OOC: I’m just making the IC thread so we can start posting. I don’t know what i'm going to do right now. so i'll let someone else post first and then I’ll get going.

Harlesburg Forward Command

Lieutenant-General Thomas Franks was hunched around his desk waiting for The Air Marshall Tony Doomsayer and Admiral Troy Perkinson to arrive at his office on board the Harlesburg Naval Ship(HNS) Renaulph a converted Merchant vessel that had been uparmoured and had its own limited Self-Defence system his Adjudent Major Bartholamew Thomas was hastily making a coffee for himself and a Tea for General Eric Wibbley Commander of the Actual Ground Forces.

At this stage both Admiral Troy Perkinson and Air-Marshall Tony Doomsayer entered the room went through the obvious plesentries of Salutation and casually sat down.

Its good to see you two men us three have just been discussing the overall scenario and i think its time we got down to the real work.

With this Thomas Franks flattened a Map ontop of his desk and quickly pointed out the situation.

Look at this the main Island is in the centre and is flanked by smaller Islands on all sides the North is packed with jungle and would be hard tack for our Armour the Western island is Mountains and an Armoured Assault there is also out of the question and it would be for no purpose as we cannot find suitable ground for a Airstrip anywhere.

The Eastern island is full of Lush Green Fields and all forms of warfare can be achieved here it is a perfect place for secondry airfields.
However the Southern Island is Dessert and this streches into the mainland and it is also the closest we can launch our major offensive here.

The supercarrier Nove Tito of the Imperial Navy of Montenagro has postioned itself 20 miles from the coast of Nebarri Prime. Using arieal recon from Glefland the Su-30 fighter/bombers and the Tu-26 bombers close in to destroy the costal defences, they are met with heavy resistance, and only are able to destroy 5 coastal artillery pieces and one airstrip.

Captain Li of the Eagle Fighters division
Their modifed F-16 are fast and quite agile, though they are no match for the speed of our Migs and Su fighters, they are quite superior in numbers. These raids cannot go on, we will need support from our Dardo anti-air cruisers after the Howitzers have been demolished, only then will the skys turn in our favor


3rd Class General Sarovic
The ground forces are ready to move in, we have them stationed in Cargo planes witht the forces of Sarafim and Harlsburg, it will be a combined strike against Nebarri Prime, also Shock Troopers have landed on the far side of Prime's Island. We have radio contact with them, and they acan provide the needed intelligence about the groun forces stationed there.

OOC:Tokera forces have been stationed on the southern island and the main island, but some forces are present on the other islands

Tokera air strip south island
"get these planes in the air" yelled a sergent after he recieved his orders to get the fighters in the air

OOC: the fighters are F-22's, armed with AGM-84 Harpoon missles and several naval vessles are stationed on the southern island harbor. We are also employing anti ship railgun coastal guns

OOC: i'll make a reply soon. but for now i want to say this. Nebarri Primes air force is the pride of Nebarri's military, and the largest group Just letting you know. not like they are perfict or anything. just the best Nebarri has to offer

also though of less importance Nebarri has an odd system, Aircraft carriers are owned by the Air Force.

North of Nebarri The Harlesburg Assault force was finally reaching its target it was late their was no moon out and all lights were dimmed to give as little indication of thier arrival when suddenly the Takeoff/Landing Vessel HNV Eagle launched its Transport Aircraft one by one a total of 20 Hercules Transport Planes tookoff.

following the confirmation of recon data. the fleet launched their invasion of the southern isle.
as the main force neared the beaches, an elite unit moved to capture the airfeild.

<the main force uses LCACs the special forces, a varient of the soviet KM.>

the advanced warning systems on the southern island allowed the forces to be prepared. Several battleships moved to where the invasion force was to land, and allowing land forces to gather on the bunkers and trenches on the beach heads. The coastal rail guns were activated and ready to take out any ship within range.

