll be doing is taking out lots of fighters (which is still just as good) and creating very minor damage too the shields.

The grenades have destroyed the closest E-webs, but a deadly hail of blaster fire poured into the breach, not to mention a couple of thermal detonators. The enemy will not step another foot inside the ship if the marines could help it!

"We are losing this battle! Call in reinforcements!" The Kaliburn's captain ordered. Suddenly, the hangar bay was sundered with heavy fire, causing a chain reaction that turned the ship into a minor star, destroying it utterly. All hands were lost.
The remaining 2 Star Destroyers, 1 boarded Star Destroyer and 1 Cruiser began to concentrate all their firepower on the enemy flagship. Even if they go down, they would take this one with them! The ion cannons smacked into the bridges, shutting down electronics and forcing them to go to visual. The shields held, but barely. But the capital ships did not have much longer to live...
"I'm hit in my engines! There's not much I can do!" Specter 45 shouted

The enemie's torpetoe's hit #8 and he was blown into dust.
I sighed. Now was the time to make an attack run on one of the enemy ships. I pulled up the scanners to see which one was the closest to getting destroyed. Ah, there!
It was an ITSD getting increasingly damaged as the battle wore on. Wounded, but still a dangerous foe. Time to make it no longer dangerous, then!
"Krayt and Rancor Wings, do you read me?" I commed the B and K wing squadrons respectively.
"We hear you." Came the reply.
"I want to pull a Horn Strike. Lock your torpedoes and missiles to my transponder!" I ordered. Ah, yes, the Horn strike. Extremely dangerous and reckless (I could already hear my grandfather and father in my ears), it called for a hotshot Jedi pilot to guide a bunch of torpedoes to the target and then break away at the last moment. Jedi Master Corran Horn created it, and now I was going to reenact it.
I could hear a sigh from the commander. "As ordered, Jedi."
"Form up." I said, and soon the bomber flights formed up many klicks behind me. I realigned the shields to double-forward for extra protection, and then began the run, kicking in the afterburners as I did so. I reached deeply into the Force as I conducted the run, and it whispered the right time to send the missiles flying.
"Now!" I ordered as I was halfway to the ITSD. Dozens of blue flashes of light lashed out towards me. All I had to do was guide them in...
"YES! There goes their bridge!" one of the other pilot's observed.
"Cut the chatter boys! Everyone and anyone who flies a Tie Poltergiest, I want you to cloak and aim yourselfs at the other bridges! It's suicide bomber time!"
"Sir, they're ramming the bridges!"
"Damn! Redouble the bridge shields! Have the remaining Lancers cover us! Keep firing on that flagship!" The Havoc took up the command slack after Keliburn's loss and began reinforing the bridge shields. It's well-known that the bridge is a major target, and we have taken steps to somewhat rectify that. Of course, that still doesn't make the captain feel any better. "How goes the call for reinforcements?"
"They're coming soon!"
"Very well!" He hoped that it would be a significant turnaround this time...
"Yes. Both sides are doing a considerable amount of damage. But don't worry about us. We've got backup comming round."
By now, the other 4 Everquests have jumped from hyperspace and quickly went into battle.
"Very good, but I know that the Coredians will send for their own. I would do it if I were their commander by now." Nightshade said and descended upon the planet like a shadow.

OOC: No more reinforcements after mine come in.
The grenades have destroyed the closest E-webs, but a deadly hail of blaster fire poured into the breach, not to mention a couple of thermal detonators. The enemy will not step another foot inside the ship if the marines could help it!
<COMBAT SHIELDS!> Devil's ops then turned on their red energy shields which helped protect them against enemy fire(similar thus to KOTOR I & II's personal shields, just a lot stronger. These guys are special ops.), reflecting or absorbing the blaster shots. <Corpral! Throw your grenades!>
This corpral was a grenader, carrying the most grenades of the group. He threw 5 Advanced Thrermal Detonators into the enemy lines and another 2 Plasma Grenades further back.
<Corporal! How many mines out there?>
<Can't tell sir! I can deactivate them though. Give me cover fire!>
Seargent Grikorg then stood up and openfired all of his ammo into enemy lines. He then bent down and loaded his weapon with more ammo as another corporal stood up and fired in his place. The good ol' corporal then started to deactivate the nearest mines. Meanwhile, several other troopers were still loading in. Hearing the blaster fights, they took their weapons and fired from the hull breach randomly in the enemie's direction carefull not to reveal too much of their armor.
"We are losing this battle! Call in reinforcements!" The Kaliburn's captain ordered. Suddenly, the hangar bay was sundered with heavy fire, causing a chain reaction that turned the ship into a minor star, destroying it utterly. All hands were lost.

