a NBC facility in the Deamon back mountains was attacked yesterday by a large force of unidentified enemy troops, it is thought that they were backed up by artillary and armoured support.

The base released a automated distress call and government forces rushed to the scene.

However when they arrived they found the site of the base a glass coated plain.

It seems that the base was destroyed by one of the weapons being developed there.

It is as yet unknown whether it was destroyed by the attackers or the defending garrison.
