OOC: I'm trying something new for a change and I'm kind of making this up as I go along. This is a thread that I intend to lead into something bigger. Hopefully this will lead to me bringing back a dead wizard. Anyways, anyone can join if they would like. I'll try to keep it interesting for you.

After several more years after renewing the war with the United Mankind, the Abh had finally recaptured territory in between it's nations. The Empress had an idea that could very well change her empire. The very area where the war with the UM had started, was recaptured. At that very spot, the Empire had suffered it's first casualty.

Captain Lexshue of the Gosroth and her entire crew were killed. She also happened to be the mother of the Princess Lafiel and second heir to the throne, Prince Dusanh. If the Empress wanted to test this little theory out, this was the best candidate that there ever was.

The Empress sent a message to the Gaians asking that they please arrive at the capital for an important mission.

This is Empress Romage. To the Gaians I have an intriguing favor to ask of you. I know that you have the ability to bring souls back to long dead bodies. I have a very important fallen comrade that is missed terribly by some of my commanders. I ask that you come to the capital and discuss this issue further.

The Ascendancy meanwhile, mostly recovered from the inital Dark Eternal invasion, though missing still about 6 percent of their population, essentially all still slaves of the Dark Eternals, were still busy trying to clone and create new lifeforms, as well as 'buy' new bloodlines from other nations to help reestablish a presence in the Malcor Corridoor, the invasion route taken by the Dark Eternals, as they needed at least 30 billion souls to make the area vibrant enough again.

Hence query of assistance from the Abh that came out of nowhere was seen as a chance for the Ascendancy to gain something of their own need.

Lady Peorth decided to handle this one, and called over Lady Naja Akara, Washu's personal assistant to help in this endeavor.

The following message was sent back a week later to the Abh empire.

:: ~ We have recieved your request for aid, and like we did for Lady Aura once, we can do the same, with reasonable hope, for your fallen.

However, we musy warn we cannot be utterly certain we can meet your needs, but will give this all the attention it deserves. I personally will come with a HospitalShip and a TreeShip flotilla in two days time.

We also have a request of our own when we arrive, not one unreasonable, and not an expectant payment, but one of our need due to the war against the Dark Eternals.

That two days later, a very advanced Medical ship, and six Hikari Fleet Treeships arrive via Fold near the Abh capital space-city. They transmit IDC and IFF, and their intentions.

The tower guard received the message and gave coordinance for them to standby and informed them as to where to dock their shuttle.

Your aid in this is most greatly appreciated. I understand that this may not work but I am thankful nonetheless that you are willing to try. Please send any all who wish to attend and I will have a small escort awaiting you. As to your wish, you may ask anything.

Lady Seto responded herself that she and Lady Naja would head over by themselves. Soon after a Lambada class shuttle heads over from a large Treeship and to the designated coordinates.

Four Abh guards arrived and bowed to the Gaians. "Please follow us."

They passed by some of the botanical gardens and a few holographic art pieces.

They later enetered the throne room. Romage greeted them warmly

Romage: "Greetings and welcome! Is this the first time at our capital? Allow us to make you welcome. What was the wish you desire?"

Seto however replies.. "Thank you Empress, but before we conduct our needs, we should ensure your own is feasable in the first place. As such, we need to know how we can attempt to help, as well as the details.

Our technology is at your disposal, we only hope luck is as fortunate."

Naja meanwhile stayed back, rather silent.

Romage nodded, "Yes the trick will be to get your people into Plane Space because that is what dimension this tragedy took place. If I am correct, that would mean that your ships need to enter such dimensions. I have every engineer available in the docks ready to start retro-fitting your ships with Space Time generators. If the integration is successful then the rest shall be up to you. I would like Captain Lexhsue resurrected along with her crew if it is possible. There was also precious cargo that was lost to me. It is not the typical merchandise. It is actually a body that had been in an eternal slumber waiting to be awaken. I shall disclose the details of that woman at a latter time for I am afraid that I will call upon your services again."

Seto nods, then replies back to Naja. "Care to infer this next part, or shall I?"

Naja smirks, her cream colored mane tossled with a head shake. "I can do so." ..she says in a rough tone. "..after all, we had prepared special modular ports in this specific fleet for a case very much like this one, knowing we may have had to enter Plane space at some point.