"HAHAHA! Die Jedi Dogs!" One of the bridge crew member shouted.
"Admiral! Enemy fire is all targeted at us!"
"HOLD YOUR COURSE PILOT! WE'LL NOT GIVE UP! HAVE ALL OF THE EVERQUESTS TARGET THE ENEMIE'S CAPITAL SHIP AND....." The Grand Admiral disapeared in a puff of black and red smoke.
"....FIRE ALL TURBOLASERS AT IT! I ALSO WANT THEIR....*Looks around the new bridge* WHAT THE FUCK?? HOW THE HELL DID I GET HERE!?!" The Grand Admiral was transported onto the bridge of one of the Everquest cruisers. The bridge's crew as shocked to see the Grand Admiral as much as he was shocked that he was transported.
::The Enemy will be focusing it's firepower onto your command ship Grand Admiral. I've transported you through the force to another ship to keep you alive for the battle,:: it was Aelikes who transported him.
Thank you my lord. Many thanks.
"Never mind that crew. Not only do I want the Ion Cannons to continue to fire from the ITSD's, but I want ours to fire out too, launch all fighters. NOW DO IT!"
The enemy would have no idea that their target has switched command positions.
And guided them in he did. The torpetoes landed upon the damaged ITSD's remaining shields and caused a huge rupture in it's hull, rendering it useless for the rest of the battle.
The Poltergeists were almost out from suicide missions. [/i]Damn.[/i]
"All right! I want all other fighters to fire their torpetoes directly at the bridge! Take out their sensor balls if you could! Do whatever it takes to win!"
"Very good, but I know that the Coredians will send for their own. I would do it if I were their commander by now." Nightshade said and descended upon the planet like a shadow.
"That's where I come in. I need to be transported to the nearest Everquest Cruiser so I could meditate upon this battle. I could help us turn around and defeat the enemy miseribly" Aelikes stated, "I'll transport myself onto the planet's surfface later on."

The Marines have begun to retreat under the onslaught, but for every inch they retreated, fire continued to pour through and attack the enemy marines. Grenades and rockets were tossed at them to take down the shields, even as a set of E-webs was set up and poured hundreds of blasterbolts per second onto the enemy.
"Hey, there's some guy trying to deactivate the mines."
"Detonate them." Came the cold reply, and the corridors shook with the explosion.
"Captain, the enemy's forcing us to retreat deeper into the ship."
"Very well. Order a fighter to take out the transport. Perhaps the vacuum will remove the scum for us. Oh, and release the droidekas." He added. As the destroyer droids rolled to the combat zone, an A-wing zoomed by and began to pepper the transport latched onto the hull with laserfire...

