SECRET IC:

Presidential Palace; Shelbin, Jarridia

The President and his closest cabinet members sat within the confines of his office. Jarrod sat behind his oak desk, to his right was Secretary of State, Kim Shaffer, and the Secretary of Defense, Keithan Weaver. To his left sat, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Eric Johnson, and the Director of the JIA, Zach Finger.

President Branam spoke calmly, "ViZion has mobilized her military to its full extent, including the entirety of the nuclear arsenal. We, of course, do not see this as a threat. ViZion has long since been our ally, and we must begin taking steps to insure that its security is not tampered with." Jarrod looked around the room, and then continued, "Zach, what information can you tell us about the current, escalating crisis?"

Mr. Finger looked up from his briefcase and quickly began to explain what his opinion in the matter was, "I believe this matter involves the most belligerent members of CAD and other alliances. If only we had more information. Perhaps sending some sort of envoy to Generic Empire, or Doomin..." He was suddenly interrupted by Mr. Weaver.

"No envoy is going to gain us any information!" Kiethan exclaimed, "what we need is to survey the area whether they want us to or not. In fact, why even concern ourselves with the members of CAD? They are below our radar, and shouldn't be a concern to us anymore."

Kim looked at Kiethan quietly then spoke up, "our past dealings prove otherwise. What I propose, and I think you will all agree, is that we should watch Borman Empire for a while, to see what may turn up. This way, our actions can't be seen as military aggression. We would hate to instigate a crisis, that may not have any purpose whatsoever."

"That is a most excellent idea Kim," announced President Branam, "Keithan, mobilize a small portion of the navy to the area around Borman Empire. Get close enought o survey the incoming, and outgoing messages and watch the locations of their military, but stay far enough away so they will not feel threatened. We want to insure that we mean no harm to their lands."

"Yes sir, it will be done at once, " replied Keithan.

--------------------------

The plans were drawn, and the following military is being mobilized.

14,000 Marines

Navy
5,000 Men

2 Carriers
4 Battleships
10 Destroyers
8 Cruisers
12 Submarines

Air Force
2,000 Men

45 F-15
70 F-16
50 F-22

This force has been mobilized to a secret, undisclosed location off of the shore of Borman Empire. No military aggression is to be expected, for this is a peaceful mission. No embargo has been ordered, and no trade lines will be tied up due to this Mobilization. At current, peace reigns between these two nations.

The ships cut silently through the still water of the night. Creeping ever closer and closer to the destination point near Borman Empire. Admiral Jonah McGee turned to his crew, and spoke calmly.

"We have almost reached our projection point. The dim lights on the horizon are the cities of Borman Empire. We should be on the full lookout, for we are in hostile waters. Beyond this area is the lands of Doomingsland and Generic Empire. Our surveillance should be accurate and quick, to avoid any sort of retaliatory actions by those two, or Borman Empire. We were given strict orders to only view and make no actions towards the populace, unless further instructed." The men nodded, and Jonah looked ahead again. "I want our first mission tonight. We will report and record all ground, air, and naval activites. If they're up to something, we'll find it. All of Jarridia is counting on us men. Let's not fail our home!"

They all disbanded, and the assignments were handed out among them. This first night, 50 jets were to take off. They were told to fly low, and avoid as much radar contact as possible and to make note of any suspicious activity, otherwise, they were not to enter any fully restricted airspace, but nothing had been noted on Borman Empire's files within the Jarridian National Library.

Around 3 a.m, the jets took off from their designated carriers, and approached the coast of Borman Empire, nothing had been seen so far, but the night was young. They cut through the night sky smoothly and quickly, barely leaving a mark. Drawing every closer to the dark, shrouded nation.

OOC: Yeah guys, if you cant see the relevance this poses to the big rising incident...god save you

My cousin's over and will be sleeping over so I cant write anything right now. Also FYI, Im surrounded by nations in CAD, so to get to my waters or relatively close to them you have to go through and stop in waters of CAD nations. So your tresspassing on someones water, and someone IS GOING TO EAT YOU!!! I mean...know you're there.

The fighters continued along their solemn path. Cutting through the moist night as the moon rested quietly over the ocean. They darted in and out of the low clouds, barely visible to the naked eye as they zoomed over head. They grew closer and closer to Bormanian airspace, each mile seeming to go by faster and faster. Upon reaching the slim outskirts of the Bormanian boundary, the pack split in half, twenty five headed towards the north, in the cold direction of Forge City, while the other 25 headed south along the coast line.

The jets formed into a line, one in front of the other, then arranged themselves at different levels in a diagonal, one above the either. This created a sweeping effect, as they raced along the Bormanian Airspace line. The moon still shown brightly, as mixed signals continued to fill the cockpits. The dim lights of the cities and towns moved by so quickly, it was difficult to tell an exact location, from a geographical standpoint.

