Arrest Warrant, OPEN RP, (Attn: El Caudillo and Ottoman Kaif)

Leafanistan
21-07-2005, 00:44
The Leafanistani Ministry of Justice hearby issues an arrest warrant for all members of Global Jihad and especially Omar Al Zarqawi leader of Global Jihad.

He is linked with the nuclear holocaust that ended the Saharistan War that killed 25 million+ civilians and has just been implicated in the assassination of the entire National Socialist Party of Rovonia and the slaughter of 18.4 million+ civlians in the capital of Rovonia.

Current intelligence indicates he is heading for El Caudillo however he may run instead to Ottoman Kaif. If you have any information to their whereabouts contact any member of the Saharistan War Coalition (McKagan, Halberdgardia, Tannenmille, and Leafanistan specifically) to warn us.

A reward of 985 million USD has been offered for the capture of Omar Al Zarqawi, and a lesser reward of 1 million USD for any Global Jihad member.

A Sierra Force team on the deck of an amphibious assault ship prepare for a mission against the heart of the terrorist cell they've been fighting for the last few months.

"Ok boys, ok. Weapons hot, stay on the sides, we're going in low and fast with 1 airship for cover." the team commander said as the Blackhawk and Adams Class helicopters lifted off and flew into a Rovonian river valley.

"On those door guns!" he yelled as he prepared his CX-3 rifle.

After a few moments of this the troops jumped out of the helicopter and set up a roadblock on the border, steathly and anxiously waiting for any car to come towards the border.

Yes...what was that whole Saharistan business about, and does Global Jihad exist as an organization?

OOC: Yes Omar controls it on behalf of his brother and used it to carry out terrorist attacks in Saharistan and was planning a nuclear one in Halberdgardia and Leafanistan. The NSwiki has an article on it: http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Saharistan_War

SkyHawk jumpjets taking off from the escort carriers in the Leafanistani Fleet flew toward the border roaring at nearly Mach 2, MiG-25G Seabats took off from a supercarrier and flew at Mach 3 to quickly set up patrols across Rovonia. BlackHawk helicoptors left the frigates loaded with High Guardsmen/women to set up border patrols. In the port that Leafanistan annexed, APCs began to move throughout the city.

OOC: Does EC know y'all are RP having this large convoy heading towards him? One more thing, what part of El Caudillo is this large convoy heading towards? Because some of El Caudillo is next to the Dominion. Meaning if this large convoy is in my territories (Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republi, Estonia, Georgia [the country, not the state], Hungary, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and Western Russia [Adygeya, Arkhangelsk, Astrakhan, Bashkortostan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Chechnya, Chuvashia , Dagestan, Ingushetia, Ivanovo, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Karachay-Cherkessia, Karelia, Kirov, Komi, Kostroma, Krasnodar, Kursk, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Mari El, Mordovia, Moscow (Province), Moscow (Federal city), Murmansk, Nenetsia, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, North Ossetia, Orenburg, Oryol, Penza, Perm, Permyakia, Pskov, Rostov, Samara, Saratov, Smolensk, Stavropol, St. Petersburg (Federal city), Sverdlovsk, Tambov, Tatarstan, Tula, Tver, Udmurtia, Ulyanovsk, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Volgograd, Vologda, Voronezh]), I will shot to kill and that means everything. The terrorists and the team hunting them.

OOC: We've been told Rovonia borders El Caudillo and that he is heading there but is still pretty far away.
Leafanistan
21-07-2005, 02:10
OOC: Never hear of that. That is something new to me. Did Rovonia and El Caudillo tell you this? Or was it only Rovonia, who told you this?

The ATTN nations are what Rovonia told me border him. Of course I trust Rovonia as much as I'd trust a piece of paper with a particulury red rash.

OOC: Currently McKagan stands on the border waiting to intercept anyone who comes near. Leafanistani Troops also patrol the border, however no soverignty will be violated. He will be brougth to justice before he gets close enough.