We would like an Abh crew to accompany the vessels we send, since they understand such travel better than we. More the better we can learn as well."

Seto then adds. "As for the rest, terms of alliance mean we are at your disposal. We don't hold debts except against enemies we have openly declared against."

The Empress was already nodding as she they finished their statements. "Yes I had already arranged for such matters. I myself shall accompany you on this mission. Princess Lafiel and her father, Lord Dusanh, along with Prince Dusanyu shall command several of your ships. I will also send along several more crew memembers to help train your people on how to monitor the generators. Later, more details on the specs on the generators themselves can be forward to your technicians. Is there anything else to discuss before we depart?"

Seto replies quickly. "No, we shall depart when all is ready." ..she then orders the small fleet to begin emplacement of planespace space-time generator units within their vessels.

It would take less than two days to fully integrate the systems with Ascendant level technology, with Ascendant Avian Lords and Gaians working with their Abh counterparts quickly.

After two days, all Ascendant vessels had been fully integrated with Space Time generators. Their fleet was ready to depart along with a contingent of the Empress's personal fleet of about 50 patrol ships.

The Empress along with Lord Dusanyu,Princess Lafiel,Count Jinto, and Lord Dusanh met with the Gaians. Behind the Empress were several younger Admirals to command ships for the sake of gaining experience. More importantly were four Mord-Sith in their red leather outfits carrying an iron case with them. The crew that were helping the Gaians install the new technology and teach them the basics, were still on board.

Ramaj: "I have enough Admirals brought with me to guide each ship you have along with some senior officers. Prince Dusanyu you know but I would like you to meet Lord Dusanh. He is Princess Lafiel's father and is already a veteran. I also would like to introduce the Princess's husband, Count Jinto of the Lynn Sune Roc Hyde. We shall depart as soon as you are ready and you may choose which Officers to command which ships."

Seto then introduces.. "This is Lady Naja Akara, the nigh equal to Lady Washu in the Science Advisory. She will be here to collect whatever samples we find, as well as determine genetic viability.

Lady Lafiel and Lord Jinto I believe we have met already prior, as well as one other, forgive my memory, but such was at the Second Trade Conference a few years back."

She then looks at the Admirals. "I will take the most senior on my vessel, spread the others on the remainder of our ships, no preference. And we may depart immediately." She then holds up her wrist-comm and orders.. "All Ascendancy vessels will depart in fifteen minutes." ..acknowledgements then allow Lady Seto to guesture. "After you all please. The sooner, the better as they say."

Lady Naja meanwhile looks around at the various Abh with more neutrality. She is usually like this however to most.

Empress Ramaj smiled. "Then we shall leave immediately. Prince Dusanyu, myself, the Princess, and the young Count shall accompany us. Lord Dusanh shall command the escort fleet for support and the others shall well be on their way to the other vessels. Oh and the Mord-sith shall also accompany us as well. It will take about two hours to arrive the coordinates as soon as we enter the Sord."

The Abh commanders divided up and boarded their respective Gaian vessels. The Mord-Sith carried the iron case down to the cargo bay and stood guard while the Empress, Prince Dusanyu, Lafiel, and Jinto remained on the bridge with Lady Seto.

About two hours later, the coalition of Abh and Ascendany forces arrived at the coordinates where the battle of the Gosroth had taken place. The Empress then turned to Lady Seto... "This is the place where the Gosroth was destroyed. What must be done now, is up to you. Here we shall follow your lead."

The Ascendancy flotilla had followed along through hyperspace backup drives, and then using the space-time drive the first time when they entered the Sord. Even the Ascendancy sensors were blind in this new environment, and the Ascendancy crews compensated by tagging a vessel to keep close to an Abh vessel, and beam-linking coordinate plots betweem them.

When they arrive, the Ascendancy warship's viewscreens are filled with the off-key green coloration of the space-time bubble field.

Seto listens and nods to Empress Ramaj, and then looks back at Lady Naja. "Well, lets see if you can outdo Washu for once."

Naja smirks rather greedily. "Time to break a few rules."

Naja orders the HospitalShip to take position over the given coordinate set, guessed as to where the Gosroth was destroyed. Presuming there had be no drift, then the vessel's task would be resolved in the realm of temporal and genetics mechanics.