The Northern Team finally reached Forge City, and recieved orders to continue towards New Freudian Territory. While the Southern team turned left around Borman Empire's peninsula, and made their way into the South Sea of Generia. The night was still young, as the jets whizzed by, just barely outside the Borman Empire Airspace.

JSTARS Aircraft 'Mother Goose One'

Flight Lieutenant Octavius was tired. He'd been airborne for the past twenty-four hours, recieving roughly an hour of sleepless rest. For once, coffee mugs were allowed at the work stations. Better to get the screens wet then have an airman collapse on it unconcious. He leaned back in his chair, sipping his coffee, staring at his radar screen. There'd been little of interest the past shift, but according to intel, they'd be seeing something entering CAD waters momentarily.

Beep beep beep

As the radar waves bounced off of something, Octavius instantly snapped to full attention.

Right on schedual.

"Sir! Recieving radar contact, grid coordinates Alpha-five-niner, heading 019."

Octavius' superior, Colonel Gaesius, immediatly walked over and glanced at his screen.

"Right on time. Alright, I'm forwarding this to Crematoria. Good work, El-Tee."

"Thanks, sir."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Jaridian vessels were, in fact, passing right through Doomingslandian waters. Not a good thing for them. They may have not known this, but Doomingsland claimed waters as far out as their land based anti-shipping missiles would reach: seven hundred naughtical miles. This, of course, wasn't easily enforced, and was more often than not ignored.

However, now that defensive forces were on full alert, anything straying within Imperial waters or even the waters of other CAD nations would be destroyed without warning. This particular incedent was playing right into the Emperor's hands. If this went the way he wanted, he would end up with a sizable group of foreign hostages and send a message to anyone seeking to oppose the CAD. That, and he'd get to test out some new toys.

The commander leading the mission to crush the Jarridian Navy, Commander Gaius Quintus, was very experienced in anti-shipping ops. He and his squadron of eleven other pilots would be granted a seemingly easy task: fly to the correct waypoint and press the big red button labeled 'FIRE'. That was all that was required of them.

The airfield tarmac was lit up by red strobe lights, making for an erie atmostphere. The air was filled with the sounds of engines starting, the shouts of the crew chiefs as they tried to get in last minute inspections. He walked along the pavement towards his B-3A Archangel medium bomber, which sat parked and fully loaded. He carried his helmet in his left hand, gripping the ladder that lead to the cockpit with his right.

This was a one-seater aircraft. Although it made the longer missions somewhat more boring, he liked having all of the controls of his bird at his command. He slid into the cockpit and strapped on his flight helmet, motioning for the crew chief to seal the canopy.

As he taxied, he went over the mission briefing. Jarridian naval vessels were passing through Imperial waters. He was to blow them up. Simple enough. Funny thing was, he'd never even heard of Jarridia before the briefing. He simply assumed it was another one of those human rights obsesed leftist nations that so plagued his homeland.

A quick salute to the control tower, and he was cleared for takeoff. As he pushed the throttle forward, the aircraft shot forward at incredible speed, putting him airborne in under ten seconds. And he was off.

As his airbase was located near the coast, he only had to fly for about thirty minutes to reach Waypoint Alpha. Now came the fun part,

"Hammer One, Hammer One, master arm engaging." he said calmly over the radio, confirming that he'd armed his AGM-250 Caesar anti-shipping missiles,

"Hammer One, you are cleared to launch the weapon," responded his control aircraft.

Thumbing the red switch located on his joystick, the bomb bay doors swung open, revealing four anti-shipping missiles. Four more hung on under wing pylons. Suddenly, the weapons detatched themselves and ignited their solid fuel rocket engines, lighting up the night sky around them. All around him, his squadron carried out the same process until the sky was filled with a swarm of deadly fireballs.

The ninety-six missiles shot across the sky at low altitude achieveing a velocity of mach three. They'd continue like this until they came within forty miles. It was then that the rocket engines would detatch, and the warheads would plumet to the ocean. It would then become evident that they were no longer missiles, but torpedoes. Magneto-hydrodynamic drives would kick in, pushing the torps to twenty-five knots.

Due to the fact the torpedoes were using MH drives, they would be virtualy silent, nearly impossible to pick up on sonar. They would home in on the sound of the enemy ships with passive sonar, and come within eight miles. Then the final attack stage would commence. The MH drives would detatch, and the supercavitating engines would kick in as well as active sonar. The torps would begin to supercavitate, pushing them to 100 knots, reaching their targets in a matter of minutes, giving little or no time for evasive maneuveres.