After throwing Omar on the ground, cuffing him, and making sure he didn't have any explosives or drugs on him (this included a dental check,) Omar is loaded into a Blackhawk helicopter to be transported back to the battlecruiser out in the ocean.

"Sir, we've got him." a soldier reported back to the officer who was in command of this operation.

"Ok, call in the transport and the Adams, we're getting back to the ship." the Major in command of the extraction said.

"Ok boys, into the helo, now!" a Leiutenant holding the rear of the formation yelled as he walked behind his troops.

Both Omar and 38 troops (counting the Sierra Force party i originally send), along with 1 support helicopter, are on their way back to RMS Slither.

Congratulations to you and your men on the capture of Omar al Zarqawi. Global Jihad may not be defunct yet, but they'll be hurting with the loss of their leader.

I am wondering, however, what you plan to do with him. The HCIA happens to have some great interest in interrogating him before he's handed over for cryo-freezing. Perhaps we could arrange something before his imprisonment? Again, congratulations.

Thank you,

We are going to interrogate him as well. If your intelligence officials would like, they'd be welcome aboard here on Slither, alternativly we can head to a friendly port in either your homeland or Saharistan to meet with your officials.

We plan to keep him here for several days while he is interrogated, processed, and orientated with prison life. Then he'll be shipped into orbit by one of our Sultan Class Scouts and headed to an undisclosed prison camp in space occupied by the Republican Starfleet (RS).

Once there he will be allowed to talk to different representation officials at his will, we'll provide the transport to the location to anyone who would normally not be able to make it into space.

We do not yet know if our legal officials will want to freeze him, or if we'll be the only nation prosecuting him. If any other of the SWC nations feel the need to press charges not covered by what we are putting up we'll provide transportation up for them. Futher infomation forthcoming.

Clownshoesia
21-07-2005, 04:42
On most major news stations across the globe, the main topic of discussion was the recent arrest of Omar al Zarqawi and the Global Jihad. However, another bombshell struck the news networks when the traditionally reclusive and isolationistic nation of Clownshoesia released a statement to the world press. As news coming from Clownshoesia is few and far between, normally limited to statesments made within the U.N., this was considered fairly important. The press release read as follows.

"From the desk of Foreman Porkins, current Foreman of Clownshoesia.
In the name of Clownshoes the First, Master of Clownshoesia.

We, the Government charged with operations of Clownshoesia in His name, feel that we should inform the world on our current policy on global terrorism. While the Nation and the Board of Directors, as a whole, feel that the global terrorist networks are not our problem, I would like to state on record that any and all terrorist activities inside our borders will not be tolerated.

Terroristic activities violates our current bans on foreign travel and unauthorized visitation inside our country. As it has already been stated, travel inside and outside of Clownshoesia is strictly forbidden and illegal unless proper visas have been issued. The penalty for such a violation is execution.

Noting that terroristic activities, by their nature, go against governmental functions, this also violates our current ban against non-government sponsored activities and illegal meetings intended to rebel against the government. The penalty for this violation is also elimination.

In closing, I will summarize what I just stated. We will not go out of our way to hunt down terrorist groups outside of our borders, but if any terrorists, rebels, or other anti-government factions or faction members find themselves inside Clownshoesian borders, they will be captured and sent off for "processing" at one of our bio-reclamation facilities.

Thank you for your time."

At this point we do not know if we will give him over to you or fly him off world to our new prison complex. We just built a new prison system that lacks a high profile detainee. If you have intelligence officers who would like to be with the captive you should send them via helicopter or other vessel to RMV Slither.

If there are charges the Leafanistan Judicial System would like to press that are not covered in our document you can have a law team sent to the complex at a later date. For now he's staying aboard Slither, which is at this point one of the most secure locations in the world, for orientation and processing.

Five soldiers in gray/black cammo with black helmets and CX-3 rifles walked to the rear of the ship. A helicopter was preparing to fly close air support for the fleet and it lifted off. The two most inexperienced soldiers tried not to let the loud sound of the supercharged engines on the Adams bother them, but the team commander noted that it obviously did.