North Island
Each Hercules from the Eagle was carrying 200 Paratroopers to be droped on the Island and soon its sister ships the Kea and Kakapo were launching their Hercules Aircraft while the Tui and Moa began launching their 30 Galaxy Aircraft each laden with the few Heavy Equipment and Transport requirements and neccessities of the Airbourne Division.
Soon 120 transports were in the Air and were about to be followed by the supporting Air units of each vessel.

The supporting Fighters were one squadron per T/LV and soon they were high in the air flying above the Transport Aircraft protecting them from any attack but with Harlesburg's severly limited Air resources only one Squadron of F18's had been left to protect the Naval Fleet and if any force should sweep down in the dead of night it could be chaotic.

Slowly out on the ocean the various seacraft began rolling towards the beaches cutting the waves with an incosistent regularity and slowly the little light that was around in the dead of night showed the outline of the island and of the target The Harbour City.

It was essential that this port could be taken quickly and this was what the paratroopers were there for as it was intended that they would land just beyond the cities perimeter cutting it off from the rest of the island and pushing back towards the port to link up with the hopefully succesful sea force.

South Island
The South Island which is where the main Harlesburg Assualt would initialy come from the 3rd and 4th Infantry Divisions intended to land inside the first 32 hours and the 2nd and 5th Armoured which would land in sporadic burst's to assist the Infantry's push forward while not being to much of a hinderance to the process of moving as much men and supplies off the meager front.

If either force failed the whole mission could be as good as doomed.

OOC: I take it you are attacking the south island
the radar lit up with 120 unidentified air crafts flying strait towards the southern island. The men watching the radar were private Thomas and private brown. The men quickly ran to HQ and reported the sighting immediately. " sir your going to want to see this, 120 bogeys just appeared on the radar and are heading strait for the harbor"
"are you sure"

"shit, Sergeant Davids get all our planes in the air to intercept those planes, and get our anti aircraft network up and running, what is the status of the ships guarding the harbor"
"sir we have 2 DD-21 Zumwalt Destroyers, 3 Offshore Patrol Cutters, and one DD(X) Destroyer on its way from the northern part of the southern island. Also sir the coastal defense rail guns are on line, the ships are almost in range and will be in one minute"

Coastal defense rail gun batteries-----
"They will be in range in 10..,9..,8..,7..,6..,5..,4..,3..,2..,1.., open fire"
" Target locked, fire" the massive gun opened fire with devastating force destroying its target,as all the other 49 guns opened fire simultaneously
"acquiring target number two, firing" the second round went up in a arch and came down right on top of the target likely a devastating hit. The guns continued to maintain a steady rate of fire 0f one round per each gun every 5 seconds, this made possible because the rail gun turrets are mostly autonomous with Advanced Target Accusation System (ATAS) sifting through all the possible target options to create a fire plan. Also the rail gun employs automated reload & rearm system. the only thing the gunner has to do is pull the trigger. The anti aircraft guns were positioned 100 feet behind the rail guns, and were ready to open fire.


the fighters in the air---
150 F-22 fighters were dispatched to intercept the aircrafts heading for the harbor. The fighters were ordered to attack and destroy the planes and then continue to the ships and do what damage they could do.

"this is lead fighter we have targets in sight, Going weapons hot, I repeat go weapons hot" the lead pilot said as he picked up the planes on his radar and armed his weapons
"got that lead going weapons hot" replied all the other pilots
the fighters continued untill they got a visual of the large group of aircrafts and they then opened fire.
"lead fighter, locked on target, foxtrot 1 and 2 fire" announced the lead pilot as he launched two missles, the other pilots quickly did the same

North island

All was quite as the Secondry force made its way to it objective on the North Island in fact it was too quite it was erily quite and it would make the Paratroopers job easier and then they were over their objective and 8,000 men streamed out of the back of their Transports gliding to the ground soon the Primery Heavy equipment would follow to offer any initial assistence before an Airbase could be secured before the 3000 other Paratroopers and the rest of the Heavy equipment could be brought in.