As the water was filled with all of the torpedoes, enough explosives were in place to destroy even a super dreadnought. The waters were now VERY dangerous, with nintey-six torpedoes with 600lb warheads streaking towards the enemy fleet at high speed...

Now for the good part. By the way, good post Doom, I was hoping you'd take the first step.

IC:

The ships sat quietly in the waters, all that could be heard was the gentle roar of the engines in neutral. Admiral McGee was standing in the bridge looking out over the dark waters, while the crew shuffled around behind him. All had been quiet since the fighters were making their way around the Bormanian Airspace. Suddenly, the computer screens flickered a bit, and the sound of beeps and whistles filled the room. McGee had dozed off a bit in the silence, when one of the crew yelled "ADMIRAL!" He whurled around where he stood and responded with, "What is it?"

The man answered, "Not sure but we have multiple incoming. Infact this half of the screen is almost full, and they are moving extremely fast."

The Admiral walked over to the screen and looked for a moment, then he suddenly snapped awake. He exclaimed with alarm, "Evasive action! We're under attack. Get all the jets in the air, and hurry!"

The alarms sprang to life, and soon the decks of the two carriers is crowded with men and jets, the tower cleared as many as possible to take off before the attack could be completed. The other ships within the fleet attempted to safeguard the carriers, in hopes of atleast sustaining damage to carry out the rest of the mission.

As jets began filling the air, it became purely evident that the cause may be lost. Immediately after a few moments had passed, the first casualty took place, the JSS Kasilyn, a Battleship, became engulfed in flames and quickly sank to its ultimate grave. The barrage continued until all that was left was 5 submarines, 1 cruiser, 1 destroyer and the two carriers. However the first carrier, the JSS Madison, had been severly damaged and was quickly following her fellow ships to the bottom of the sea.

Admiral McGee lifted his blood covered head up from his crouched position in the bridge of the JSS Austin. He looked at the other men starting to get up and shouted, "Radio the base, tell them what has happened. Send the jets that we have up in the direction the missiles came from. They are to attack anything any other jet they see in the skies, is that understood?"

The men nodded and quickly attempted to get the bridge fully online. They had no idea who had just attacked them, but they knew it wouldn't be the last.

------------------

The transmission of the attack finally reached the Jarridian city of Kiakor, and was then rushed to the President himself. President Branam was not at all shocked at the word of the attack and immediately called a meeting for the next action.

"Do we have any idea who is responsible for these attacks? Was it Borman Empire, or was it someone else?" he said with a calm yet urgent tone.

Mr. Weaver looked at him and responded, "All we know is that the missiles came from the direction of Doomingsland, and are aware that many of our fighters have quickly attempted to chase down any Doomingsland forces in the sky."

"Excellent," said Jarrod, "but we need more. I want a full run down on our history of Doomingsland, and I want more forces mobilized immediately. They will not get away with attacking us in friendly, international waters."

"Well sir, thats just the thing, "said Kim, the secretary of state, "It seems as if they weren't international waters at all. In fact, they were and extended portion of Doomingsland. SO we were trespassing on sovereign borders."

"That is no excuse," scoffed Jarrod, "we were unaware of that fact, and if it made them so unhappy, they could have sent a quick transmission. It is too late for this now. We must be ready. Put all of our homeland forces on high alert, and raise the alert to DA 3. We must remobilize the military to insure our victory in this new conflict."

"Of course sir!" responded Keithan proudly.

The aircraft had quickly retreated from their firing position, kicking on their afterburners and accelerating to mach three, heading straight for home. This was easily fast enough to escape the horribly outdated Jarridian aircraft. Once they were over land, they dropped to low altitude and slowed down for their final approach. They were home free, more or less.

Of course, there was always the threat of the enemy fighters somehow catching up. Luckily, an air defense grid sat between them and the enemy air group.

Radar Station Charlie-Two-Two-Six

Corporal Junius, a reservist in the Imperial Army, had had a long and boring shift thus far. Of course, word had only recently reached him of possible hostiles approaching the coast. He simply sipped his coffee and waited for this immenant engagement. He wiped sweat from his brow, realizing how hot it was down in the bunker.

If only that f*ckin' fan would work... he though to himself before being interupted by the pinging of his radar console,

Looks like intel was right for a change.

"Sergeant!" he yelled to his superior in the next room.

"Yeah?"

"We've got multiple contacts, vector 030, they're coming within range of our Apostles."

He said that as he watched the screen. The sergeant was now looking over his shoulder, breathing heavily, to see if the corporal wasn't shitting him.

"Alright, then. We've already got authorization to fire. Good work, corporal."

And that was that. The sergeant disappeared into the next room, the launch control center, and relayed the information to the lieutenant in charge there.

