AoN ships begin colonizing systems within GE space. (FT, mostly open)
ooc> To explain the "mostly open" part, if you are a GE member or an AoN member (assuming you weren't carpet ignored int he past) then you can join. Otherwise, just ask first. That is all.
ic> The fleet resembled any other colonial grouping. It was made up of 4 full Naval groups and had a large number of supply ships. It would be away for some time. Such things were not uncommon. The Colonial navy was charged with the task of bringing new systems into the Empire of Gronde. What set this fleet apart was its commander and its destination.
The command group was lead by none other than High Marshal Nicholai Socolov and his personal Desolator Class Juggarnaut. He was one of Master Kalgar's most trusted commanders and head of the rightly feared Honor Gaurd: the most advanced branch of the Gronde military. He was with 2 full naval groups, which bumped the overall fleet up to 6 groups. They even brought and Obsidian Class Superfortress.
Even more important, was their destination. They were heading quite a distance into Galactic Empire space. They were going to a system that was found to be located on an extra-dimentional way network. If a portal could be made there, ships could be transported across the galaxy with far greater speed, faster than any other travel in the known universe. Controlling such a vital location would give the AoN a powerfull edge.
One the command room of the Obsidian Class Superfortress, High Marshal Nicholai Socolov and Admiral Alexander of the Colonial Navy sat and descussed their plans.
"Once we arrive, I will need you to begin building an interior defence," began the High Marshal. "I will have my ships scout out and build a perimeter defence."
"Understood," replied Alexander. "Our intel says that there is one inhabitable world. I will set up some military instalations and some orbitals."
"Good," said Nicholai. "As soon as a reasonable defence has been built, I will have our scientists and their teams work on getting a portal up. I have already ordered a that a series of solor power stations be set up around the star, they will be used mainly to power the FTLi. The first step in maintaining security is to make sure that our enemy can't just jump in. One nova bomb can ruin you whole day."
"How long do you thing we will have before the Galactic Empire reacts to this?" asked Alexander, in a quieter tone.
"The GE? Ha!," replied the High Marshal. "Their members are spineless and weak. They will likely do nothing more than make empty threats. By the time they actually work up their nerve and try to take action, this sytem will be like a fortress."
"Perhaps, but you can never be too carefull."

Don't know if I truthfully am involved in the GE anymore, but I once was. When I lost the link to the boards, I considered myself off of it. However, that doesn't mean I want to...react to anything, lol.

In the void of deep space, near a lone solar system, a huge anomoly came to be. A bluish mist of lightning bound together by time and space grew larger and larger, bolts streaking from its center to its oter rim. Space warped and distorted around its perimeter. Moments later, as the anomoly stopped growing and started collapsing in on itself, a black sphere was left in its wake. The sphere dissappeared, and an Anagonian Hailstorm-Class Battlecruiser was left in its wake.
The ACB Vigiliance, one of the oldest ships in the fleet, sat still in space. A powerful burst of Microwave energy was sent out in a spherical area, into the Solar System and beyond. A map of the newly found area was created, and Captain Connar sat satisfied of his findings.
"Ah, a planet, we better get back to Galactic Command and inform them on our findings." The Captain looked to his Second-in-Command, Commander Tall, who was typing vigorisly on his key-pad.
"Whats wrong," the Captain asked.
"Sir, I'm picking up objects in the vacinity, and something that could be the reason why we werent able to get closer to the planet."
Captain Connar nodded, "Well, I believe this area had nothing in it. Last we checked the old Star Charts of the GE said nothing was here."
"Nothing was on there when I checked either," started the Commander," Perhaps someone could have colonized the place."
Captain Connar nodded, "Then lets meet them."

The Swarm probed trhe periphery of GE space, if they were unresisted for much longer they would choose a planet, and then the hive would buiold, followed by terrans and protoss, as well as any other misfits that chose to join them.

We have recently heard rumours that you have begun to infiltrate the Galactic Empire. If aforementioned rumoursare true, a 'rogue' battlegroup would be quite willing to 'defect', and 'accidentally' 'stumble' upon you, and completely 'spontaneously' decide to join you.