The enemy would have no idea that their target has switched command positions.
The Havoc and her sisters continued to bombard what was proported to be the flagship in order to consume it in a firey death.
And guided them in he did. The torpetoes landed upon the damaged ITSD's remaining shields and caused a huge rupture in it's hull, rendering it useless for the rest of the battle.
I smirked. "Bagged one. Now to end this. What?"
For I have sensed a disturbance in the Force. My sister and two Sith have come to Earth! I gritted my teeth. How could I have missed them coming in? But I was in the thick of the dogfight and couldn't reach them in time.
The Poltergeists were almost out from suicide missions. [/i]Damn.[/i]
"All right! I want all other fighters to fire their torpetoes directly at the bridge! Take out their sensor balls if you could! Do whatever it takes to win!"
"Where the hell are the reinforcements?!" The Captain of the Havoc cried as his bridge shook under the torpedo bombardments.
"Sir...take a look at this." The long-range sensors have spotted something. The captain quickly went over to the scanners, and then smiled. "Well, looks like the battle have turned today!"
For out of hyperspace came a powerful ship and her escorts. The Elite Star Destroyer Megalodon has finally arrived! It was 2500 meters of black arrowhead bristling with turbolaser cannons, ion cannons and missile launchers. It's shields were stronger than the ships the enemy fought before, making it one of the 10 'normal' flagships of the Coredian Navy! Escorting it were two MC-90 Star Cruisers, an Mk III Star Destroyer, two Strike Cruisers and five Wolfpacks (1 corvette, 4 gunships each) for antistarfighter defense. The tide has definitely turned!
"Target the nearest enemy ship, and execute an Alpha Strike." Commodore Samantha Lymann ordered crisply.
"Yes, Ma'am." The crew replied and got to work.
Every single weapon, turret and otherwise of the Megalodon targeted one of the Everquest cruisers and opened fire in a single devastating bombardment of energy and projectile. The escorts followed suit on the same ship, launching fresh fighters and bombers into the fray...
"That's where I come in. I need to be transported to the nearest Everquest Cruiser so I could meditate upon this battle. I could help us turn around and defeat the enemy miseribly" Aelikes stated, "I'll transport myself onto the planet's surfface later on."
"You'd better do it quickly for I see their reinforcements have arrived right about now." She smirked. That was not all. She had also sensed, out there among the dogfight, a presence she had not felt since...So, brother, you have showed up once again. How you have survived what happened five years ago, I'll never know. But mark my words. Once we meet on the ground, I'll shed your blood!

<Sir! They're attacking the transport! It's gunna blow!>
<Very well then. Turn on your environmental suits and activate gravity boots. Have your jet packs ready incase you somehow get sucked into the vacuum of space. Remember these suits are good for 2 hours in these conditions.>
<Sir! What about the mines?>
<Don't really care anymore! Run out into the middle of them and shoot while you're running! Use multiple grenades on the mines if you have to! Just get to the damn bridge!>
They then proceded through the mine field, the lower class troopers were sent first and they cleared through the mines, but their suits were sevearly wounded. The next few shots of enemy fire killed them, but at least most of the mines were out of the way.
<Fire all grenades at the enemies!>

I'll find a responce for the fleet soon enough....

The grenades have caused alot of trouble for the troops as they retreated further into the ship, continuing to fire at the enemies all the while. The corridors of the Star Destroyer was a mess by the time the retreat was sounded, and it would be some time before it would be fully repaired, if the Quiver could get out of it.
In the thick of the battle, two destroyer droids rolled through a side corridor, deployed themselves and their shields and started targeting the enemy with rapid-fire lasers. Even Jedi have a tough time fighting these babies!
The lower spine of the bridge tower was the place of yet another deathtrap for the enemy, as there were a hell of a lot of E-webs set up at the turbolifts. And the lifts themselves were ordered to lock down so that the enemy won't take them. And if worst comes to worst, the captain had a suicidal plan...

I've been drawing plans for a Megaladon Class Towerless Star Destroyer...
OOC2: Name of the ship, after the Carcharodon Megalodon, the ancestor of the Great White Shark. It's also a ship that's been around for a while and survived every battle it's been in, so it and it's crew has much experience. Cool, eh?

<Sarge! Destroyers!>
<Grenader! You know what to do! TAKE COVER BOYS! Second squad! Move through the other level to reach the bridge! We'll meet you the shorter, trickier root!>
<Copy that sarge.>
Once again, the grenader reached into his backpack of grenades and chucked a few directly at the destroyer droids. It'd only take ~2-4 thermal detonaters to take care of them..... If you had them anyways. Several other troopers aimed at the enemy destroyer droids and shot their last grenades at them before they had to reload, causing even further damage to the surrounding area.

The second squad met up at a closed turbolift door.
<Damn. Locked. How're we going to get through this?> one of the privates questioned in annoyance.
<Hold on there kid, let's show you the real way it's done,> yet another seargent stept up and began to cut through the door. His next plan was to use his rocket thrusters to keep him steady and cut through the wiring of the turbolifts, causing it to fall down to the bottom. Never to be used again(untill it's fixed). They would then proceed upward the turbolift area with their jet packs and cut through the bridge area. They once were onboard the ISD's, and they were extreamly familiar with the old designs.

"Stand your ground, men! Helm, set a course for one of the enemy ships! If we can't take them down here, we'll take them down with us!"