The LT was in direct command of several VLS batteries of Apostle surface-to-air missiles, Angelus theatre surface to air missiles, and several batteries of M-171 low altitude air defense systems. All of this was centrally linked to the massive AMR-10G high powered milimetric wave radar that gave them radar coverage extending out to six hundred naughtical miles.

The command section was buried five miles inland, roughly fifty feet underground in a concealed bunker.

The VLS system was carefully concealed, the silo doors made to blend in with the desert sand. It was about to become apparent the desert wasn't as deserted as it appeared. Hydrolics crooned as the silo doors swung open, and a deafening roar occured as rocket engines ignited, sending one hundred missiles rocketing into the sky in under thirty seconds. This lit up the sky so much that it was later said that the nearest town, nearly 100 miles away, could see the distant fireballs amidst the stars, some mistaking them for UFOs. Those some were ordered to report to their nearest re-education center shortly thereafter.

Getting back to the topic on hand... Two hundred Apostle surface to air missiles streaked towards the enemy fighter formation, launching when the enemy was one hundred and twenty miles from the coast. They targetted everything, ranging from the aging F-15s to the newer F-22s (not even their stealthy features protected them from the high powered radar and other advanced systems).

The missiles would reach a velocity of mach four, maneuvering via 3D thrust vectoring and forward thrust nozzles, allowing for them to simply come back for another pass should they miss their target initialy. They would home in using data from the land based radar, but also data from a nearby AWACS. They would also use internal LIDAR, LADAR, and IR systems, making countermeasures virtualy useless.

In the meantime, the bombers would be rearming for another attack on the enemy navy...

"Sir. The Jarridian fleet in Doomingsland waters has come under attack, basically all sunk. Also, they have roughly 50 planes I believe on the outside of our airspace."

"You know what Bhalk said. Any vizion planes of planes of a nation allied to Vizion circling or outside of Borman controlled airspace are to be shot down without warning. But that is relatively recent news, they may not have heard of it. Radio those planes and tell them to get out or we will open fire. Also, prepare a small armada to go out and finish the Jarridian force, only after offering them the chance to leave."

Radio Transmission to Jarridian fighters:

You may or may not be aware, but we have orders to shoot down any planes allied to Vizion which come in immediate range, including outside of Borman controlled airspace without warning. You qualify as a target and can be shot down, we warn you now because you may not have heard. Leave now or be taken down.

Communique to Jarridian fleet:

Out of one of the Seering Sister ports a small armada sailed out to finish off the wounded Jarridian force.

By now the sun was beginning to rise on the raging ocean beneath. The 70 jets that had survived the attack on the small Jarridian naval force stealthfully made their way towards the coast of Doomingsland. Darting out from behind eachother, and the clouds..they approached at full speed.

Doomingsland's accusations of the Jarridian fighters as being 'outdated' were false, for the fighters themselves had been modified and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment durring the Jarridian Military Renovation over the past few years.

As the jets continued forward, finally crossing over the coastline onto Doomingsland soil, the high commander, Mark Ilitson spoke to the men, "Remember, they are tricky in this land. Keep your eyes and ears open for the first sign of attack. If we remain vigilant, we can avoid their weapons."

The other pilots agreed, and soon their aim was set on a small sized city, of no more than 200,000. The formation increased in size and spread out to make sweeping the city that much easier. As they closed in, the alert bells rang in the cockpits of incoming enemy fire from the desert. The pilots quickly attempted evasive manuevers, however many were unsuccessful and the jets exploded in mid air. While others managed to make it through just enough to begin firing on known military hotspots and the industrial sector of the city. Smoke rose from the bombed areas, but no estamation on destruction at this time.

All in all, only 25 jets were able to be saved from the missile launch. The others had fallen to their deaths, but served Jarridia to their utmost. Back home, they will be saluted for their mighty valor in battle. May god have mercy on their souls.

----------------------

Back at the temporary naval site, the ships began to make way out of Doomingsland's waters. During the air raid, the naval base in Kiakor, Jarridia ordered all of the ships to return to Jarridia immediately. Once the jets had returned. They would soon be replaced with a much larger force, that was currently being prepped alongside Utcheeri and WWA Security Forces.

Together, the entire WWA would swarm Doomingsland. Attempteing to overwhelm even their best technology.

Official Communication to Borman Empire

OOC:Well, basicly what I was trying to say was I had a high enough powered radar to detect your aircraft with relative ease. That coupled with the vast array of the missiles' own detection systems made escaping detection nearly impossible. Then the missiles themselves were actualy more maneuverable than your F-22s, as they utilize 3D thrust vectoring rather than 2D (as on the F-22). And finally, the majority of your aircraft would have three missiles tracking them at once, the remainder having two track them.