“Admiral, I think you should have a look at this, we picked it up this morning in the daily sensor reports. It appears we have enemies just happening upon our borders.” Blathe picked up the pad and viewed the data.
“Hmmmm” Blathe muttered. “Well, well, well, obviously they intend to sneak in under our noses, are they being tracked?” The young officer nodded enthusiasticaly.
“They seem unaware of the sesnor grid, I really can't believe the foolishness of their tactics. Moving inside Imperial space like this, its just tactical idiocy!” Blathe considered his options for a slight second. “Send communications to Admiral Harrel and Pael and have them meet me in the observation lounge. We need to discuss this further.”
“Yes Sir.” The young officer exclaimed and them proceeded to carry out his orders.
Observation Lounge
“Well, here we have it, an enemy in our back yard, how quaint.” Admiral Harrel announced. “I think we should dispatch them immediately.”
“We need to do something certainly, but military attack, perhaps we can find something more humiliating?” Admiral Pael gently added. “I have an idea....”
“Oh?” Blathe was curious, his brows raising in anticipation.
“What if we were to perform a Tenetia?”
“You mean?” Both Blathe and Harrel started laughing at the concept, it was brilliant.
“Well Admiral I certainly support the idea, what about you Harrel?” Harrel couldn't answer, his laughter was certainly getting the better of him...
“O.... hahahahahhhahahah okay haha.... I hahaha... think I can stop now.” He finally managed after a few minutes. “I'm all for the scheme. We can imprison them in that lifeless system and see to them at a later date. What kind of range where you thinking?”
“Oh, I don't know..... fifty light years in radius....” Pael managed a sly smile.
“Well, okay, get to it.”
The meeting was brief but it had done the job. The irritating presence in the bowls of the Empire would be imprisoned and dealt with at a later date.
Horrus Class Star Destroyer Imperator. Eight Hours since the Incursion.
“Well have they moved at all captain?” Admiral Blathe enquired.
“No, not as such, they're still hiding behind their faster than light inhibitor. Getting to them is impossible, but them getting to us, well that's equally impossible while its raised...” Blathe nodded and proceeded to the launching station. He really never knew the point of faster than light inhibitors, so boring, so dishonorable......
“Well are you ready Ensign?”
“The probes are prepared for launch and will be in position one minute after you launch them Admiral.”
“Is there inhibitor still raised?”
“Yes Sir.”
“Proceed then,”
From the new Horrus class Star Destroyer several large probes were launched. While the unknown hostiles prepared for an assault which would never come, a secondary inhibitor field would appear, however this one would be much stronger, much larger, a prison for those who defied the will of the emperor....

ic> Meanwhile, the Admiral and the High Marshal were in the command/controll room located in the Obsidian Fortress. There was an intel officer there as well.
"Wait," the Admiral began, slightly confused. "So your saying that they didn't attack?"
"Correct," replied the Intel officer. "All they left behind were FTLi generating probes. They seem to be generating the same form of FTLi as ours, and at about the same strength."
"Alright, but before your dismissed, I have one more question," said the Admiral. "Are you prepared to disrupt and disable their sensory grid in this system?"
"Yes sir. I will can remove it at any time."
"ok, good. Await my orders for that." With that, the officer left. The Admiral turned to the Marshal.
"I wonder what they hoped to accomplish..." pondered the Admiral.
"Whatever it was, I doubt they succeeded," replied the High Marshal. "We had already set up two perminent gateways. One of them goes right to the Manticore military base, the other is connected to the center of the extra-dimentional network."
"Well, I suppose there is no explaining the GE. Ha."

How can our inhibitors be the same/similar if i don't use dimensional travel?
So if our inhibitors are similar as you stated then you won't be blocking my FTL which is not dimensional.
Thirdly, How do you even know about a sensor grid which is one of the Empires best kept secrets? I would accept that through some subterfuge but since we have had no IC contact ever I can't accept it.
Just a few rather important questions?

Cadia Prime
Emporer Maxwell was sitting in his throne room atop the Saletaria Tower. It was a beautiful day, the planet's reconstruction went over with out a hitch. He could see out the immense windows the soft white light of the Cadian Sun beaming into the well lit throne room. The flying traffic of the immense city-wide planet buzzed to and fro. All was finally at peace. MAxwell's eyes were unusually heavy, he felt perhaps a nap would serve him well after the several sleepless nights has had. His psionics have been having unsettling dreams. He saw burning planets, people running from awful men in power armor, with massive hand cannons. He also saw troopers, in brilliant white armor, firing at the beasts, but being overwhelmed by massive numbers. Then came the most awful trith he realized, a solar system being colapsed as the very STC implodes on itself. Soon after, the entire multi-verse is destroyed. After erecalling these images, he decided against sleeping.
Slam! Went the massive throne room doors. "Sire!! Sire!! Urgent news" cried a page as he ran towards the Emporer. The man panted as he ran up the steps leading to the throne.
Maxwell poured him some water, the man accepted it and drank it all down in a quick gulp. "Sire, Unified Sith has been ivaded by the AoN! We must aide them, they are our allies." the page informed the Emporer.
Maxwell's eyes narrowed at the data pad as he uploaded all the information to his head. "Bring me the Chiefs of Staff" he commanded.
The page ran away with much haste in his steps.
Within an hour, the Head of the Army, Temporal Fleet, Standard Fleet and the Marines was before him. They had all been briefed, and began to inform him of the plans of attack of each.

