In a full-scale alert today, ViZion has activated it's thousands of nuclear weapons, as all nuclear submarines and shipped have been launched to sea, B-2's and B-52's scrambling, while those in silo's are preparing to be raised.

The military is also going through a mass-mobilization, calling up the millions of soldiers to be armed.

The ViZionarian Airforce is scrambling as many jets as possible at this time, while the Mediterranean sea is expected to being filling up with ViZionarian war ships leaving their docking locations.

The Capital building is also being raided by special forces to evacuate President Maybury and his staff. His location is now unknown. ViZion City, the capital city, is being locked down as thousands of national guard units, as well as the army have begun blockading the city. Jets will begin encircling the city, and over 200 M1A2 tanks are being deployed, as well as 400 strykers, to defend the capital city.

All travel is being shut down, and not a single soul is being allowed to enter or exit ViZion at this time via land, air, or sea.

No reasons are being given at this time for this rapid and suprising move. This is all the information being released at this time, and we will keep you updated.

In repsonse to the actions of our ally nation, the United Imperium of Crossman has raised our alert status for all Crossmanian Earth territories. All Earth based units have been ordered to mobilise.

President Garner turned off the TV and turned to the heads of the military.

"So, what do you think is going on, obviously it's something very big..." Said President Garnrer.
"I have no idea what could make a country as big as them go into high alert status like that..." Said Admiral Sutherland, the other Generals just nodded their heads.
"Yes, I wondered that too, should we try to establish contact with them, we were allies sometime ago when we were much smaller, but we haven't had contact with them in years, ever since the nuke equipped Iowa inccident, do you think it's worth a shot?"

The Generals just nodded their heads in agreement, then General Marcus Cromwell spoke up, "Sir, should we mobilize our military? Should we go to DEFCON 3?"

President Garner thought for a moment, DEFCON 3 is moblization of all conventional military assest and also means putting their WMDs on high alert. "Yes, go to DEFCON 3, I will attempt to make contact with the ViZion President or other important persons."

The Generals left and President Garner opened up a secure link to ViZion...

Drakomis stood on the bridge far off in the stars, at some situation so far away. His helment had a conversation with one of his most trusted Generals.

"So, Vladinchi, don't we have an ambassador?"

"No sir," responded Chief General Oscar Vladinchi, "but we did have good relations long ago I believe."

"Ah," said Drakomis, "So, why should I be worried about ViZion? I know its a Good Nation and all."

"Well," started Vladinchi, "we shouldn't do anything just yet, perhaps send a communique or something, but ViZion IS a Super Power, and to not worry about OUR land on Earth, would be foolish."

"I understand," said Drakomis, "send a scout to orbit. I have bigger issues to content to, like the Galactic Empire."

Captain Dyson stood over the comm station. He turned to face the his bridge crew, awaiting the news as to what was going on down on Earth.
"Red alert. All crew to battlestations and await further orders. All ships in Sol have been ordered to full alert and prepare for possible combat situations. Lieutenant Renolds, activate cloak."

"Alaric, ViZIon and Crossman have gone to high alert! All nuclears capabilities activated!"
What the f...." ViZ AND Cross? Must be a doozy of a situation. Do we have anything from OSS 1 or 2?"
"Nothing yet, sir. Both are scanning. Info available shortly."
"OK, have all Xeraphian military units throughout the Empire put on high alert. Have the ICBM's go to DEFCON 4. Prime for immediate retaliatory coordinates. Contact King Ricala and have all orbital units go to full alert."
"Aye, sir."
Must be one hell of a situation, Alaric thought. But, ah.....just like the old days! All we need now is for VL to enter the fray.......damn it's good to be the king!

"A leak might have occured and they may be preparing for what is next."
"Yes. I'll have the plans sped up. I want the useful items removed form the vault and items 0985 and 1005 given to Agent Nox. He is to bring them to the slums and let himself use them in whatever way he likes though we do want him back alive."
"Yes Agent Nox has proved to be extremly valuable over these past months. When he returns give him just about anything he requests."
"Shall we also go to a hightned state of alert?"
"Yes. Go to a level two condition. I also want all ships in our Sol fleet with a fighter capactiy larger than one hundred to release all but ten fighters to one of our outposts and to return to Earth orbit to recive cargo."

A message was broadcast across all lines for allies and all other nations to hear;

On monitors across the globe, the screen turned black, a deep voice not that of any top ViZionarian officials boomed.
We are in a very dark time right now. A very deadly situation is on the rise. A possible massive threat is likely to become a reality very soon.

We call upon our allies to begin mobilization, and ask that your nuclear capabilities be readied for this situation.

We warn all nations... watch out.

The message ended like that, and the screen returned to normal.
The Mediterranean sea around Italy was begining to fill up, creating a sea of, not water, but metal.

The air was filled with bombers, stealth bombers, and fighters. Some were loaded with normal missiles and bombs while others with nuclear weapons.

All of ViZion was locked down, however travel inside ViZion was permitted, and, aside from ViZion City, the government urged their people to continue on with business, work, and school. Two major things were changed, however: A ten 'o clock PM to six AM curfew and the military on seemingly every street.