Plus any upgrades, unless they were MAJOR upgrades (also, if you could detail the upgrades, that would be very helpful), would have little effect. Wow, I forgot how much I hate making long OOC posts...

I'm not gonna bitch about your losses, but just keep that in mind the next time :)

IC:

City of Ferrium

The air raid sirens sounded as enemy aircraft swept across the skies. Almost instantly they were met by an insane barrage of missiles and anti-aircraft fire. The Jarridians were about to learn the first rule of Doomingslandian warfare: everyone's a combatant.

Civilians, after attending a class on aircraft recognition to assure they didn't accidentaly kill any Imperial aircraft, were eligable to own advanced shoulder launched surface to air missiles. As a result, many civilians, sitting on their roofs, a Python surface to air missile at their command, a beer in their free hand, let loose with a barrage of deadly IR and LIDAR guided missiles, which then accelerated to mach three, maneuvering via 3D thrust vectoring.

At such close ranges, the Jarridian aircraft had little hope of evading the missiles.

Then, to make matters even worse, were the military air defenses in the form of M-171 anti-aircraft batteries. These weapons, positioned on the building roofs, were equiped with seven-barreled thirty milimeter cannons along with medium range Pilum surface-to-air missiles and short range Python missiles. Their detection systems were some of the best in the world: LIDAR/LADAR systems, electro-optical tracking, infared mapping and tracking, milimetric wave radar. All of this was combined to plot the best possible fireing solution for the guns and aid in the guidance of the missiles.

Flying through the city to their targets was like running a deadly guantlet, alight with hundreds of missiles and thousands of 30mm high-explosive air bursting rounds.

As the enemy aircraft approached the wide-open industrial sector, the word 'vulnerability' would achieve a new meaning, as fifty such sights opened up with Python short range missiles and their 30mm cannons from seemingly every direction.

If they somehow survived that, they would once again have to run that firey guanlet they had to survive on their approach to target, then somehow escape the desert that had claimed so many of their comrades.

Of course, upon reaching the industrial sector, the surviving aircraft had a chance to shower the factories with rockets and cannon fire, ripping several buildings apart in mere seconds. The brilliant display of flame, smoke, and debris filled the sky as the factories collapsed in on themselves, burrying hundreds of workers- civilians - within their firey bowels. There was little hope for escape. Then came something even worse. Three massive smoke stacks, now without a base, slowly began to tip over. The massive brick towers began to slowly fall towards another factory complex, comparatively lightly damaged. That would soon change. As they tipped over more and more, they began to pick up speed. When they made contact with the factory roof, the factory was literally flattened. Secondary explosions began to occur rampantly, blowing the entire structure to bits, sending massive chunks of debris soaring through the air. This acted as shrapnel, raining down on onlookers, crushing many beneath their weight and velocity.

Onlookers stared on in horror as their friends and neighbors were burried alive in the very building material their workplaces were constructed of, and rage flowed through their veins. These infidels would pay...

Casualties would later be estimated at nearly 500 civilians and fifty military personel touring the factories.

OOC:Would you happen to have AIM or MSN? I'd love to include a plotline in this war. Also, how many pilots ejected over the desert (and over the city, for that matter)?

_________________________________________________________________

Once again, the bombers lifted off from the airbase, loaded with a fresh array of missiles. Colonel Quintus was having a field day. He couldn't wait to unload his next payload on the surviving infidel scum that attempted to flee the waters of his people. His children would have a host of new bedtime stories after today.

Of course, word came over the radio that there was a chance the Jarridian fleet would surrender. This wasn't very pleasing to him at all. He prefered to kill them to the last man.

As the bombers lifted off once more, a transmission was sent to the surviving Jarridian ships:

Attention unidentified vessels:
You have tresspassed in Imperial waters.
Power down your engines and surrender immediatly.
Failure to comply will result in your destruction.
This is your final warning.

“Well, looks like Jarridia is leaving. Bring our planes and ships back.”

“Sir. We just got some info from Doomingsland. Jarridian air forces which survived the attack on their navy were sent to Doomingsland and bombed several factories. Also, it looks like Jarridia is going to try and get the WWA to smack Doomingsland.”

“Shit…Doomingsland has saved us many times, and we can’t let them fall. If those jets get back, they too may go for a round on Doomingsland.”

“Like Shenyang letting ViZion’s planes by.”

“Yes, exactly.”

“Shit, lets hope they aren’t carrying nukes. All right, we’ll need to take them out. How many F78s are in the air?”

“By Jarridian planes, 125.”

“Alright, send 3 after half of them and two after half.”

