Good day to you all. I am the Prime Minister of the United Socialist States of Gebirgsland. I would like to highlight a growing trend in our nation which I believe merits the attention of not only the region of 0000000000, in which Gebirgsland resides, but also many other nations and respective regions.

Gebirgsland has always prided itself as being a champion of religious freedom. Our government is completely secular and does not give preference to any single religious body or establishment. Likewise, we do not prohibit the worship activities of any religion.

*However.*

There seems to be a very real problem with the current state of Christianity, both Protestant and Catholic, in our nation. Increased reports of violence against other faiths, harassment, forced conversion due to threats against life and property, racism, child abuse, murder of homosexuals by religious groups and attempts to "Christianize" the government, by force if necessary, are growing at an alarming rate.

Thusly, the legislative body of Gebirgsland has put forward a resolution to deal with these radical Christians. A special taskforce, the NABT (National Anti-Bigotry Taskforce) shall be established to, under our nation's privacy laws, identify those committing these activities, and subsequently arrest them to be tried within the judiciary.

This legislation will hopefully be passed in due time, and that is why I would like to invite any other nation or region who supports this legislation to join our social democracy of Gebirgsland in spreading peaceful religious activity throughout the world. Please leave a reply if you would like to support this proposed group.

Well, if no other nations would like to support this legislation, I will turn to my home region.

Religious bigots are one of the biggest problems the world has faced. Religion leads to unrest, treason and impediment of progress. It must be stopped

Lucis DeDeus of Latiatis warns he will also lead his devout nation to battle along side ViZion if ANY religion is specifically targeted while others get off easy.

My advisors and I, along with the rest of Gebirgsland's parliament, find it a bit strange that you would give preference to Christians, rather than members of any other religions, in this type of situation.

Our nation does not allow this kind of activity by any religious group or body. It is merely the understanding of a majority of the parliament that while we have dealt with other religious bigotry more efficiently, we have, in some cases, let radical Christians "off the hook", so to speak.

Any found guilty of these crimes of bigotry or violence will be given a fair trial. If convicted, depending on the seriousness of the crime, they could be imprisoned for 1-7 years for harassment and bigotry, and would recieve life in prison for murder, if they are found guilty.

Also, if you are planning on invading our nation, be advised that we are a peace-loving people, and will only defend ourselves against you, rather than launch an offensive. Please, do not try to impose biased ideas on our nation. We are merely cracking down on a problem as we do with all religious bigotry. Good day.

We are not giving "preference" to the Christians. If it were Muslems, Jewish, or any other religion in this situation that was specifically being targetted or named, we would say the same thing.

We just hope you will are not targetting any one specific religion, in this case Christians, or punishing those who are not guilty of the said crimes. If they have truly committed these crimes, we have no problem with what you do to them. But if they are not guilty, or are allowing others, but not Christians, so slide without such punishments, we will have a problem.

I would like to thank the nations which have responded for their support and questions about Gebirgsland's legislation. The current voting within parliament is underway, and the final review of the proposed department will be left to I and my cabinet, to make sure that the legislation is in the best interest of all of our citizens and that the majority (2/3) has decided in its favor or against it. My nation does not believe in religion on the basis that it disturbs the creation of one's own personal philosophy by which we should all govern our lives, however in the past we did have problems with religous fanatics and we can understand your trouble, We also fully support any measures taken (short of mass-murder) to stem the flow of religion related attacks.

I, as the leader of MacDuffie, support your actions. We will stand with you in arms to defend your nation if necissary, and we are more than glad to help deal with igotry, be it Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims, ect.

We also consider religion to be a severe threat to public and national security due to harassment and terrorist actions committed by extremist followers. Violators are executed in the central square of their respected community. And no religious group is singled out. They're all traitors, terrorists and a public nuissance

Leafanistan considers the action by New Crystal Isles to be the most extreme. Religion is a means of controlling the masses, if you use it right, people will obey the government as much as they obey their God. They'll even consider the government "ordained by God" and love it fanatically. That is a morale booster in warfare. Now we applaud what the Lone Alliance has suggested, no one, no group should be allowed to commit this disgusting action without recieving the proper punishment. However, we hope that the punishment for anyone commiting this crime is the same.

Controlling of the masses is carried out by a mass conscript military/police force, and increased survaillence measures. Our military morale is at an all-time high due to the salaries of soldiers recently being increased and the legalization of private use of marijuana. Our scientists are also currently working tirelessly to develop a serum that gives psycological effects that enhance morale therefore our need for reliqion in the aformentioned sense has been diminished

Gebirgsland would like to make clear that it does not support religious coercion, nor a "litmus test", as it has been called, for our government employees and members of parliament.

As such, we would like to state that our nation is established on the ideals of civil rights and the right to privacy, and we allow citizens to pursue their own ideas of religious (and non-religious) thought.

Therefore, let your fears be put to rest that our country is in any way intolerant or uses methods of forcing ideas and beliefs on our citizens, or persecutes certain groups while letting others get away with crimes. Bigotry, in the USSG, is not tolerated.