At the edge of the Sith FTLi field; a ship tore free from teh warp; hovering, watching as space tore and sundered around it. A thousand ships roared, screaming from the depths of the Immateirum; freed from their bondage; their hulls crackling with the obscene energy of Chaos itself.
The Ship at the fore was the Ecstacy of Slaanesh; it's ancient hull glimmering with runes and sigils; shifting symbols that whispered obscenely of black Gods and dark worship. On the deck; the metal turned to rought stone, forming a throne of basalt and bone; an obsidian edifice for the dark Emperor of Chronosia. Marcus De Drakan sat, his eyes focussed upon the immense screen which covered the front of the bridge, giving him a view of all that lay before them.
"Sith forces; this is Emperor Marcus De Drakan of the Chronosian Imperium. I have come to lay waste to our enemies, and uphold the sanctity of our alliance. I bring forth the hordes of the Imperium to face this, despicable threat. Their souls shall feed the glory of the Dark Gods; and the hunger of Lifesbane" His hand carressed the Daemonic Runeblade, running fingers over its symbols; hearing it whisper, feeling it stir. It's thirst matched his own.
"Allies, are forthcoming..." A great beacon was set; the signals roaring in the minds and ears of psykers; even screaming across radio and communications arrays; it would bring them here...
Across space, the vessels of the Imperium ripped free of the warp; great transports in orbit of a world that was unlike any other they had seen. A world consumed by the living entity of the Swarm; a great and pulsating mass of flesh and fury; a powerful force of nature.
"Agents of the Swarm; we have come to bring you forth. We shall lead you to evolution, to perfection. Come, join us; be the cleansing wave."
With a titanic scream, both physical and mental, the Queen returned the call for aid with a scream of ackowledgment.
The planet swarmed. Millions of the beasts flooded the surface... it lived even more so. The gleaming black chitin of the xenomorphs, Carnifex's, and Lictors.
For every 50 thousand Xenomorphs, there was one carnifex and one lictor, and for every million beasts, there were two lesser queens to command them. That was a total of 7 million of the swarm, a bare fraction of the total swarm.
The massed around where the transports would set down. Then they woukd pour into the transports, and do the Chaos God's bidding.

Just a few rather important questions.
Oh and don't be condescending, it's rude.
ooc> First question: The gateways my nation uses are able to operate even under the strongest of FTLi. This is, however, under one condition: they must be formed and locked open before FTLi has been activated on those coordinates. The gateways were formed before my FTLi was activated. I should have specified further, and I apologize.
Second question: It was a mistake on my part. I assumed that they were similar because if they were not designed against dimentional travel, how would it effect me? Also, just because you don't use a certain type of travel, does not mean that I wouldn't protect myself from it.
Your 4th line (third question): It's impossible to keep such a thing as a sensor grid from being detected. It's along the lines of the "you can detect me, so I can detect you" principal. Add that to what Godular said.
As for your last statement: don't start that kind of flaming shit or you will be ignored without hesitation. My patience with you and your ilk has not improved since we last RPed. Prove my oppinions of you wrong by RPing to high standards. I know you can do it. :p
I am not trying to be an asshole. If I am comming off as one to anyone, I apologize. However, don't take up space in this thread to say so. If you really have something you need to address with me, TG me or something unless it is actually relevent to IC happenings.
Now to get back on track.
ic> Deep in space, far from the system in question, the most vital members in the plan was observing the system's perimeter. It was the High Marshal in command of the Warp Fortress, James Harper. The Warp Fortress was a massive AoN project that had been being build and expanded for upwards of 300 years. Recently, it had been connected to the partially complete tactical Dyson Spere and the fully completed Star Ring. These were located on a Warp star, and provided the energy needed to power the Warp Fortress's primary super weapon: the Mass Energy Teleporter. Its power output in one hour was 3 times the ammount needed to revert an entire planet into its componant atoms. The enemies of the AoN would pay a steep price for allowing such a weapon to remain in their hands.
The movement of a large number of Chronosia units was just what they were waiting for. The co-ordinates were recieved, and 8 massive balls of energy were teleported to strategic locations around the Chronosian forces. Each one represented about and hour of buildup from the Warp Fortress. They were each subsequently hurled into the Chronosian fleet at about 3/4 the speed of light, leaving massive distortions in their wake.
Waiting to see the effect of the attack, James had both the other High Marshal and the Colonial Admiral on his screen. Their meeting was about to commence.