No Sea Bombardment was coming form the Harlesburg Naval Foces stationed in the North Island Sector but Airccraft were streaming overhead searching out fro any possible targets in the dead of night.


South Island

As the clunky Sea Transports ranged forward carrying their men and supplies rounds from the Coastal Batteries opened up finding targets all over the waters everytime a Transport was hit it would make the defenders jobs easier with all the light generated from the flaming hulks 8 Merchant men had been hit casulties on board where unknown but at most 12,000 men were nomore.

But in light of this they were only yards from the Docks and other craft with deployable secondry transports had already hit the beaches and were begining secure a Bridgehead at the beach to the East of the Docks and to filter through to the Docks themselves to assist in anyways possible.

Out of the sky suddenly more than 100 F-22's appeared this would be more than a match for the 90 Planes of the Harlesburg Navy and Airforce but they had a job to do and would do their best the Destroyers would be able to help out to some extent as well.

SOUTH
The various transports hit the beaches and Docks as zFighters circled overhead looking to assist in anyways possible.

the landing craft were not faring well against the railguns.

"hold up the second wave, no point until we eliminate those guns."
"recon shows significant AA coverage, sir."
"so bomb the power stations, or the transmission lines, those things take a h~ of a lot of juice to run."

south island, Tokera airfeild ETA: 2 min.
"alright ladies, It's showtime, we need to take this feild, and with as little mess as possible."

WiG craft, armament:
Dorsal:1x 2 x 12.7 mm machine gun turret.
side: 2 x 12.7 mm machine gun,
nose: 4 x 12.7 mm machine gun.
{if you don't know what WiG craft are, picture a cross between a Star Wars landspeeder, and a C-130, with a little B-17 thrown in.}

The beaches---
the men on the beaches were ready to push back any advancing men that landed on the beaches.
"sir here they come"
"alright, wait.... now" the sergent said as they waited for the men to begin advancing over the beaches to the hills (sand dunes)where the men were hiding behind to blow the Claymores when all the men were in range. The claymores went off simotaneously killing all in their blast radious.
"go" yelled the sergent after the claymores went off, the men began firing with all they had mowing down all that crosses their paths. The men would fight as long as they could hold them back and then they would retreat and blow the rest of the claymores and C4.
"this is foxtrot alpha requesting fire support delta fire for effect on my position" yelled a private ordered to call in artillery. several seconds later the guns were heard pounding the beaches. several seconds later the pounding force of the artillery was over and giant smoldering craters in the sand were left.


the battleships---
the battleships began firing on the rest of the landing crafts and the ships from which they were launched. They began attacking the escort ships first then moved onto the carriers

Palace Grand-Ducale, Luxembourg, van Luxemburg

"What we have here, is a Main invasion force from Gelfland and Harlesburg. we have already took the liberty to send out an Expeditionary unit consisting of the 4th brigade, with 10,000 men and the 4th armoured division consisting of 1,000 Leclerc tanks. the landing, done by Foudre class LPD's has already been completed. shortly after, parts of van Luxemburg's airforce have landed on improvised landing strips. the main aircraft on the Island is the Mirage 2000-5, but a Naval Rapid Reaction force has been deployed to counter possible naval threats. the Carrier which has command over the force is the VLS Pisa from the Perpignan class. she will launch Rafale M's. a Superdreadnaught group is not far away. that is the only unit who will carry the Mirage 2100, Van Luxemburg's own Stealth aircraft."
The Fieldmarshall turned to the Grand Duke.
"And, Sir?"
"Where will we be landing again?"
"At the East and West islands, to support Nebarri Prime."
"Okay, now, you're in full control, so IF anything happens, you've done it. Okay?"
"Yes Sir! "

With a grinding snap, the assault carrier clips the top of the airfeild fence, the howl of the engines dying away as the pilot cuts power, as it skids to a halt, the motorbike troops unload and head for the Control tower, the dorsal turret providing cover fire, the remaining troops move to secure the area.
