For reasons currently unknown, Hauptoffzier (head of Rammsteinburg's legislature) Damian Engels (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Damian_Engels) has decided to resign. This means the position of Hauptoffzier is up for election. Damian's term will end @ 5:00 PM on July 28. On that date, the new Hauptoffzier will be sworn into office.

Two people have chosen to run: Eric Waters and Dr. Roland H. Krycek.

*Strong supporter of education. Believes that education is a key to reaching communism and believes that it should be a top government priority.
*Wants Rammsteinburg to re-ban private enterprise.
*Supports civil rights.
*Believes in a one-party state
*Environmentalist
*Pro-death penalty

Dr. Ronald H. Krycek (Socialist Republican Party (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Socialist_Republican_Party_of_Rammsteinburg) )

*Former member of the Supreme Council (two terms)
*Former governor of the state of East Vankoria
*Socialist.
*Believes a republic is the best form of government.
*Strong supporter of civil and political rights for all people.
*Pro-UN
*Strong supporter of education and social welfare programs. Believes that these two things should be the governments main priority.
*Environmentalist
*Anti-death penalty
*Doesn’t want to re-ban private enterprise, but wants to keep government regulations on industry.
*Endorsed by current Hauptoffzier Damian Engels and Prime Minister Dr. Mila Schwarzes.

The Vintovian Foreign minister would like to comment more on this race, but he cannot pronounce the name of the position in question.

We belive that CFM waters is the best candidate, his strong educational values are what drive Vintovia's current government.

However, we wish luck to our friends the Rammenstieners in their partcipation in democracy and freedom and hope that they choose who is best for them.