The blasts struck the fleet; scathing the shields of some, while others were sent spinning, mauled by the blast, into space. Some were completely decimated; spilling forth debris and personnel into space; their lives claimed by the unforgiving void. The fleet; however, had moved. They were already several lightyears away from the teleported orbs; and so only a few were torn asunder, destroyed by the unyielding power of such weapons.
Yet less forgiving was their Master's wrath. he watched, unmoved as ships exploded left and right, before the blasts faded. He cared little for such light show trickeries; wars are not won by deception and cowardice; War's are won by men and their actions. He would not let these heretic filth discourage him.
"Forward" Came his hissed order; and all those about him obeyed; even as a scrying stone crackled to life and displayed the face of his First Born; his Chosen; Remiel.
"My Father; I shall bring all my power to aid you."
"As shall I" A voice from another stone; Lucian, Lord of the Plaguefleets. "Together we shall crush these filth who would interfere in affairs not rightly their own."
"Excellent, my dark children; come forth; we shall bring our war to bear upon these fools"
The ships began to advance, slipping forth into the system under conventional thrust; their weapons ready; their shields raised and fully charged. Now the heretics would see the power of the Imperium; now they would know the mighty fury of an Emperor scorned.
ooc> I would like to put a cap on those joining. Those here now are in, but no more may join except for Scellia. He had already reserved a spot personally.
Chronosia: Your ships could not have gotten even close to that far away from the energy orbs/balls in that ammount of time, even if Harper was not even tracking your fleet's movements and adjusting the co-ordinates. "Several light years" away? We are talking about a huge ammount of time required while using conventional thrusters. In the distance, afar from Chronosian Fleet, distortions in Space-Time took place. Swirls of what seemed to be tiny suns started forming, their event-horizions looking like black holes. A bluish-whit mist grew denser and denser around these distortions, what seemed Thousands of them, and bolts of what seemed like earthly lightning of every possible color zoomed from their centers. It seemed so beautiful to anyone watching. A brilliant flash of light took place after moments of beauty, and what was left was ships of the Anagonian fleet.
1,904 ships to be exact, all of them ready to war, each one having a Bluish Taint of an Electro-Magnetic Shielding System. The Darkness carried the message across the galaxy to the High Summoner, Drak. By helping to destroy the enemy of an enemy there would be less troubles in the end and everyone was an enemy to the heartless so the less the better.
He was onboard his flagship Dark Eminence when he received the message the fleet was still rallying for the first assault and this so called galactic war would prove beneficial in many ways. Not only would it allow the Heartless to see their enemies technologies but it would destroy more obstacles in the future.
He quickly ordered the armada to be readied, the Summoners prepared and sent a message to the leader of the Galactic Empire seeing if they would accept help. It was time the galaxy met the menace that was the Heartless.

"Well, I would have prefered a little more time," replied Alexander, a little nervous. "Are you sure that we weren't just sent here to our deaths?"
"No, I know that we were not," Nicholai reassured him. "I cannot, as of yet, tell you how I know that, but trust me."
"Very well, but what do you prepose we do in our defence?" inquired Admiral Alexander.
"We take the fight to the astroid belt," answered Nicholai. "And I will need the to review the specs on their ships to determine our chances. They have already passed into our wayward sensor's range."
"Alright, what will our specific defencive layouts be?"
"I can't get really specific just yet, besides that would be for the lower commanders, not you," replied the High Marshal. "However, make sure that all of the Heavy Rail Cannon platforms are up and running. Also, station the space mechs and the non-carrier class vessels around defencive location in the belt. Have your fast attack group devide into teams to harass the enemy. That is all for now, I must prepare for battle myself." And with that, Alex nodded his head and left. Nicholai did not stay long either. He went to his armory and put on his shielded Carapace armor and prepped his various weapons. In order for any victory he may achieve here to matter, he would have to hurt Chronosia's pride. And he knew exactly how to do it, he thought as he picked up his power axes.

