OOC: It's important to understand that at this time in history most Irish people wanted home rule quite like what canada in this alt history has been granted. They did not want Ireland to be separate from Britain but the were fanatics which at this time were the fenian association that secretly plotted rebellions etc to get the British out of Ireland. The were looked down upon and not many people agreed with them so when i post if im the fenians in one post then the mp's in another don't mix them up like holding something against me that the fenians did or getting their views mixed up. Ireland has a very confusing history and its important to try and get a grips of it.

The Dublin Times
The Call for Home Rule Gets Stronger

Today further protests were held at landmarks around Dublin and in other parts of the country. There point clear...Home Rule for Ireland! This view has been echoed around the country and thanks to the Home Rule party it has been brought to london and John Redmond, MP, is bringing our thoughts to westminister palace itself. It is clear today what the Irish want and they wont stop until they get it.

Dear sir,
As you know the call from Ireland is strong and clear, we want home rule. Our basic right as a loyal nation of The British Empire. We have stood by you in times of trouble and beside persecution from former leaders and english men we have still remained loyal and kept the emglish philosophy of the "Stiff Uper Lip". We call on you my estemmed minister to heed the calls of the Irish people and give them what they deserve Home rule. We wish to remain part of the UK and the British Empire just that we can have a parliament of our own to discuss our issues but all foreign affairs will be handled by the Parliamne tin Westminister palace. I sincerely hope for us all you will grant us our wish.

Yours faithfully,
John Redmond,
Home Rule Party

It is good that the Irish people have taken an interest in negotiation and are willing to discuss matters peacefully. This issue has been debated long and hard in the Houses of Parliament and we have finally come to an agreement that Ireland may be given a status as a British dominion, much like Canada or Australia. A regional parliament will be established in Dublin and elections for MPs can begin shortly. In addition this parliament will be granted rights to rule over all the internal affairs of Ireland whilst Foreign matters will be dealt with in Westminster. This will become known as The Home Rule Act (1902), we hope that you will be pleased with this result and wish for a long and peaceful future between our countries.
