(OOC: 1902)

The leader of the SRDSP, Pablo Iglesias, had his men take up locations in and around buildings, they were all armed with whatever could be found, Swords, Rifles, Bricks, everything, it was to be a great scene, they were attempting to split up the groups of Madrid police forces, they knew that this would be easier if they had to take out small groups rather than a crowd.

Alfonso entered his new office and sat down at his chair. He had his top General come to his office for a meeting...

General Castro: Senor, you requested my presence?

Alfonso: Yes, please have a seat....So what can you tell me about the rebels?

Castro: Our intelligence says they have the support of an overwhelming majority of the population. The Army has already lost 25,000 men to their cause and the Navy has lost two Battleships to mutiny. we have also lost all the artillery in Leon to them.

Alfonso: This is not good. We need to stop them at Leon.

Castro: But senor, they have over 500,000 people there that are armed and we have but 9,000 surviving troops! It's impossible!

Alfonso: May I remind you that I am your king. We need to stop them there. if we can win a battle there then we can prove that the monarchy is not weak!

Castro: Si senor! I will lead 75,000 Infantry and 25,000 Cavalry to Leon. Por le Rey Alfonso XIII!

OOC: just setting the stage for the first battle :) oh and madrid and barcelona are already theirs its leon you need to fight for and mind you you have 25,000 former infnatry, two mutinied battleships, and 4 large artillery guns

Thank you! I will use them well! It is a sad day when the people revolt against their ruler but even sadder when the ruler is what they need.

General Castro led 75,000 Infantry men and 25,000 Cavalry to meet with the 9,000 besiged soldiers. When they got their they met the contingents leader, Colonel Jarugizar. The current condition was explained and then General Castro assumed control...

"Colonel, I want you to take your men to the rear. they've been fighting for a long time and need the rest. Colonel Suarez, come here!"

"Yes sir?"

"I want you to take control of the left flank and tell Colonel Ribero to take the right! I want you each to take twenty-five thousand infantry and twelve thousand cavalry. I will take the remaining twenty-five thousand in the center and the remaining one thousand cvalry will got to the rear with Colonel Jarugizar. we are going to get in a line three ranks deep and march through the city sweeping all in our path. all those that could fire a Rifle were sent up to the front line, they were given a weapon, some dating back to the invention of gunpowder, and sent off behind cover, they prepared themselves awaiting the mass attack from an angry King, the two Battleships and all the artillery waited in reserve ready for the order, a deathly silence filled Leon as the troops waited.

The long line moved forward throught the streets of Leon. The troops fresh from the Spanish-American War were trained and experienced. At the first sight of the enemy the center 25,000 ran into buildings to flush any enemy that would be in there when they found non ethey continued moving forward in groups of 5 thropugh alleyways and such. The cavalry on the outer flanks were galloping forward ahead of the infantry to take the flanks of the massive enemy force of some 500,000. They had yet to recieve any artillery barrages from the stolen artillery and General Castro liked it that way...

The general knew that the Enemy would now be making their way through the city, he immediatly ordered a full bombardment of the City in front of the Revolutionaries line, explosions began to rain down and destroy buildings, the sight was truly magnificent, the front line watched as rubble flew around them.

BASTARDS! thought General Castro. I can't believe that General Lopez defected to Leon!

"Everyone take cover!" it was no use the troops were already scurrying across the streets to charge straight at the lines...They may be experienced but DAMN they're daft! General Castro ordered Colonels Suarez and Ribero were ordering their forces to charge at the enemy and the cavalry was sprinting to the enemys flanks to disable the artillery.

defending the artillery pieces were a handful of untrained mobsters, they had bricks, metal rods, allsorts, they were excited at the sound made by the artllery as it rang off another shot, they were certinantly not expecting Cavalry to charge them.

On the front line, guns fired off, and were quickly reloaded, pistols joined in, but those with old rofles struggled as they attempted to load muskets in under three minutes, they fired off another wave and began to reload again.

Many of the soldiers had fixed their bayonets and were chargeing the enemy fireing at them before crashing into them with their bayonets. It was clear this would devolve into hand to hand combat.

The cavlry had reached the artillery and were massacreing them from atop their mounts. The had a height advantage and would exploit it to the best of their ability.

Steel hit Steel as the two forces clashed across the street, some of the Revoltionarys were fleeing but they were merely cowards, General Lopez ordered his men fall back so that the artillery could get another shining.

"Sir the most recent reports from the battle in Leon have just come back."

"Very well give them to me."

The aide handed the papers over and left the room. King Alfonso began to read over them...

King Alfonso was furious. How could they be so damned good! They're only peasents!

He sent out an order for an extra 25,000 Infantry to bolster the numbers. They would arrive in 12 hours.

(OOC: Kadunas Puppet, ima feeling a little sick, but i've given up some RP's to consilidate into this one)

The Cavalry gunned down the men defending the Artillery, they stood no chance, they were mere Civilians, although they tried their best to defend from the Cavalry they could not, it was much too late for them.

Men on the front line were exuberant, they had ignored the few that had fled and were pleased that the battle seemed to be going their way, this did not meant that they could afford mistakes.

"PULL BACK!!!!!" yelled General Castro as he began to retreat. The men slipped away from the battle and got out of sight. General Castro had new orders...

"I want the 20 top riflemen to take up positions in buildings and I want 2 more riflemen with each of them. We hold until reinforcements get here. Alright those that will be snipers will atempt to take out any men who look like they are giving orders. Those attatched to a sniper will take out any enemy soldier you see. We have 25,000 more men comeing and they have 5 artillery pieces with them. The cavalry is takeing their 4 pieces as we speak and they will soon feel the wrath of what they once controlled!"

The soldiers let out an exuberent cry, "Por Espana! Por el Rey!".

A Frenchmen walks in looking weary from days of marching. He begins speaking in broken Spanish...

"Thank you. It is my pleasure to serve."

Men fleed from the Artillery, they cried out in Spanish "The Artillery is theirs!" Hoping that the resistance would run for shelter away from the artillery, they run as fast as they could knowing that the future of the battle depended on this.

Those at the front heard the cries but ignored them, they felt invincible after the events just passed, they re-armed and got ready for another Spanish assult.

The rifleman trained his scope on a man giving orders and ammunition. The crosshairs over the mans temple. He squezed the trigger and in seconds the man was on the floor. All of a sudden a barrage of bullets came out of multiple buildings...

General Castro could here the firefight that ensued but he was more interested in the columns of Spanish troops nearing the city and the 5 artillery pieces they brought with them...

The cavalry had taken over the Rebel artillery but none were trained in how to use it. They sent a messenger to General Castro saying they had taken the artillery and awaited troops trained in it to operate it...

Gunfire suddenly erupted in the city, the General suddenly took this seriously, he sent a group of a thousand to the artillery pieces in an attempt to retrieve them, this was of course before he was shot, there was now chaotic panic in the streets as resistance fighters attempted to take out the snipers.

1...2...3...the panicing rebels fled like the peasents they were while the snipers made easy work of them. Only two snipers had fallen to enemy fire and the battle was looking up for the Loyalists...

General Castro greeted the leader of the extra 25,000 men. He had them merge with Castros remaining ~50,000 troops. Then he ordered them to barrage the Rebels with artillery followed by a full charge...

As the Rebels ran to the cavalry they were shot up. Then they crashed into the cavalry and they utilized their sabres by decapitateing and dismembering the rag-tag group of rebels...