IC: The summoners stomped their feet on the flagship of the armada [/i]Dark Eminence[/i] as the High Summoner entered the grand chamber. He stood on a massive balcony, preparing his speech that would bring his summoners to their fighting edge.
The armada was fully prepared to strike now; Wraith Fighters swarmed the space between the massive capital ships as patrols for any ships that might have found their way here.
The High Summoner stepped forward and the beating of the drums and the stomping of the feet ceased. The High Summoner was the second most influential person in the Order of The Heartless. They took the name from the creatures that they were able to summon to use as soldiers. Each one functioned for a different task that was more then able to take on the modern technology of the galaxy.
The summoners got down on one knee as the High Summoner spoke,
"My fellow people, today begins a new century of conquest. The Prophet has given me full permission to begin the assault on the galaxy and it is time. With the galaxy in full civil war it will be easy pickings once the war ends but until then we use the others as tools manipulating them to our goals, bringing about the darkness!"
Rampant stomping...
"Today we will side with the force known as the Galactic Empire and smite their enemies. We will use their hearts to fuel our machines, and soon the Heartless will yet again bring another galaxy into the darkness... and this time my people it will be you who brings about the darkness!"
Stomping grows to a furious rate...
"Go forth! And bring about the eternal darkness!"
The stomping grew to a deafening roar, as the drums commenced. It was time...

The massive armada arrived at the battle, ready to assist the Galactic Empire. No one knew who the mysterious force belonged to, it was alien designs and didn't match any of their scanners... they were the heartless and were here to wreak havoc on the galaxy, well the enemies of the GE for now.
It was a huge fleet made up of close to nine hundred ships, the rest of the grand armada had been held off incase they were needed elsewhere, but now it was time to identify themselves.
Grand Controller (Heartless equivalent of Captain) Zanvar stood watching over the bridge of the Vengeance Battleship Shadow Striker, "Order all ships to converge on vessels that will not be identified by the Galactic Empire leader."
"As you command Grand Controller." The controller caste had no names, they were just ranks and numbers that controlled the ships of the Order, the summoners were who had the respect and authority.
"Open a transmission on an open frequency." The Grand Controller ordered.
The communication controller turned and nodded, "Transmission opened."
"Galactic Empire forces, we are here to help you... do not ask who or what we are. All you need to know is we are here to help.. identify all friendlies that is all."

OOC: Gronde ~ Mentallinauts has come through your dimensional gate. Re-read his post.
“Well it seems that the invaders are now being outnumbered, and swarmed.” Admiral Pael said with a satisfying grin. “I think we should send in the Anagonians through their own dimensional gates if its at all possible, and for the rest of the fleet, well we can send in the Omega force.”
“Are you sure?”
“Well the Mekantans will be here shortly and so their dimensional ability will be curbed. They can then be then be dealt with the Galaxy gun or the Death Star if we deem it necessary, however I’m pretty sure we can arrange a surrender.” Pael looked over at his sensor screen and was still surprised by the sheer amount of ships converging upon the nameless system. “What’s this systems name anyway he asked the blue holograms of Blathe and Harrel.
“I think its been designated P3X something something… does it really mater?” Blathe said annoyed at Pael’s perfectionism
“No not really.”
“So when do you intend to arrive Admiral? We have the inhibitor field kept up, it will only be shut down for allied vessels so these Gronde things will be kept within the system.”
“We can’t trap them?”
“Sadly, not on our own….”
“I should be with you… oh in about now.” From outside Admiral Blathes bridge a series of resounding flashes erupted against the void. “Say hello to the new Omega ships.”
“Hello.” Blathe said in awe. “I’ve seen the technical specifications, but they just look odd without the towers.”
“Well we had to remove them so the Borg shields could be adapted properly.”
“I like the spikes by the way, they’re very ominous…..”
“Aren’t they.” Pael said like a giddy school girl.
Outside the battlezone the Imperial defence fleet was massing. Star Destroyers and frigates and Omega Star Destroyers were now fully prepared to advance.
“Well should we deal with this?”
“Why not Blathe agreed.”
The Imperial force moved in towards the Godulan enemy at sublight speeds. Annoyed and angered at the enemies light speed inhibitors.
Sliding past the Asteroid belt the Imperial forces would now crush Gronde against the hammer and the anvil. On one side you had the Chaos swarm of Chronoasia, on the other you had the Imperial armada of the Empire, and from all other directions you had the Angonian fleet, the Dracun attack force, the Mentallinautian vanguard and many more who all fought in the defence of the Empire….