As they got to the end of the helicopter runway/landing zone one broke from the formation and went futher towards the rear of the ship. One soldier got on the foward-most part of the gate that would open and kneeled to 1 knee as he looked through his optical sight to make sure there wasn't anyone in the water or out to sea, even though the ships radars would have picked up it long before now.

The final two soldiers walked in and opened small areas on boths ides of a stretch of wall and hit switches to allow the gate to be removed. It was moved towards the rear of the ship. Then they went back and let down the singer sheet of metal that formed a bridge down to the edge of the water. After a few moments handrails had been put in place.

"See, the big thing about this class of ship is that they're designed to be stealthy. And you can't be stealthy without giving up the ability to stick 50 cals on the side of everything with soldiers and ammo crated behind them. We came up with a way to solve that. We have bunkers that are made of a stealthy material on the deck that our soldiers spend their day in, but they look like part of the ship on a radar, and since the ship is basically invisable on radar....well, you get the point. Your helo is probably on the lower level of the hanger, that entier pad you landed on is an elevator that drops down to a hanger, not to mention drive on equipment bays. But that's enough about the technical specs of our ships," the Officer said while turning back around and just about knocking his head off on another pipe.

"Trust me, Lieutenant," Rockwell said as he followed the McKagan men and ONI spooks down to al Zarqawi's cell, "we've gotten good at torture that doesn't have long-term effects on the subject, as our laws allow for some forms of torture to extract information from particularly...recalcitrant captives. We've had practice on criminals back home."

Rockwell smiled and offered his hand. "I've heard much about the ONI. I understand that your agents are quite good at what they do. It's a pleasure to be working with you.

"As for the prisoner," Rockwell said, looking at the McKagan men, then back at the ONI spooks, "have we gotten any information out of him?"

"Nothing that will help you," the Leiutenant began. "We learned the name of a man in McKagan who was going to sell their cell in McKagan weapons and set up an ammunition dump. RMPF picked him up this morning." he said as he continued down a corridor and then a staircase.

"We've not been able to get much. Each time we've started to interrogate him he's gotten bitchy and our security folks have darted him."

"That's the best thing the politicians ever did for our intelligence and police community. A few years back they combined our police departments and Central Intelligence Agency into a single unit. Republic of McKagan's Police Force, or, for short, RMPF. Of course, when we started pulling alot more people off the streets some people called it fascism. We later learned efficency had been boosted to 98% in the homeland and 89% in other nations."

"He say anything in particular when he gets angry? I'm trying to get an idea of his mood, what he's thinking. I want to go in to this interrogation as well-armed as possible. Figuratively speaking, of course."

"When he get's angry we have a few minutes before he gets to the point of needing to be darted. He seems to admit to stuff that he usually wouldn't. It's like he's not even thinking when he's like that. Ask him about his 'plans' too, especially once he's mad."

The Leiutenant turned a corner, and then another in the opposite direction.

"Ok, he's awake. Feel free to go ahead and ask whatever you want, either of you." he said as he unlocked the door and walked in.

"Good", the thinner spook moved forward, reached into his cloak and pulled out a Supersonic Injector, normally used for painless vaccinations, but inside it was filled with THC, enough to make our friend believe he is truly in heaven with 70 virgins. He also punched the prisoner, as he did, the other one moved forward and planted the truth serum in the prisoners glass of water.

"Now," the spook said "we can talk."

"So, Mr. Zarqawi, did you hear about the Global Jihad cells we cracked in Halberdgardia recently?"

(OOC: Who's going to play the part of OaZ during the interrogation? I was going to get Rovonia in here to do it but he slipped off the map.

Rockwell was inwardly amused, but allowed nothing to cross his face. He pulled out a newspaper clipping:

THE HALBERDGARDIAN TIMES, 7/20/05

HFBI Cracks Terrorist Cells

WASHINGTON, D.C.--An official at the HFBI today revealed that HFBI agents, acting on HCIA intelligence, cracked more than a dozen major Global Jihad cells in Halberdgardia, arresting 90 suspected and known terrorists.