For the next three days, the crew of the Ascendancy HospitalShip used focused space-time temportal degenerators, ones meant to break into the space-time plannars of time itself, to find viable material. They could only go a certain length of time back, and not breach a critical barrier where time couldn't be controlled.

It was like archeology, digging through the 'dirt' of time itself, to find the desired artifacts. Trying to find samples in present time was near impossible to due degredation.

The best samples would be up to five years past the destruction moment. samples could then be drawn and stored, tested for viability, as well as specific subject, and then tested further for what genetic material is needed to resestablish the chomosome patterns for the Gene-Refab units. The fact that the direct bloodlines of the Abh killed were mostly present, and enough added Abh to gain genetic material from to complete mapping sequences, began to tell a positive tale.

..if slow. This was something 'never' before attempted. Bringing the dead back through time to the present moment. Aura was 'easier' in comparison, and if this succeeded, then the Ascendancy was all but making their techniques perfect.

Such could be 'very' prolific when the invasion of the Dark Eternals finally came. Even the supposedly lost dead might be recoverable. 'That' would change so many things. At a time everything was changing even moreso, this kind of thing as nigh a holy grail of it's own stead.

Still, care, deep deep care was taken to protect the genetic samples recovered. They were very determined, even enough to scare the faces of onlooking Abh, of their resolve to ensure 'exacting' genetic samples would be recovered. Knowing genetic mindwaves as well due to celestial assistance, this was being carefully worked over as well.

If all went well enough, a subject of 98.4% genetic viability, would regain 91.3% of their memories. Not perfect, but that was a fools game to even try. Best as possible was the goal, even with such exacting methods.

Three days later, Lady Naja, reporting to Lady Seto as she talks at deep and great length of everything about the Ascendancy with the Abh royals, informs.. "We 'can' recover about 87 percent of the crew, despite temporal drift.

We 'have' a full sample of Lady Captain Lexhsue ready to go through the Gene-Refab Unit assigned to her. We need permission to proceed. It will take a good week to ensure the subject is viable 'and' stable. After, she should be ready to reenter the world of the living."

Lady Seto smiles, and looks at the Empress. "If you wish it, do please make the order."

Ramaj smiled and nodded... "This is better than I had originally hoped for. You have my permission to proceed as planned. But I do have one issue to bring up with you. There is the matter of a certain 'cargo' that was on board. She was alive, figuratively speaking, but in stasis lock. We had her soul brought back from a state of limbo. She and her husband are an ancient people that fought a powerful evil long ago. We have brought her back to life in order to resurrect her husband. Unfortunatly the UM found out about our little plan and destroyed the ship carrying her. I would like you to also see if you can bring her back to life for me. I imagine that she and her husband may be able to help you fight off the Dark Eternals to some extent."

Seto asks back, while Naja clicks her wrist-comm and makes the appropriate orders. "Was this 'cargo' on the Gosroth when it was destroyed, or another vessel?"

Meanwhile, the Gen-Refab Units begin to work overtime with all the reconstructed samples they recovered.

"The 'cargo' was kept on board the Gosroth. There should be some decent remains of the body given that she was being kept in a ray shielded hull."

Seto chuckles a bit, looking at Count Lin. "Looks like you weren't the only special transit, if I read the history report correctly."

Seto then looks at Jaja, who in turn already is a step ahead. Seto is given a seperate Padd, and Seto looks, and smirks at Naja, who is in turn smirking that much 'more'.

Seto then hands the Padd to the Empress. "Looks like we already beat you to that goal as well."

Looking at the Padd, the 'exact' objective required is among the special assets 'recovered', including sensitive items from the Gosroth. The Gaians had collected 'non'-organic samples and units as well from the stricken ship.

They 'also' found genetic material from the UM vessels that started the whole war in the first place, including captains and commanders.

Ramaj looked as pleased as an Abriel could look. "This is most wonderful news. I believe you have outdone yourself this time. Please proceed as planned."

Dusanyu also smiled warmly as an Abriel could. "This has been a most fruitful excursion. It has been a pleasure to work beside you all. I'm looking forward to seeing the look on Admiral Abriel and Lafiel's faces when they see their lost one returned to us. Now what to do with the remenants of the UM. Should we bring them back to from the dead just so we can put them through Abh Hell and then eventually kill them again?"