The F78s in the air accelerated on their approach of the Jarridian planes. They activated active camouflage, making them invisible to the naked eye. But their was still the issue of radar, so they utilized their ARCMD systems into making the Jarridian radar think the planes were coming straight at them, rather than from behind them.

Then as the planes got within range each one fired ten of seventeen AIM-156 HAMRAAM missiles at respective Jarridian targets. These missiles used active radar in conjunction with an inertial reference unit and microcomputer system as tracking along with a LIDAR system and 3D thrust vectoring for extra maneuverability.

Now 25 of the Jarridian jets had 30 HAMRAAM missiles flying at them while 25 other jets had twenty. Quite a deadly situation.

Then the F78s opened up with their CFA-760D III 30mm electro-thermal EMAS/PGAS cannon to destroy whatever few planes survived the first barrage of missiles.
------------------------------------------
The planes that had taken off from the Mattian air base were already well within range of the Jarridian naval forces.

They had received orders not to destroy them because it seemed like Doomingsland was forcing them to surrender. Most of them returned home except for a single group of 8 who activated active camouflage and their AFFC/SIRR-12 active radar cancellation system, so the enemy’s radar could not pick them up. They then split up into two group of four and flanked the enemy ships, well out of Jarridian range, but within range to destroy them if they did not surrender.

With Doomingsland naval forces presumed on the way and a wing of Borman F78s ready to annihilate what was left of the Jarridian navy two fold the small Borman armada returned to port.

The jets attempted to turn around and make their way back to the carrier, but it was too late. The sky was already full of missiles streaming towards them. The barrage overwhelmed the evasive system and ended what had been a successful venture. Only 10 pilots were able to eject over the city, and another 5 had been reported in the desert.

The carrier group began to move as they waited for the fighters to catch up to them. All they wanted was to leave these horrid waters and get back home. A brief message of surrender crossed the Admirals desk, but it was soon covered up by maps, and therfore never seen by the Admiral or any other naval personnel. The order went through to go full power ahead, and get home as soon as possible. The carrier thrusted forward into the water, and the other ships soon joined along side it.

Soon, the radio crackled on, then began to ring clear. "USS Kasilyn, this is Lt. Waterson, requesting permission to land. We've made it ba....." The message suddenly went dead. Admiral McGee picked up the reciever and asked cautiosly, "Lt. Waterson, this is Admiral McGee. Over." There was nothing on the other side, "Lt. Waterson, please respond, over." There was still nothing, and suddenly the radar went blank. The Jarridian jets were no longer identifiable. While looking out the windows, peices of debris and shrapnel could be seen whizzing down into the water.

Admiral McGee turned fast and shouted, "Bring the cruisers around! Something is coming, we must be ready to fight..." But it was too late, the Bormanians had already launched their treacherous and dastardly blow. There was only enough time for a few missiles to be launches in retaliation, before the ships were no more. Thousands had lost their lives over the last day, many more were soon to follow. No word of survivors, and no word if any Bormanian planes had been hit in the retaliatory attack.

WWA Headquarters; Westwood, Jarridia

A general meeting of representatives was taking place. Marissa Stassin, WWA President was in the forefront, directing the meeting. She states,

"A very trying time has come upon us. One of our own members has attacked Jarridia, and therefore prompted their removal from the WWA. Borman EMpire's flag has been lowered and burn, representing the disrespect they have shown us, and our allies. Now the question comes, should we allow Jarridia to fight their own war, or shall we take up arms and fight along side them, and secure our own place in the world, and our right to live safely. I urge you all to vote yes in declaring a formal state of war on Borman Empire and Doomingsland.

The time has come to use our might and put these evil forces down. We must prove our worth, and fight through to absolute victory. They have attacked Jarridia with no warning to leave their waters. They have destroyed forces of our fellow ally, for no reason whatsoever, except their own greed. Let us go to Jarridia's aid, and fight for what is right in this world."

--------------------

War Room; Secret Location

President Jarrod Branam was furious at the conditions taking place in the CAD waters. "The problem is we aren;t doing enough!, "he yelled, "We need more forces in the area. I want us to mobilize our military at once. They will not get away with this massacre."

Keithan Weaver nodded, and said "We could always fall back on nucle...."

Jarrod cut him off saying, "No! We will not use nuclear weapons. No matter how vile these people are, they don't deserve to die like that, nor do our innocent Jarridians."

Keithen responded, "Then we shall mobilize at once. I will personally order our troops to be on the move."

Jarrod looked at his long time friend, now Secretary of Defense and said, "We must do everything to secure our victory. We are missing our simple frame of mind. Nothing is impossible for Jarridia."

Keithan nodded and left the room. Jarrod sat back and began to prepare a letter for the leader of Borman Empire.