The arrests in Halberdgardia were coordinated with similar raids in Ribeirao Preto, where more than 100 Global Jihad insurgents were killed or captured.

The arrests came following the stunning revelation that the country of Rovonia was secretly supporting the terrorist group Global Jihad, who was behind the recent attack on a Halberdgardian military base in Ribeirao Preto, which killed 4 soldiers and wounded several others.

Even more stunning than this revelation was the development of the attempted betrayal of the Global Jihad leadership by the Rovonian government, the failure of which caused the figurative beheading of the Rovonian government and the deaths of more than 18 million civilians in a massive chemical weapons strike orchestrated by the Global Jihad leadership.

Acting on intelligence from unrevealed sources [OOC: this would be the fiber-optic cable tap I performed, and the data Dior transmitted before his death], HFBI agents raided dozens of apartment buildings and homes across Halberdgardia. Dozens of those arrested were on terrorist watch lists, and many others are assumed to be accomplices and subordinates. Among those arrested was Abu Ishmael Al-Sudayeen, the third-highest-ranking Global Jihad member. Al-Sudayeen has close ties to the group's leader, Omar al Zarqawi, and is said "to be cooperating" with HFBI agents and interrogators.

The apartments were also searched, and a variety of evidence was found: hidden stashes of automatic weapons, shotguns, and pistols, with large amounts of ammunition; bomb-making supplies; forged passports; terrorist "instruction manuals" that provide advice to operatives on infiltrating a country, blending in, and carrying out attacks; and various papers. Among the documents was a paper on plans to carry out a nuclear strike against Washington, D.C., detailing Rovonian attempts to acquire a nuclear weapon for use against the capitol. The HFBI and HCIA have stepped up security and intelligence efforts in light of this disturbing discovery, and Secretary of Energy Robin Metzer pledged to increase efforts at further securing nuclear assets within Halberdgardia.

"In light of this new development, it is now more important than ever that we work to further secure nuclear power plants, nuclear waste, and supplies of refined nuclear materials within Halberdgardia. I am willing to work however I can, and as much as I can, to do this," Metzer said today at a press conference following news of the arrests.

In light of the arrests, President Kir Kanos declared the threat from Global Jihad over in both Halberdgardia and Ribeirao Preto, but also urged vigilance.

"Though we have all but eliminated the terrorist presence both on our own soil and overseas, we cannot afford to lower our guard. Global Jihad is not completely defunct, and it would be unwise for us to think so and grow complacent. We must remain ever-viligant against further attacks, for the Islamic fundamentalists will never cease to hate our nation and attempt to destroy what we have created. We will fight them wherever they try to terrorize us or others. We will fight them in the name of freedom and justice," Kanos said at the press conference.

Halberdgardian military forces deployed overseas to Rovonia will be returning home, though some troops will be deployed to the new provincial territory of Coragem. The number of soldiers to be deployed to Coragem is expected to be around 10,000 to 15,000.

"Mr. Al-Sudayeen was a great help in helping us crack down on the final remaining cells in Halberdgardia and Saharistan. Global Jihad has been wiped off the map in those two countries."

Rockwell hoped that al Zaraqwi would get angry, and say something stupid in his anger. His knowledge of Global Jihad's attempts to obtain WMDs would be a great asset...if they could extract it from him...

OaZ tried to remain calm, but it would have to eventually show through to anyone who was paying attention.

"Well... we.. I mean, you will still be destroyed! Next time we won't be so subtle!"

The McKagan Lieutenant laughed.

"So, millions? There's no way to do that through conventional means...."

The Lieutenant paused for a few seconds to let the suspect think.

"Nukes, or some sort of bug, which is it?"

"Infidel! I owe you no answer!"

The conversation was now going in circles. The Lieutenant motioned to one of the ONI agents to go ahead with the insertion of the truth serum.
