GANN News Desk: ~ As you can see, the Cherry Blossom celebration week begins with the displaying of traditional costumes, primarily oriental kimonos, yakutas, chinese dress and more, as females show off their style and grace, and males show off their warrior versions of variously colored Warrior Yakutas, as well as Shrine robes.

"It's a bit of a tight walk in these, but I know the guys are looking at me in this get up." ...one Ascendancy female infered of her green and yellow flower pattern flair.

Hundreds of thousands of inhabited systems in the Sphere have dressed up, as Startica and the Wedding Celebrations continue on without pause. Word is that later we will get a glimpse at the Royal wear for this year from the Palace, as festivals indeed become more colorful than usual for this week.

*Day two*

GANN News Desk: ~ Today we bring special images of holo-cams getting pictures of even Angelics, Krystallians and Avian Lords seen in kimonos and yakutas, which for the avians, the sight is actually impressive when contrast to their feather color schemes.

"Wow, I saw this female Arch-Angel floating by in a silver and white kimono. As if she wasn't glowing enough already." ..a passerby in a Yakuta noted.

There's still wait for word on what the official royal versions will be for this year.

GANN News Desk: ~ It's official, the royal colors for this week are determined, as his Excellency was seen emerging from a meeting of advisors from the Economic Commission, in a warrior yakuta of white and silver, with a patterning of green and blue angel feathers.

"Heh, wait till the other guys have to show them off." ..his Excellency was noted commenting, as later we will see the formal versions for the rest of the Holy Council.

What this all means of course, is that the chosen champion of the cycle at the end of the week will 'wear' the cloth of the Excellency. How this will turn out is being hotly debated, as the usual choices from the FACAF are being matched by the scientific and educational communities.

We'll have to wait and see how it all turns out.