Official Communication to Borman Empire

No longer shall we fall within your injustice to our people. You have promised a peace accord, which you promptly terminated. Your treachery will be long remembered, and you will suffer the onslaught you have lead against us. You must be shown the ways of justice. You shall prepare for war, as we have now prepared. The battles that follow having been building for some time. Now this has come to the surface, and there is no turning back. The rifts between our nations are too great for peace. War is our only choice. May God have mercy on your soul. The deepest pits of Hell are reserved for betrayers and backstabbers.

Official Statement from Arcadia, Euroslavia

"It is with great displeasure that we have been paying attention to this trifling situation, and are disappointed in the fast actions of Doomingsland, and their attack on our fellow Westwood Alliance member, Jarridia. For now, we will issue an official condemnation of the attack, as well as the nation of Doomingsland itself. Euroslavia is willing to send medical aid to Jarridia, to help in the event of an all-out attack on Jarridia itself.

For now, the government of Euroslavia does not wish to involve itself in war, and will remain neutral for the time being, though politically, we support the government of Jarridia. This situation will be continuously monitored, in the event that the war expands, and involves more nations intertwined with Euroslavia itself, and the Westwood Alliance."

Also, Thomish Empire, I assume you are declaring war on me because your in the WWA. And, I dont have a battleship asleep alone out no where.

And if you are at war, Id be sure to get you when you came in range, which is basically anywhere. But once you come within 700 miles of my nation I'd open fire. So I'd appreaciate (Sp?) it if you backpeddled 700 miles.

OOC: just trying to help you out... that's called godmodding... AKA cheating. You can't say you get through his defenses and then bomb him get out. You RP your attack, he RP's his defense... meaning he'll be shooting at you... you say how many of your planes were destroyed or heavily damaged, and then w/ the planes you have left, you say you're dropping the bombs, he RP's defense and will determine how many hit, if any, and the casualties as well.

Surrounding the tanker were a group of Torpedo boats, as well as a BattleCruiser.

7 PT boats
1 BC Topaz
2 Ageis SAM Cruisers.

BC Battle Cruiser Topaz 4 20 In guns, 12 Tomahawk Lauchers
6 Gattling AA guns.
Ageis Cruisers 6 Long Range Surface to Air Missile defense systems. 2 Laser anti air systems, 3 Gattling AA guns.

PT Patrol boats, 6 Torpedo Tubes one use, 5 in defensive gun.

(The Gustav was orginally A WW2 Railway gun and the largest gun ever made, the tanker is an experimental ship containing a single oversized gun,)

IC:

City of Ferrium

As the poor Jarridian pilots that had been unfortunate enough to survive the battle floated towards the city below them, they quickly realised that Doomingsland was most likely not a Geneva Convention signatory. Upon touching the ground, each of the men were quickly siezed by an angry mob, disarmed, and dragged off kicking and screaming towards the town square. This was where public executions took place.

The crowd numbered in the thousands and most of them were armed, the weapons ranging from RPGs to M-30 machineguns, and they were furious. Chants of 'Deus Volt' were rampant through the crowd as the captives were taken to their place of execution. Some of the pilots tried to protest their mistreatment, but were beaten in response.

Upon reaching the square, armored Imperial Guardsmen took custody of the prisoners and bound their hands, dragging them up the steps to the stakes, around which was piled kindling. The Jarridians were to be burned at the stake. Now that they saw what was about to happen, the pilots began to struggle more. This merely entertained the mob and the executioners.

The prisoners were quickly bound to the stakes and a priest read them their last rights. A big, burly man clad in an executioner's mask and camo fatigues held a torch. He smiled sadisticaly beneath his mask. He approached the first stake, lighting the kindling with the torch. Then the second. The third. All the way to the tenth stake. The screams of the men droned on into the night as they were slowly burned alive, their flesh sizzling and melting off of the charred, blackened bone.

A reporter with Imperial News Network was on station to moniter the execution, which was being shown live. The Jarridians could watch them if they happened to subscribe to the right channel...

_________________________________________________________________

Meanwhile, a great hunt began out in the desert surrounding Ferrium. MV-68 Banshee VTOL transport/gunships flew low and slow, scanning the ground with forward looking infared and high powered search lights. Each VTOL had a complement of Mobile Infantrymen to assist in the capture of downed enemy pilots.

Several miles away was an ELINT station, listening in on electronic traffic. If the pilots activated a homing beacon, they would quickly have a swarm of aircraft bearing down on their positions.

Piloting one of the aircraft was Sergeant Cassius Kaeso. He'd just earned his flight wings, and was excited to finally be doing something apart from training excerises. Sitting behind him was with WSO, Sergeant Decimus, in control of the nose mounted 30mm chaingun and rocket pods. It was unlikely any of those would be needed.