The Hive was well along the way to completion, it had a Hatchery, Hydralisk Dens and Spawning Pools, Spires and Queens Nests, Ultralisk Caverns and Defiler Mounds, Sunken and Spore colonies defended the outskirts, and a full Brood was being Evolved from the creatures of this place, they were deadly mammalian beasts, of a size comparable with Ultralisks, and predatory, bearing massive fangs and claws, as well as a deadly barbed tail, they were dubbed Manticores by the Terrans who viewed them, and eventually became the newest Heavy Assault Breed, Mantisks, they would back the Ultralisks in ground battles, although none have demonstrated Brood-mutant abilities yet.

OOC: Zerg colonies grow FAST, very fast, faster than you can believe, they can grow tyo that size in about a day-day and a half, the incorporation will take another day-two days extra.
Space tore open behind the forces of darkness, and though it emerged a force more powerful then any that had been assembled before. Even a Death Star wouldn't save the forces in the system now, the combined fleet having more firepower then even the Death Star coud muster. Even as the titanic fleet entered this Dimension space began to enter a state of flux, an incrdibly powerful FLTi system that covered every imaginable band and system. Even ships with similar Dimensional travel abilities would be barred from entering, the field extended a light day in each direction. No more forces would arrive to help the doomed souls within the system, all were going to die.
The Unified Sith force with most easly within range of the aweful weapons, and with reality annhilated heave the fleet opened up. 120 DD XV, 110 CA XLIII, 100 BB XXVII, 40 DN XVII and one SD IV. As the silent command raced from the Imperia the weapons began to unleash their deadly fury and for the first time this Dimension was the horrid effects of dimensional weaponry. There was no trace on sensors, but the gravitic one, of the incoming fire. The weapon not having a true realspace presence, hoever once the presence of shield or ship occured the vortex of twisted dimensional energy explodes. However it doesn't explode in a conventional sense, instead it tears apart the fabric of reality causing all matter and energy with the blast to cease to exist.
The Unified Sith ships were wreathed in the rapid flickering of aboslute black spheres, like small black holes existing only for an unmeasurably small period of time before matter created new spacetime. Sometimes it was a small flicker against the shields of a US ship, other times smaller ships were engulfed entirely by blackness, and never emerged. The Scellian aramada was precisely arranged, the Destroyers forming a ring around the outside were already screaming toward the flanks of the enemy fleet. The Cruisers were back, providing flank defense and making sure that no enemy forces could do exactly what the Destroyer were going to do the enemy.
The Battleships were arranged in concentric rings around the core of Dreadnoughts and the Imperia, the fist that would smash the heart of the enemy fleet ans scatter them to the winds. They knew that they had the advantage, the enemy was facing the wrong way and unprepared for the sudden assault, they hoped that they would be able to destroy most of the heavy enemy ships before they could be brought to bear. The column of fire the Imperia's fleet was produced was mainly concentrated on the heavy capital class ships, knowing that most of them would die before they even fired one shot.
OOC: Read both my R&D thread and FT Factbook if you haven't already before posting losses :)
The First Fleet of the Galactic Empire of Huntaer had arrived with Darth Aelikes onboard the Aphotic (aphotic class super star destroyer).
It was followed by several Huntarian ships, all which Gronde and his followers were unfamiliar with. Most were recognisable as a type of star destroyer... But without the tower?? These Towerless Star Destroyers (TSDs) are a more formidable war machine than those of the regular Star Destroyers for many reasons and Gronde and it's freedom fighters were about to find out why.
Darth Aelikes stood upon the bridge of the Aphotic, his eyes glowed yellow and his arms were folded. Both of his red lightsabers were at his sides. He continued to glare at that area of space with the bubble gate, and his fleet stood ready at "Red Alert." They were expecting attacks, but they don't know when. Aelikes decided to move through the gates of the Northern Hemesphere and to begin a heavy bombardment from his fleet.
Of course, he'll await command from Unified Sith for further suggestions/orders from the GE High Command

Correction it should take you at least 24 hours to reach me. Keep in mind I am not in the Milky Way, where you are, demonstrated by your most recent attack on Jordaxia. Also, Grondes FTLi only extends as far as the outer regions of his solar system, and with the incursion being inside GE territory, well, he's conveniently within close proximity to all of our war fleets. Secondly, its you who can't just jump in behind our forces, keep in mind both I and Gronde have FTLi's up, you would have to jump out at least 50 Light years from the battle zone and proceed towards the system at sublight speeds.
Secondly Imperial sublight velocities are capable of traversing a solar system within about two hours at most, so Huntear is pretty much A okay.
Please Edit your post accordingly

