Yet another Earth!

Since its the new phad to make Earths, heres my random idea...
I think this has been done before, but died due to lack of publicity.

Basicaly its the year 20--, all the planets govornments have collapsed due to nuclear war/alien viruses/whatever, leaving behind only a few scattered remnants, totaly isolated from the outside world.

Thus you start off in a city of your choice, with ~10,000 people who survived the nuclear/biological holocaust to rebuild, you have a few tanks and rifles, but not much else. You go on to expand and suchlike, eventualy contacting other states and forging treaties and such.

Any interest?

Possibly, possibly.

But, you'd need to have a way to expand REALLY QUICKLY or make a new world from scratch.

Reasoning?

10,000 people and one city is TINY against the backdrop of the world...

...but I'll buy it.

Sign me up for the New Californian Republic, out of the small city of Shady Sands, just to the north of the Los Angeles Boneyard.

Actually, the point is moot now, 'cause I just found the other one I was thinking about, made just before I though of this:

Its not the exact same concept, but it'll do.

I also created something to this tone but a it different. It was 2030 and the world infrastructure collapsed(it was the last in a series). You played as a nation that rose out of the ruble and pop was half what it is now. The first one was anarchy in america the second anarchy in europe and the third global anarchy earth but the latter died quickly....

So, I take it that this has been canceled, then?