The captain also held his finger on the self-destruct (set for thirty seconds to give some crew time to escape) button so that it would be the last thing he did if they killed him.
The course was set for the least damaged ITSD and the throttles opened to full power. After all, if they took that one out, the others would be easier pickings for the fleet. All that remained was to hold the bridge at all costs...

By this time, they have cut through the turbolift's door which would lead to the bridge. The seargent had an idea on how to get the captain to be destracted. No retreating either (same as surrender to us). We go down to the last man. Huntarians fight similar thus to.... Space Marines, possibly also similar thus to Mandalorians. The sudden move has caught the Army off-guard, but they recovered quickly and began to order evacuations even as they took over the defense of the city. Fortunately, the city was surrounded by relatively open space several miles from the forest, so that AT units could easily attack the troops without much trouble. The base itself was even worse, with miles of open space that could make a Pickett-style charge very, very costly.

Some distance away from the battle.
The New Velkyan Merchantman Moria sailed through space to it's destination, the colony of Gilthanis V. Carrying mining equipment puchased by the colonists, the Moria's sensors suddenly lit up with warnings. The captain, Leon Davenport, yelled to the helmsman.
"What is it!"
"Heavy Ion signatures detected!"
"Take evasive action!"
"My god, sir, it's a battle"
They watched as one massive ship attempted to ram the other.

OOC: Smoke? In space?
OOC: Well, not smoke exactly. It's actually suppose to be something like a quick impulse thrust to push the TSD downwards rather than slowly moving downwards like it usualy does. It's a quick emergency maneuver to evade colisions.
IC:
"Sir, they're firing ion cannons!"
"It won't matter now! Brace for impact!" The captain ordered. The ship, even while sundered by ion cannons, dipped low enough to ensure that the 'sharp' end impacted the enemy like an arrow...
The captain of the TSD overlooked one thing: The SD would fall if the ion cannons had hit the other ship.
oh shit..... He saw the tip of the SD begin to lower towards where the Conning Tower would be....
The Huntarian army moved into the city, slowly taking over the streets and government buildings shooting all in their path.
Meanwhile, onboard the shuttle....
Aelikes peered down a side window, and saw his army move towards the city as ordred. They responded just as we expected them to. Now, for a moment of inspiration....
"Lady Nightshade, could you please lower the ramp while we're still in the air? I have an idea which could help our troops to move quicker..."

A vicious battle began to erupt as urban warfare broke out in the city. The Army would turn this city into a vertiable bloodbath if it was the last thing they did!

"Very well." Nightshade lowered the ramp, wondering what Aelikes is planning.
In the meantime, a young Jedi Knight in a fighter broke off from the main battle in space, content that the reinforcements in the form of the Megalodon and her large and powerful fleet would take care of the enemy.

Aelikes walked towards the lowered ramp and he felt the rush of wind across his breath mask. Lets see what the Jedi scum think of this....
He jumped off of the shuttle and free falled to the ground. He felt the rush of wind across his breath mask as he fell to the ground. How many times have I done this? Far too many. He smilled to himself, thinking upon his younger adventures of diving out of an open craft. Just as he neared the ground he lifted his body upward and activated both of his red-bladed wrist sabers. The speed he was traveling at was mind boggling, and bright blood red flames followed Aelikes as he soared through the air. He soon formed the Necrosis Order's emblem, which would soon be the cause of terror for the planets conquered by the Kirtir and their allies.
OOC: The method of the emblem hovering in the air is the same philosophy which Lord Voldemort used the Death Eater's sign every time his organization caused horror and havock. Read any of the Harry Potter books?
Note: The emblem is of the Kirtir symbol. Unfortunatly, I can't scann it into my computer or re-create it so for now I'll use the Sith Symbol (http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a172/Huntaer/Huntaer/Sith-logo-1.jpg)

IC:
For the civilians running from the city, it was a cause for more panic as the evil emblem was formed in the sky. For the Coredian troops, it was a sign that something wicked comes this way, and they redoubled their efforts to wipe the enemy off the face of the Earth.
Nightshade was faintly amused at the sign of the Dark Forces that the Sith Lord created as she set her ship down besides the Sith Lord and walked out of the shuttle, with Shannan or whoever he was in tow. "Interesting move you made, my friend."