Ramaj: "No it is not worth the effort. Let them keep their fate."

She then turned to her clyuno speaking to the Mord-sith..."Have the Sword of Truth brought up to the bridge. Other than her husband, the Mother Confessor is the only one that should wield it."

Dusanyu looked to the Gaians "Soon I suppose you shall meet an ancient magic in a woman from a world long destroyed by a war between good and evil."

Seto rubs her chin. "Such might be an interesting thing to see." ..not mentioning how 'close' the Ascendancy was to breaching 'this' barrier as well.

Seto however offers.. "We will take the remains of the UM souls, and reintroduce them to the Ascendancy way. In fact, I think it is time I infer our part of this entire deal."

Seto takes a few steps away from the others, rubs her scalp, and then imparts, turning back towards them. "We would like your permission to claim a copy of genetic material, from essentually as much of the populations of the terrestrial planets from both the Abh Empire, and the conquered UM territories. We are asking the Dominion for this right from UM conquered areas as well.

We need 'something' to replace the hundreds of billions of Ascendancy souls literally stolen from us when the Dark Eternals were ejected from the Archonis Supercluster. This left many many planets void of civilized life, worse most of native non-civilized life were scourged from them.

It's both a tragedy that fuels our Jihad, and makes less of resource and commerce capability from these worlds. Even by the time the invasion comes, we project that natural growth, enhanced from Sibiko units and other womb technologies, that only 37.4 percent of the effective populations would be restored.

We need to speed this, not to mention find new genetic fodder for our ramped up clone troop centers." Seto looks hard at the Abh royals. "If we are to burn the Dark Eternals from most of their territories, we need blood of mortals to help do it with.

Hence my reason, however morbid, our request. We can offer Genetic Tech-Masters to help gain samples as we need, and only need permission. In exchange, the planets we conquered in UM territory would become Abh extentions, as well as giving you the rights to Gene-Refab Unit technology without hesitation or limitation." Seto says, trying hard to keep a straight face. This is a difficult deal she is proposing.

Prince Dusanyu replied for the Empress... "You may do what you wish with the souls from the UM, but I am curious as to why you want the genetic makeup from the Abh. Why is it so important that you have ours as well? I understand that you want to create new life for decimated planets, but wouldn't you in effect be cloning already living Abhs?"

At that time the four Mord-Sith brought up the encased sword.

Seto rubs her chin. "I will rephrase, and note that the Abh are 'not' included in these genetic needs. We mainly need nahenud, enough to give life once more to our stripped worlds.

And it all isn't truly cloning, as in the processes we use in gene-tech, the DNA is changed enough to give a unique subject, and allow natural proliferation and occasional genetic resampling to expand our population base. Indeed it all may sound immoral and such to outsiders, but it's all a process we had to accept at Foundation to allow our civilization to survive.

In the end, we see life as more important that the moral aspects others may see. We don't use them to outright go to war, and we don't see killing as necessary anyway. And we don't steal genetic material. Every single strand of DNA in the Sphere is either earned or bartered for."

Seto then sighs. "It's all harder to justify in the end that it might sound, but I like to think our realm speaks for itself."

She then sees the object coming forth. "Well now..."

Meanwhile, the Gene-Refab units were going overdrive on all the recovered samples. Overdrive 'was' overdrive. Gaian personnel were even rushing between stations to make sure all the processes were operationg correctly. All this for 'another' civilization on top of, one they saw great respect for.

That tended to make the work very efficient.

Now it was Dusanyu's turn to think it over for a moment...

"I understand where you come from. Afterall, we hold no restrictions over our own people when it comes to creating their children and their genetics."

He thinks for a moment...then turns to Ramaaj

"By your majesty's permission. I say to allow the Gaians to have what they ask for"

"You are the next in line so I suppose this will be good practice for you in such matters. Very well, we shall do as the Prince has declared. You will have the freedom into our genetics to take what you need."

As the Mord-sith approached Ramaaj turned to Seto...

"Where is Kahlan, the Mother Confessor, being rehabilated at? This sword belongs to her for the moment."

Seto echoes.. "Mother Confessor.. *looking at the Empress* ..the subject you mentioned as 'cargo'. If that be, please follow me." ..and Seto begins to head towards a teleporter station near the aft zone of the command bridge.

