(OOC: for the discussion of the proposed treaty in Berlin, i fugured i might aswell post it, Hope Germany doesn't mind)

Émile François Loubet wishes to discuss several topics in the order given below

Alsace-Lorraine, "this subject has caused great tensions between our nations before, it has seen many wars fought over it and has seen innocent men and women die and both sides, we are willing to make a concession, the land will be divided as is now"

Sea Power, "I suggest a mingling of both our waters, meaning that French ships can travel through German waters and Visa Versa, we would also be willing to exchange certain technical breakthroughs and assist in the research of new ship designs"

Pacts, "We propose that we be unified in all military moves made in our two countries, a pact of non-agression and a mutual pact of aid will suit this need"

Discontenters, "It has come to my attention that certain individuals in my country are up in arms at my recent moves towards a unifyed(sp?) peaceful Europe, I wonder if the same is true for your country, if so we would like to propose that anyone attempting to break this alliance be tried as a terrorist, and imprisoned for life"

"we hope that these terms are acceptable and we look forward to your response, it is hoped that Franko-Deutsch relations will cause others to forget long seeted rivalries"

The Treaty of Berlin was the final Act of the Congress of Berlin (June 13-July 13, 1878), by which the United Kingdom, Austria-Hungary, France, Germany, Italy, Russia and Turkey revised the Treaty of San Stefano (http://www.zum.de/whkmla/histatlas/balkans/sanstefano.gif) signed on March 3(the independence day of Bulgaria)the same year.
The Berlin threaty is one of the foolishest European covenants ever and is one of the causes(maybe the major one) for the first world war.

(OOC: now heres a few of Accos funny facts number 1

1. There are actually 4 treaties accredited to being the treaty of Berlin, the earliest being 1878 and the most recent in 1926, being as this is an alternative history it is resonable toi assume that the last two of these so called "Berlin Treaties" (both post 1900) would never happen, leaving me free and open to call this treaty (which by the way is being signed in Berlin((hence the name))) whatever i damn well please, it is relating to an alliance between France (me) and Germany (i don't remember) the resulting riots will no doubt destabalize my country and leave it a wreck of it's former self

2. I chacked, you aren't even a part of the Alternative History 1900-2000 and so unless you're someones puppet then please go to this thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=424002) and sign up as an untaken country, hey you may enjoy it, i don't know cos i'm not a psychologist