Lady Nightshade smirked. "Then let me add my own little brand of terror."
She closed her eyes and focused on the clouds, bringing dark winds upon the panicking populace. The clouds swiftly swirled around the city as the storm of the Dark Side formed. A couple of small tornadoes whirled onto the ground, purposely attacking the Coredians.
Meanwhile, the X-wing dove straight into the clouds, rocked by the intensifying winds. So, my sister and her allies have begun the ground assault with terror tactics. Very nice, Fiona, but you forgot one thing...I control the elements as well...

The lightning was deflected from the main center of the army, as it is that the central shielding was on (picture the gungan shields in Ep. I). It did, however, hit the ones which weren't underneath the shield. They were struck and their red armor was now a hot sizzling black, but it didn't kill them.
Wait a minute. A Jedi using natural lightning bolts? Now that's interesting. Aelikes felt the small X-wing fly through the clouds, and he soared towards it as he manipulated the force to blend him in with the surroundings. He pushed himself to Masaki's X-wing and posisitoned himself directly behind it. He made himself visible now, and he struck his own lightning directly towards the enemies engines....

Hmm. Gonna take more than a little lightning to...what?! I thought as a lightning bolt struck my engines. I had only seconds before they overloaded, so I pulled the eject trigger and shot out of the X-wing before it exploded, sending flaming debris raining down on some hapless enemy soldiers.
I separated myself from my seat, and looked around for the enemy Sith who did that while I slowed my fall with the Force.

Lightning and fire met in mid-air in a deafening explosion as I landed on my feet like a cat and readied my lightsaber.
"We'll see about that, Kirtir!" I yelled back and disappeared in a small cloud of smoke, reappearing to strike Aelikes' back.

I was blasted off my feet and rolled backwards onto my feet in a crouching position, then I called my saber to me. Then I chuckled as I wiped blood from my lips. "Heh. You wanna bet?"
I made a quick hand-seal and muttered a spell ("Kage Bunshin no Jutsu"). Five clones of me appeared in a cloud of dust and surrounded the Sith Lord. "You like my dopplegangers? Same powers, same weapons as I have. Get 'im, boys!"
With a warcry, my clones attacked the Sith Lord with their sabers, hoping to bring him down by weight of numbers.
OOC: Kage Bunshin, unlike illusionary clones, are clones that can attack. Only drawback is that they use a bit of energy and that they die after one hit, poofing into smoke.

The Kirtir Lord easily blocked the blades with his whips with a loud *CRACK.* "SO! You are better than Jedi! Excellent! This should be one interesting battle then!" Aelikes then hovered 15ft into the air, put away one of the whips, and took out one of his other single hilts then activated it.
"Taste some of this power!" He took his saber and sliced it through the air, and instead of sending out sparks, he used an old brand of Kirtir magic which emitted bright blue swords, which causes a shockwave on impact.
OOC: Flayed fable? It's suppose to be like the sword of Eon's power at the finnal level. If only I could find a picture....
"Whoa!" I dodged the blue exploding swords and made for my own retaliation. I sent large, crackling electroballs at the Sith Lord that would explode and shock him when they got near.

Warrior Shamman, HK-59, the troops, and Lady Nightshade soon found themselfs in the front doors of the Chronoskimmer Project.
"Querry: Should we knock master?"
"No, '59. Seargent?"
<Yes sir?>
"Get some explosives ready around the door. We're going to blast our way through.... Unless, Lady Nightshade has a suggestion. I'm all ears."

"Wait a moment..." She smiled, as an explosion suddenly ruptured the area, courtesy of Daniel and his friends mining the front entrance. "My brother is clever, very clever. You'll need a new sergeant."

"Correct." She said, and curled lightning around her hands and lashed them out at other mines, clearing a path to the doorway. Her lightning is not as powerful as her brother's, but it'll do for now. "Let's go."

“Here we go.” said Belmont quietly on the radio. He lined the shot at the door as the mine blew.
Derek rested his HK MG 36 machine gun on the floor and waited for the first one to enter. Raoul was on knee beside him with his HK G36C assault rifle ready to feel somebody with hot lead.
Demetrius and Makya were about fifty feet behind them. Demetrius has his twin Beretta 93R automatic pistols out and ready. Makya had his Colt 'Python Elite' revolver out and ready. Each of their guns was loaded with AP rounds.