The rest followed Lady Seto to the teleporter.

A warning occurred to the Empress..."I must warn you of something. No one is to touch her at all. It doesn't matter if they are wearing any kind of protection at all. The reason she is called a Confessor is because of her power. She has the ability to erase everything that makes the individual...them. With every fiber of their being completely gone, the individual focuses on nothing but pleasing her. It is quite a long story of how they were created, but just don't have anyone touch her until she is capable of controling herself and her power."

Seto asks just as the teleporter is activated by a Tech that acknowledges her nod. "Does this include angels or droids, or just normal mortals? The latter case will be complied with, but Genetic Recomposition still requires some form of contact."

At that moment, the group is teleported enmasse to the HospitalShip.

"Her power shouldn't effect droids nor do I think it will effect angels. But that has never been proved. Any other mortal though, she has absolute control over."

Seto nods, and after the teleport over, Seto informs several Med-Techs of this very fact, and soon only droids and two Arch-Angels are allowed near, the angels using Antimagic Circles to ensure some measure of safety.

Then Seto leads the group somewhat near the Gene-Refab Unit. "Here we are."

The Unit stands on a higher level, connected with a standard ladder. The droids are near some status consoles. The angels floating above them.

All look around in awe. The facility was abosultly amazing...

"What goes in to creating such a facility?"

"How much longer until everyone is ready to exit their Gene-Refab units?"

Seto infers. "A few days to ensure the genetic formats hold, and the mental patterns don't destabilize. I suggest a good regimine of wait and patience until then.

The technology still has to obey certain rules, and time as well."

"All understandable. So what do you recommend in the meantime?"

Seto smiles, and then mentions.. "Sake and relaxation tends to be my way to kill time."

*Four days later*

Lady Naja's voice comes over the various comms all of a sudden. "It's time everyone. They're ready to wake up."

Seto soon dresses and heads out of her personal palace chambers in her Hikari Treeship's Dimensional Unit.

Ramaaj, Dusanyu, Lafiel, Jinto, Dusanh, and the Mord-sith were down near the Gene-Refab units.

Lafiel, Jinto and Dusanh were waiting for Lexshue to awake while Dusanyu, the Empress and the Mord-sith were standing by waiting for the Mother Confessor to awake.

The steel case containing the Sword of Truth was unlocked.

Seto appears and then notes Lady Naja up above on a third level tier Unit section. She then nods to the Abh royals, and then.. "So, all 'is' ready is it not?"

Lady Naja above imparts... "The stasis fields are being lowered as we speak. Give it a minute. All indications are all the parameters were met, though two subjects had to be kept in stasis for unusual symptoms from time-space exposure. They will need another hour to be safe.

But the ones everyone is worried about came through perfectly."

At that, several indicators begin to sound on many Unit consoles. "Here we go." Naja says, and in the next few minutes, the Units begin to 'reawaken'. Soon, the Abh are fully awake, and 'aware'.

Seto then has the Gaians keep back unless needed medically.

Lafiel and Dusanh are thrilled to see their beloved Lexshue back alive while Dusanyu and the Empress walk over to the Mother Confessor with the Mord-sith.

"Plakya!" and Dusanh wraps her up in a great hug and for the longest moment in unable to let go of her.

Lafiel on the other hand drags her husband, Jinto, over to her. "It seems you knew what you were doing afterall when you sent me and Jinto out on the communications ship. It was a rough journey but it brought us closer together than anything possibly could.

The rest of them spent time catching up on what had happened during their long separation and telling her of Jinto and Lafiel's son and hope to some day have a daughter. Lexshue was just merely stunned to be alive but happy to be back with her family.

Ramaaj helped Kahlan out of her stasis chamber "Mother Confessor it is good to see you alive. I am afraid a time has come when you and your husband are needed."

She then points to the gathered Mord-sith "We have managed to resurrect some of your protectors and friends and would have succeeded in your case but because of diverse situations, we were unable to. The Sword of Truth was recovered as well at the cost of many of my people's lives. It belongs to you until your husband is brought back to the life."

Carla walks over presenting Kahlan with her white Confessor's dress and the Sword of Truth. "Welcome back. You look well. I don't know about you but I can't wait to have Lord Rahl back. It's been kind of boring without him here to pester."