I'm sorry but how did you get "just" behind me, when Gronde, and I have an overwhelming FTLi that's raised. Even to sneak up behind me, as im in the centre of the half way into the system now you would have to drop out of your dimension at the edge.... that's even if I didn't also have FTLi activated myself.
And as I do have them active well, you need to travel 50 LY at sublight velocities......
Im also very curious as to how instant your fleet moves... from Jordaxia to a Galaxy at the other side of the universe..... hmmmm. Your fleets just happened to be in the system without so much as a secret IC, "I'm going there" "Or the usual impending arrival." which makes it appear all too much like instant FTL travel, which we all assureedly know is incorrect.
Finally, you have RP'd my forces for me in the above post. I would have time to react, and I most assuredly would not sit there while you try and blackhole me. Most Imperial vessels would simply accelerate and turn towards you. The Empire is very capable of detecting gravatational build ups, however with our FTLi activated dimensional weapons are not a concern. As they don't work inside it!
but if you wish to discuss this any further contact me on MSN at Wardventure1@aol.com.
OOC: Gronde and I have been planning this for about a week, so most of the fleet has been in place for a long time. Gronde specifically has kept open places for me to jump in, the dimensional gateway he has set up permenately that allowed Mentallinauts to get in also lets me in. Since it came through your FTLi then my ships will as well. I put up an FTLi that closes those gateways, or at least stoppers them up. If Gronde wants to he claim that they were too strong for me to close, but thats up to him. Huntaer couldn't get to the system as the FTLi set up was 1 light day in diameter, meaning that he would have to sublight from 1 LD out so at 1c it takes him 24 hours. You say that you have 50 LY FTLi out, so he can't even get near the system let alone get there in time to actually do anything as long as you still have your FTLi up. We knew that you would be coming in system, the gates into the system were stragically placed, this is a trap.

Please note that Grondes gates are in the centre of the system. And would I pass one of those gates without destroying it????
No, so I think we have established that you're not behind me. As for very much in front of me, then I accept.
Oh and if you read my posts earlier, I did say that I lowered the field for allies to get to the edges of Grondes incursion.....
If one of the gates suddenly appeared behind me, then very well, let me amend my post accordingly and target them with the probing fighter squadrons that would almost certainlty attacka nd take it out.
Secondly, coming through Grondes gate, I doubt he's managed to make a big enough one within a day, so please tell me, how do all your ships arrive at once? won't they have to come through one at a time or staggered?
OOC: I propose a compromise, how about I come out in front of you but say I widened the gates to the point where my fleet could enter all at once but destroyed the gate in the process. If you agree then I will edit my post to reflect this tomorrow, tonight is a little late for heavy writing. That brings me back to Huntaers post, I wanted to know if he was posting an arrival or ships already in system. If they weren't in system already then they would be kept out by my FTLi, so even if you lowered yours then mine would keep his out. I'm not saying that all GE forces were kept out, just those that are trying to come in after my post about my fleet.
Oh, and thanks for being reasonable about this. I know too many people who just scream that I was GMing and it was impossible to ambush their fleet and they are t3h h4x0rs instead of working it out.

Scellia, please go on MSN or AIM and contact me on either, this will be alot easier over an IM.
No, your weapons are fine, however sending the whole fleet through one gate is going to be a challenge as the dimensional portal is limited in size by the FTLi's.
I agree about Huntaer and I will ask him to alter his posts.
However what im saying is that with the whole nature of the FTLi's expanding a portal beyond the size of the gate can't happen now, and as I gathered from Gronde, that the gates can only hold the portals open, so as soon as its destroyed, IE - trying to bring too many ships through its gonna close and your fleets will be divided into a quater.
We did think about this before you sprung it, and decided you guys wouldn't pull it off for this very reason....
You should thank gronde for claiming that he would tactically outsmart us, we've seen a whole range of ideas now that you guys are probably going to pull off.
OOC: Uhh, I used to have AIM about three years ago but never used it so I'm pretty much restricted to TGs and OOC stuff. I'll look into reactivating my account but not tonight, anyway back to the point. I need to know how many gates there are and how big they are, however even if the holes in the FTLi went away with their destruction if I had a few Battleships through the breach they could hold it open and allow the rest of the ships to pass through an extended portal. It would take a split second longer, but if I can't fit at least three Battleships through at once then this becomes much more complicated.
Interestingly you can use friction as an example for the gate, to overcome the coefficient of static friction is higher then that nessessary to maintain an object in motion. The example is is that the gates are like an object in motion, I may not have enough power to make an object move but I can keep an object in motion going. Even increase the speed before approaching the limit imposed by force, which would be unable to start an object but is enough to accelerate an object already in motion. I'll post an entirely new post along these lines in the new IC thread, it will be essesantially a major edit of the post I made.
If you don't think this will work then I will say how I start putting my fleet through once I know the size of the portal. Probably about the time one of your fighter squadrons start to attack it, if you don't mind I will post that in the new post that I will make tomorrow.

