"And that's it for today's sports. Now to world news."

The camera cuts to a reporter shuffling some papers, with some statistics in the background.

"Today, the Dual Monarchy gave notice of a partial military mobilization, for reasons as of yet unknown, but believed to be related to the recent altercation near the nation of Hataria. All off-duty soldiers have been called up, and the tunnel to Nuevo Dias has been closed down to civilian traffic so that military units may have exclusive access."

A listing of units mobilized appears, scrolling across the bottom of the screen:

Land Units
1st, 3rd, and 5th Mechanized Corps (infantry and light vehicles)
4th and 5th Armored Divisions (Lion II tank destroyers for the most part)
32nd Heavy Armor Division (Admiral A-1s and their associated transport airships)
21st and 23rd Logistics Corps (the usual stuff needed to keep an army going)
101st Artillery Corps (artillery)
77th Engineer Corps (Combat engineers)

Air Units
55th, 69th, and 71st Heavy Lift Corps (transports and escorts)
35th Autonomous Attack Squadron (Air battle group, consisting of a UAV carrier, a destroyer, and assorted auxiliaries)

"In total, the military appears to be mobilizing more than 90,000 men in just infantry alone, and a couple of hundred tanks and heavy tanks. This is of course, not counting the other units involved. Stay tuned to the Axis Nova News Network (A3N) for further information as it comes in."

The channel cuts to an ad for the latest gimmick imported from Sileetris.

OOC:Hmmm... I would not suggest tank destroyers as your primary armored fighting vehicle, they may be well armed but are vulnerable on the sides, back, and top. The fact that they dont have a turret is a MAJOR downside. It prevents it from dealing with infantry armed with anti-tank weapons on its flanks.

“Sir, news report intercepted from Axis Nova. It looks like they’ve ordered a military mobilization, and called up several different units to service.” Said the Intelligence Analyst, standing at attention in the door.

Senior Intelligence Analyst Roland glanced up from his desk, at the waiting aide. “Oh?”

“Yes sir, pictures taken from orbit confirm movement of military units. It looks like their up to something.” She concluded

“Agreed, tag a satellite to monitor it, and keep an eye on it. If this escalates any further, alert me at once. We need to be sure that our interests in the area aren’t compromised by this situation.” Stated Roland

“At once, sir!” said the Analyst, clicking her heels, and saluting before returning to her workstation.

OOC: These tank destroyers are fast, lightly armored vehicles with 90mm linear guns in turrets. They're called tank destroyers since they have the firepower to handle other tanks, but rely on mobility and speed to protect themselves instead of armor.

OOC:90 mm? ETC or normal? If ETC... it would have the same power as a 120mm tank gun, if normal. It wont even scratch a T-80UMs Armor.

"Sir?" said Eileen Jacobson, a skinny brunette in her 30s, also General Cohenius's secretary.

"Yes, Eileen?" said the dictator at his desk."

"The head of intelligence requests that you look at the e-mail he sent you. And also your son got in trouble at school."

"I'll discipline him later. Thanks, Eileen."

She left his office as Cohenius openned his e-mail. It was a stream from A3N reported the military. "Eileen?"

"Yes, sir?"

"Order this camera for me. And tell the head of inteilligence to send 20 spies to The Axis Nova. Have fake documents produced and have them join the military. In case of war, we have officers on the inside."

"Right away, sir."

I said linear gun, not ETC gun or normal gun.

A linear gun is a weapon which, like a railgun, uses electromagnetic forces rather than gunpowder to fire its projectiles. However, the conductive projectiles fired from a linear gun don't come into physical contact with the firing mechanism, and are instead accelerated using attractive and repulsive magnetic forces, as in a so-called magnetic levitation (maglev) train. Although the acceleration produced is relatively small compared to that of a railgun, a linear gun can yield similar muzzle velocities if its barrel is long enough, and the lack of physical contact eliminates friction heat and wear on the barrel.