The aircraft all had preassigned search patterns, allowing for ground to be more effeciently covered. The WSO had the responsability of monitering the FLIR console, checking for any inidentified heat signatures. As the aircraft flew roughly fifty feet over the ground, kicking up sand around it, Decimus tapped Cassius on the shoulder and pointed towards his own screen. A heat signature. Human.

"Alright, looks good enough for me." replied the pilot, yanking the throttle back and engaging the aircraft in a hover.

The rear ramp door swung open and ropes were dropped down. The futuristic-looking infantrymen slid down silently, quickly establishing a defensive perimeter. Cassius was in command of this unit. He marked a waypoint on his GPS map, and that was transmitted to the men's HUDs. Swiftly and silently, they swarmed the area, the laser spot projectors of their weapons switched on and projecting a beam, their heat vision systems active.

"Have you located their commander' ship?" General Serov said, "Indeed, we have Gustav targeting it as we speak." "Fine then it's time to reply."
We have targeted your ship with our Gustav Cannon, unlike the last shot this round will be filled with High Explosive, A single hit by this gun will destroy any ship in your fleet, you have one minute to depart the area or you will be fired upon by us and our nearby reinforcements. He paused for a moment giving a slient order. If your subs attack we will counter with our torpedo boats, due to their speed your torpedoes will be unable to catch them, any ship we leave undamaged will be sunk by their torpedo barrages.

With just another threat by the Thomish Empire, the minute went up.

Deep in the desert, the five soldiers tried their best to stay alive in the brutal climate of the Doomingsland climate. Without a significant supply of food and water, they knew they would survive long, and they had absolutely no idea where they were. Slowly they began to head in an eastern direction, or atleast they felt it was east. Much of their utilities had been destroyed in the blast and the fall down.

Each one wanted to radio back home, in order to get evacuated, but they knew that would only give their location away to the enemy. Slowly they crept, close to the ground, and as out of sight as possible. It was cooler at night, than it was in the day, and a perfect time to move. Along the horizon they could see lights and movement. Sporadically they would dart down into the sant, attempting to shield themselves from the enemy.

Lt. Harold Freeport was leading the group, who had unfortunately lived for this tale. Suddenly, a bright light flashed in their direction. The five men quickly dropped to the ground and buried themself in the sand. The sounds of a slow moving tank roared towards them. The sounds of men speaking an unknown language rang above them. Their hearts beating with anticipation. The tank began to roll on again, smashing John Whittaker, a 23 year old pilot who just graduated from college. He made no sounds as the heavy beast rolled over on top of him, it was a mere instant death that noe of thim wanted to witness.

After the take moved on, they jumped up and checked eachother.

"Sir, we lost Whittaker." said Thomas Porchy

"Another man down," Harold said with a sigh, "I hate these fucking bastards and they weren't even trying this time."

The men moved on into the night, trying to find a place to hid come daylight.

"So, my brothers, it now comes to war," said the Emperor solemnly from his newly located thrown, now located nearly a mile underground in the command room.

The room had several massive projector screens at the far end, rows upon rows of computers with soldiers manning them facing them. The Emperor had in front of him his top commanders.

"I'm afraid so, my liege," responded General Caius, one of his top advisors, "Now that the infidel fleet has been crushed we can almost assuredly expect another to arise and take its place, along with an invasion army. Like cockroaches, sire. You kill them and kill them, but they always come back."

The Emperor chuckled at that comment.

"Indeed, General. Are the resources in place to execute the Purification Protocol?" he asked in a more serious tone.

"As per your request, my lord."

"Good. Now we play the waiting game."

You guys don't have to, but this is half the war... hell, it's 95% of the war right now! lol

(ooc: sorry if im god modding ... i am new at this... but all you have to do is say that "several suspisious foreigners were arrested" and i would assume you caught my agents(but you couldnt say you stoped everything). one sec while i delete the parliament bit if you dont have one then that wouldn't make sense.... the manta-ray is the focus of my navy and is built for stealth and lightning attacks although the destroyer would have had time to retaliate before my ships got away, but we will leave that part up to them wont we. and you cant tell me what my nation does and doesnt have, my nation focuses on espionage so obviously i have agents(hey check my other posts and youll see i started that a while ago))

OOC: Well I can tell you that you sure has hell dont have agents in my nation. We let very few foriegners into our country, the majority of them allies. And sneaking into my country, youll need a miracle. And my greatest ally got nukes, Im completely locke down. Citizens underground, borders fully locked to all but allied military, there is no way yoru getting in. But even if there was, you'd need to RP it.
