Bizon has received considerable acclaim for its unique large-capacity magazine, its steadiness during automatic fire, and a close pattern of fire at a range of 25 to 70 m and over. Bizon’s weight and dimensions are widely discussed. Polls among members of special-purpose units, servicemen of Russia’s Armed Forces, and foreign experts show that a majority of them hold that the weight of an unloaded submachine gun (within 2.5 kg) is quite acceptable for a weapon of this class and that it is compensated for by the amount of ammunition: 64 cartridges in each magazine. The number of loaded cartridges (not the weight) places Bizon among heavy submachine guns. It can be successfully used in various tactical situations, including during mobile intensive shootouts at a range of up to 100 m and even more.
The Bizon submachine gun is readily fitted with silencers and modern fire control devices. It has proven highly effective during forced capture of buildings occupied by terrorists.
The pistol-machine gun, model "Bizon-2", is a compact weapon designed for use by armed forces and personnel responsible for the maintenance of law and order when firepower is needed in tight quarters.
The pistol-machinegun allows to deliver fire with two types of cartridges: 9-mm pistol cartridges and modernized pistol cartridges, cal. 9mm.

VSS Silenced Sniper Rifle is a principal component of the BSK silenced sniper system. The BSK system comprises a VSS special automatic sniper rifle, optical and night sights and a special 9 mm cartridge. The system is operational with the Russian special forces and it is used for covert missions. With this in view, the specialized rifle system is designed so as to ensure silent and flashless fire at a range of up to 400 m. In this respect the BSK system is essentially superior to silenced weapons using 9 mm cartridges. The rifle is provided with an automatic reloading system.
The striker and trigger mechanism make it possible to deliver fire by single shots and in bursts. Ammunition is fed from a detachable 10-round magazine. It is also allowed to use 20-round magazines of the AS Silenced Assault Rifle. It is the automatic gas-operated weapon locked by 6 lugs with the bolt rotating about its longitudinal axis. The rifle has a detachable wooden stock. For convenience of firing the stock butt is furnished with a rubber pad. The rifle has a detachable arc-shaped double-row magazine. A special muzzle silencer is used to reduce the crack of the weapon. Safe handling of the rifle is ensured by the safety arrangements preventing discharge in case of the accidentally squeezed trigger, falls, blows or unlocked bore.
The unified attachment bracket allows to use the sights developed on the basis of PSO-1 Day-light Optical Sight and 1PN51 Night Sight . It is easy to use the open type mechanical sight installed on all VSS rifles. The bullet of a sniper cartridge features optimal ballistic characteristics and a high efficiency at the target. In spite of a moderate muzzle velocity the bullet penetrates a vertically arranged 2 mm steel plate or a standard army helmet at a distance of 500 m retaining its lethal effect after penetration. The rifle can be disassembled into three parts for concealed and convenient carriage in a special container made as a brief-case of 450 x 370 x 140 mm. It is a matter of 30 to 60 seconds to assemble and make the rifle ready for fire.

Kedr
http://warfare.ru/0702ey70/pictures/kedr7.gif
Weight of the KEDR, empty is only 1,4 kg (about 3,1 pounds). The KLIN is just slightly more. This is somewhat lighter than even the Czech Scorpion. With the stock folder, the overal lenght of KEDR is just 303 mm (about 12 inches). With the stock extender, the lenght increases to only 540 mm (21,26 inches). The KLIN is 2 mm longer. Cyclic rates of fire are 800 to 850 rpm with standard 9x18 Makarov ammunition and 1,030 to 1,200 rpm when high-impulse Makarov ammunition is fired in the KLIN SMG.
The barrel for both weapons is 120 mm (4,7 inches) in length. The bore has four grooves with a right-hand twist of one turn in 240 mm (9,45 inches). The KLIN barrel has been moved forward in the receiver 2 mm so that the feed ramp and receiver body could be altered to provide releable feeding of the high-impulse cartrige's truncated cone bullet
The buttplate, a machined forging, is welded to to the stamped sheet-metal stock.
The stamped sheet-metal trigger guard has been welded to the receiver at the front and rear. Equipped with a pivoting locking bar, the stamped sheet-metal receiver top-cover has a forward cutout on the right side for the ejection port.
A machined drop-forging, the bolt body has an integral cocking piece on the left side. Its floating firing pin has no spring. There is a spring-loaded claw extractor on the preechface. The fixed ejector is pinned in place on the left receiver wall. The bolt receprocates on rails inside the receiver. Two sets of cut-puts in the receiver rails at the rear permit removal of the bolt group during disassembly.
There is a single-coil recoil spring and conventional guide rod. The rear and of the guide rod is attached to a plate with a pin that enters a hole on the rear of the bolt body when the bolt reaches the end of its recoil stroke. This prevents the bolt group from jumping off the rails because of the disassembly cutouts at the rear.
The front end of the trigger mechanism is held in place by the selector level shaft, which also has a trigger block on it. A protrusion on the selector shaft activates the spring-loaded bolt hold-open after the last shot has been fired. In the safe position, the bolt hold-open pin also locks the bolt in the forward position. Cyrillic selector markings on the receiver are, from top to bottom: "AB" for full-auto, "OD" for semi-auto and the character pi and "P" (the letter R in english) for safe. This is not the same sequence used with the AK series, which is, top to bottom: safe, semi-auto, full-auto

APS Underwater Assault Rifle is intended for combat actions and self-defence from dangerous sea predators. It can be installed on special underwater vehicles and used against mini submarines. The rifle ensures delivery of aimed fire from any position of the swimmer including firing on the move. Additionally, the rifle can be successfully used for self-defence on the ground. The rifle is loaded with MPS cartridge to hit underwater targets from the above-water position and vice versa.
At limit ranges in water the rifle ensures defeat of an enemy wearing a water suit with porolone padding and protected with a 5 mm thick organic glass. The limit ranges of effective fire in water at different depths essentially exceed the visibility limits in most transparent waters of the world ocean.

Secondly, the general-purpose machine gun combines high maneuvering qualities of a light machine gun and fire power of heavy machine gun mount. The PK machine gun on bipod is used as a light machine gun and when placed on a mount it is used as a PKS machine gun mount. The PK machine gun incorporates an original innovation to prevent rupture of the cartridge case, by replacing the sliding feed mechanism with lever feed mechanism.

Kedr
http://warfare.ru/0702ey70/pictures/kedr7.gif

In beginning of 80-th was developed and accepted in service manual antitank grenade charger RPG-29 with a shot PG-29V. This modern weapon of motor-shooting branch for a defeat of all kinds of modern tanks armoured and not armoured engineering, and also alive force in defensive structures of a various type. The weapon, despite of essentially increased on a comparison with RPG-7 mass-dimensional performances, is simple and conveniently in operation, reliably and trouble-free in any climatic conditions. Combat account — Two persons.
The grenade charger for convenience of operation is divided into two parts. In a marching position both parts find room(be located) in special detail for carring with one person. For want of reduction in combat position both parts incorporate by means of the special plug. On a grenade charger fasten the mechanism with the handle, persistent reversible plug and mechanical sight shock& -starting. The grenade charger is completed by an optical sight for shooting in daylight and gear of night vision for shooting at the night.
