The NWS-82 Strategic Nuclear Weapon is a thermonuclear device designed for low-level strategic use. It is manufactured by Haxxori Atomics, a subsidiary of Macrocorp. It is the primary thermonuclear weapons system in the Haxxori atomic stockpile, and it is now available for sale to foreign powers. The only criteria for purchase is the ability of the nation of pay.
Design:
The NWS-82 comes in a number of variants. All share the same durable, reliable physics package, however, which is more than 99% percent reliable and requires minimal maintenance. The weapon is 3.60 meters long and has a diameter of about 40 cm at the widest point. Basic mass is 300 kilograms, or 900 kilograms for the B variants, although this is only the explosive portion of the weapon; the overall weight of the weapon varies on the modification used.
Variants:
--The A variants are the tactical versions of the NWS-82, and the current tactical variant is the NWS-82 A1. Like all other weapons in the NWS-82 series, it is a variable yield weapon. It can be set at .5, 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, or 150 kilotons. It is designed for carriage by high-speed aircraft, and has a special aerial delivery accesory package attached, which includes a GPS guidance system, guidance fins, a navigation computer, a small solid-fuel rocket, and a flight retardation parachute. The weapon masses at 360 kilograms, is 4.00 meters long, and has a diameter of 40 cm at the widest point. $21,000,000 per warhead.
--The B variants are the strategic versions of the NWS-82, and the current strategic variant is the NWS-82 B1. Like all other weapons in the NWS-82 series, it is a variable yield weapon. It can be set at 50, 150, 200, 250, 500, 750, and 900 kilotons, or at the maximum yield of 1.5 megatons. It can be carried either by high speed aircraft or by missile. If carried by aircraft, (NWS-82 B1A) it has a special aerial delivery accesory package attached, which includes a GPS guidance system, guidance fins, a navigation computer, a small solid-fuel rocket, and a flight retardation parachute. The weapon masses at 1000 kilograms, is 4.20 meters long, and has a diameter of 40 cm at the widest point, and sells for $30,000,000 a warhead. If carried by missile, (NWS-82 B1M), it has a special missile delivery accesory package attached, which includes a GPS guidance system, heatshield, customizable missile hardpoints, ABM countermeasures package, navigation computer, and re-entry rocket guidance system. The weapon masses at 1224 kilograms, is 6.00 meters long, and has a diameter of 62 cm at the widest point, and sells for $39,000,000 a warhead.
--The C variants are the earth-penetration variants of the NWS-82, and the current earth-penetration variant is the NWS-82 C1. Like other weapons in the NWS-82 series, it is a variable yield weapon. It can be set at 50, 150, 200 or 350 kilotons. It has been customized for ground-penetration by being placed in a special conical sleeve, which consists of a layered tungsten-depleted uranium composite material, designed to allow the weapon to penetrate the ground through virtue of its immense speed and mass. It is designed for carriage by high-speed aircraft, and has a special aerial delivery accesory package attached, which includes a GPS guidance system, guidance fins, a navigation computer, a small solid-fuel rocket, and a flight retardation parachute. The weapon masses at 800 kilograms, is 7.00 meters long, and has a diameter of 60 cm at the widest point. $35,000,000 per warhead.

You're selling a hydrogen bomb? Wet or gas?
Well, it'll be good for comparison testing...

Hmm, I recall reading somewhere that thermonuclear weapons have a certain minimum yield, e.g the lowest yield at which they can achieve supercritical mass and go nuclear. That limit was around 100 kilotons IIRC.

The yield would be effected by the nuclear trigger and the method of causing the reaction, as far as I know.

Yes naturally because those determine the efficiency of the reaction, however I would recall that there is a limit of some kilotons below which the nuclear reaction cannot reach a sufficient critical mass.

It doesn't always go thermonuclear. You can set it below the critical point and only the fission bomb will go off. Now, is anyone interested in buying this thing? Come on...we only discriminate based on your ability to pay, and we are perfectly happy to sell nuclear weapons to tinpot dictators, vicious tyrants, and terrorist organizations! Come on, people!
