After declaring itself independant from the Republic, the Empire of Taledonia seemed to be doing well, until the Emperor became sick and died. He had no heir, and now the question of who would be the new Emperor was on the table.

Of course, there were many who declared themselves Emperor, but it only went as far as words. The great Kellerman dynasty that had ruled since the founding of Taledon was now shattered, and a new destiny for the Empire would be forged, forged by war.

Every system in the Empire took a side, either for Centurion Marcus Aurelli, Minister Fortas Gulay, or for the ressurection of the Republic. Who would win, was still to be decided.

Iarn, ever a opertunitist, immidietly saw possibility of being able to prey off a nation. He placed a number of hyperspace Gates ((About the size of a fighter and cloaked)) into various systems in the taladonian empire. He would strike with his own people when he choose.

"Admiral!" called a crewman on border station IV, "We've picked up small craft dropping off hyperspace gates in our territory."

The Admiral walked over, "Excellent, it seems our good healthy Emperor's ploy has worked. We have the name of our next target, Oryger. I'll inform Taledonian command about this. I'm sure the invasion will begin shortly."

"Yes, Admiral."

"For want of a wife; a dynasty was lost" Marcus chuckled softly in the depths of the Imperial Palace; far off upon Chronosia Prime; far from the troubles of Taledonia. "I wonder, had she lived; would an heir have risen to save the Kellerman's. My old friend, how futile was your loss" A soft laughter. "I know the price of the future; that is why I can happily commend my sons to the abyss; should I wish it..."

The Imperial third Fleet led by Adrimal Sarin opens a mutliple wormholes into Taledonian space. Each ship went into it's own wormhole the mission of the fleet repay the Taledonians for there kindness.

IC: "Sir! Taledonia's declared independance of the Republic! And it's split! it's a civil war!"

"Good. now we wait untill they actualy battle..." he turned to his comm screen. "And how are the exploration of our arp points going? Anything within Taledonian space?"

"One, sit, but it's too far out and is a worthless ball of rock anyway. With that FTLi feild, we couldn't get anywhere from it."

"Keep looking. And keep your eyes out for any type 14s. And always go through cloaked."

"Aye siir, we've already been doing so."

Tag. I'll do something later.

"Emperor?" asked an aid from outside the Imperial office.

Emperor Kellerman looked up from what he was doing, "Hmm? Yes?"

The aid walked into the room and saluted, "All stations have reported in. The galactic community actually believes that you are dead and we are on the brink of civil war. Plus we have word that most Republic nations believe we actually have resigned from the Republic."

A smile formed on the Emperor's face, "Excellent, anything else to report?"

"Yes, sir. We have the name of our next target, Oryger. Plus Deatharon vessels have entered our territorry and calim they are here to repay our generosity."

"Excellent, keep me informed." concluded Kellerman.

The aid bowed, "Yes, sir." He then turned and left the room.

OCC: Sneaky....I like it.

The PSN Blak Heart Dawn was a stealth destroyer who was assigned to moniter the civil war that had recently broken out in Taledonia. So far it was gona be a boring mission.

PLEASE ignore this post I am just in a smart-alec mood!

Several Whitestars were dispaced to the war zones, each carrying a planet destroyer payload. The first targets were the worlds supporting each would-be emperor and the traditional home-world.

Hours later reports started coming in about entire planets, 20 in all, just suddenly exploding for no apparent reason.

OOC Ok, can I ask ya something? I am not a planetary nation, I am a nomadic race of space Pirates. You would actually have to catch my home ship to invade me, unless you started attacking my meteor bases, which are hard to find as it is. IC post soon to come.

(OOC: Well then it becomes less an act of Imperialism and more an act of law, which makes me seem more righteous. When and if I attack you(need to get permission from the Senate first) then I'll hunt down all your people and arrest them.)

OOC Ok, thats cool, you wouldn't catch me though. However, this is ineffectual. It wouldn't be anything like a conventional war, because we are litterally pirates.

OOC: ouch my Space Forces are noted to execute pirates. If you were considered a nation and not pirates and raiders. We would be mercful to prisoners of war but pirates tend to suffer when captured.

OOC So? I don't care if you kill my people, if they get caught its their own fault for not being able to get away. Harsh but our ways.

OOC: Out of curosity how does your nation's soceity work is it like a pirate Space Kingdom or something to that effect?

OOC its fairly complex, their is a leader, who presides on the mother ship. He is supream authority, however, a large part of the people are members of crusades ((Similar to clans)) which can be ordered by the Leader but are indipendant at all other times. They are not technically pirates, but the nation doesn't outlaw pirating, because its part of their culture.

OOC: Well thats intresting a society based on raiding and pirateing off everyone else. Do your people live in mobile colony ships or something to that effect?

OOC: Kinda like the Vaygr

Ok yes they are, highly based off it, but as always I added my own little tweks. I like the Vaygr, so I based a nation off them. *Glares at star wars nations* say nothing...Now, when thread maker attacks one of my gates then I will post.