They both share a laugh but Kahlan looks to Ramaaj "What is all this....?"

Ramaaj sighed... "You are now thousands of years into the future. The war with the Dreamwalker Ja'gang left your world completely destroyed. That titanic battle between the evil of the Keeper that he brought with him and the goodness of your husband left all of you in a state of limbo. The planet that you were from has been recreated. It shall be protected and off limits to all under pain of death. You will have what you need to rebuild your palace and empire. The only thing needed is to bring back the great War Wizard."

She then takes a deep breath... "I fear that the Dreamwalker has reawakened or the Keeper has come forth in a new way. You are needed again and the people present here have already started to fight it. They call them the Dark Eternal and the Gaians here are responsible for bringing you back to life."

The news staggers her and she can only think of one response "Just please bring back my husband."

"We'll try." Ramaaj turned to the Gaians there.... "Thank you so very much. We are in your debt for this."

Seto just giggles. "We hold debts against enemies only. This is 'part' of the alliance as it all is. Now if you would take the time to meet his Excellency as I keep suggesting to your subordinates around here. He truly wishes to meet you."

Just then, a comm-Tech comes up next to Seto. "Pardon me madams, but we recieved a communicae from a vessel bearing the IFFF of the Admiral of the 17th Assault Fleet."

Seto blinks and almost laughs. "Isn't that the Lady Shruio that keeps finding her way into our own Excellency's life? Dear me, this will be interesting."

"She wishes to board and discuss with the Empress here for a short time, as we were informed."

Seto waves the tech back some, and then looks at Lady Ramaaj. "Shall we allow this tryst Empress?"

"I shall meet this Lady Shruio and his Excellency. Please lead the way."

She then turned to Kahlan.. "I believe it will be good for you to witness some of the politics in this age."

Seto nods. "I am suprised as well by this. (Didn't know the kid was free at a time like this.)" ..she thinks the last to herself.

The HospitalShip soon has an Abh Communications Ship, one that is met in the vast HospitalShip docking bay, one designed to influx mass casualties from the battlefield in immense triage areas, sees a far more interesting event take place.

Out from the vessel emerges Frode Shurio, her sister and XO Trilluu, then Lady... "grandaugther?" ..Seto says, as Tsunami emerges, and then Lord Aleaic emerges, the two dressed in simple royal robes, or Shinto-kimono of royal design in Tsunami's lavish case.

Aleaic and Tsunami meet and bow to Seto, as the Abh bow very much towards the Empress.

Ramaaj stands tall "Allow me to introduce to you those that are at attendence with me. This is Prince Dusanyu, Prince Dusanh, Pricess Lafiel and her husband the Count Hyde, Captain Lexshue, and Mother Confessor Kahlan Amnell."

"To what honor do we owe this unexpected visit?"

Aleaic nods and greets his wife as well, and then answers... "Apparently... her." ..he says with a nod to Admiral Shurio. Trilluu ends up just being neutrally silent, as Shurio offers..

"...your majesty, but actually the author of my request, is from his Goddess quite bluntly."

Tsunami groans. "That woman is being such a pain."

Aleaic groans in the same tone. "Nothing new."

"And what request is that?"

Aleaic squirms under Tsui's sidelong gaze, as Lady Shurio informs. "I wish to become one of the Excellency's twelve imposed mates, as the Lady Goddess Creation spoke of into my mind.

..which is all strange enough considering our lack of a true faith. Not to mention, that my feelings have become genuine."

Aleaic really starts to squirm under Tsui's direct sight. Aleaic just snaps back. "I TOLD you this all wasn't my idea!"

Tsunami just softly replies. "You were the one that Exiled yourself to Earth, and started everything that led to this."

Shurio and an annoyed Tsui both point at Aleaic. Aleaic just sighs, and Seto has a difficult time holding back her laughter.

Ramaaj gives an exasperated sigh "Then what does any of this have to do with us?"

Seto offers.. "I suspect this is one of those cross national marriages bits. You know."

Aleaic just sighs. "I've been in wars that are less difficult."

The explanations are simplified that Shurio requests official approval of all this, with no risk to the Abh as a result. Aleaic just considers getting drunk.

"I suppose you are free to marry whoever you wish. But why do you need my approval or the approval of any Abh presently here?"