This is one of the main reasons why I don't often RP with dimensional tech
Anyways, I'm glad we have come to a conclusion politely instead of the OMGZORZ!
I would think staging your fleet through several of the gates would be more realistic, remember Gronde has more then one. But I feel that keeping the gates open, against two FTLi's would be crushing, even to your battleships and my owns efforts. - - - - Another reason why I never use FTLi's. I only used it here as gronde used his.
But yeah, I think me and you can go onto a show down in the battlefield, I've been wanting to test my new Omega ISD's. But yeah we can do it this way. I'll ask the other guys to let me and you RP it out, so we can rp he battle properly.
Does all this sound okay, if not let me know and we can sort something else out.

Already gave you permission of my fleet, Unified Sith, no worries here. If ya want me to post about my fleet, I sure will As Soon As Possible.
Anywho, back home now and typing form the library. This is where I'll be coming to for some time during the day, maybe not for as many days as I like, but I'll make the most of it.
Anyway, let's just have fun, thats what rping is all about!
Hmm, several gates could prove more interesting. How about two are in front of you and one is 'above' you and a little forward, I'll look for where you have fleet stats. Don't have time right now to download AIM again, but I'll get around to it today. That way we can hammer out the specifics this evening, and have a post by then.
OOC: My only remaining question is how would I Rp my fleet entering your space US? I know it'd take me very little time, but I thought that there was some sort of a "Gate." Personally, I'm rather confused by the last several posts (after my post at the top of the page) on what I should do.
ooc> Alright, again US and I have talked on AIM for a little while. We have been able to get everything cleared up. We decided that I should make an attempt to outline exactly what's going on (we may need to backtrack a little bit) so that we can keep it accurate in the IC thread.
Ok, here goes: I have two gateways in the system. Both of them are located very close to the 4th planet from the star, which is also the closest to the astroid fields, which as everyone should know, is in a full ring orbiting slowly around the star. There are 3 Gronde Orbital stations orbiting that planet, protecting them. It would be suicide to try to enter throught them, you can only go 2 ships at a time, unless I make the gate wider myself. One currently connected to the fabled AoN gateway network. The other leads right to the center of the Extra-dimentional current, which was the first reason for comming here. The former cannot be accessed except by sanctioned AoN members. The latter can be accessed if you can find out exactly which dimention that is being used. (which could take some time and research)
Next up, Chronosia entered at, what I have been informed to be, the outside of my FTLi field. This meens that it would take about an hour (maybe 45 minutes) to reach to astroid field which is between them and the gates. This also means that Scellia will have to enter the system through the AoN gateway. Chronosia has not engaged my forces yet.
US: I am not sure where you are comming in at though. Just outline that when you get the chance.
Lastly, this thread and the IC thread are to be used for the engagements at this system and this system only. If you are attacking another target, make a new thread and link it to this on or whatever.
You should thank gronde for claiming that he would tactically outsmart us, we've seen a whole range of ideas now that you guys are probably going to pull off.
And they are probobly all wrong. Lol.
ooc: Gronde AIM or MSN, I have somethings to discuss...
Its working again. My AIM is Oberst Christoph. I on around the time this post is being made every day.
Then I'm going to presume that US is going to attack those gates eventually, how wide can you make them. If I can get most of my Battleships and Dreadnoughts through in short order then I can really do something, my CAs and DDs can sneak in under stealth were my DNs and BBs are too big to do that. I don't know how much time I will have today, I'm tather busy for just today so I might not get an IC post till tomorrow. If so then I'm sneaking in DDs and CAs now, otherwise I will post something to that effect. Last post for now, try and find you on AIM later if I get it downloaded and set up by then.

The AoN gateway network portals can get wide enough to support about 12 large ships at a time. So it would probobly take you a few minutes for a large fleet to get through.

I got a question or two. First: Whose on whose side? Little confusing.
Second: I am a member of the Galactic Senate and a member of the Imperial Party, and am interesting in perhaps sending a small fleet to take part in this rp, so I need to have my first question answered.
Third: I can still arrive to the area where everything is taking place by using hyperspace right? So I can use my light-speed engines? No inhibiters to that?
