The President was furious that the USSNA was making threats for invasion. They enemy were mobilizing across the border. The President was getting very worried that the fatherland would be invaded. He phoned the chiefs of staff, and asked that they use the same military that was used before the invasion of Portugal. The Chiefs agreed, The men were already mobilized. They were going to need a lot of intel about the enemy and make sure they are successful. If they make a mistake, It would cost them.
He wanted defensive measures to be taken. He wanted the Roman Navy to blockade all of Portugal, and bombard them to cut of supplies and strave them. The Air Force will destroy targets of military importance. They might use nuclear weapons against them to make a quick surrender. The Ground troops will mop up and create a version of the famous blitzkreg
The defensive measure that were to be take are: The Air Force will commense Combat Air Patrols, Air defense sites to be alert, AWACs, J-STARS, and Rivet Joints to provide surveilance, defenders in the UK will protect the beach. Navy will protect ports and intercept any threat that might come.
The units that were to invade Portugal:
40 Armored Cavalry Regiments (Each regiment: 123 M1A2 Abrams, 21 UH-60L Black Hawks, 127 M3A2 Bradley IFV/CFV, 24 Crusader Artillery, 52 RAH-66 Comanches, 18 Mortar Carriers, 12 M6 Linebacker Air Defense, Combat Enginner Company, Military Intel Company,
Chemical Company, Military Police Battalion, Support Squadron (Medical, Logistical, Maintenance, e.t.c.)), 15 Airborne Air Assualt Divisions (17,000 paratroopers, Aircrew, Ground crew, Logistics, etc. Inculdes Various vehicles and Tanks).
5 Air Attack Wings,(Each Wing: 200 F/A-22 Raptors, 200 F-15E Strike Eagles, 200 F-35S JSF, 200 F-117X Nighthawks, and 200 A/OA-10 Improved Warthogs), 15 Bomber Wings (Each Wing: 20 B-1B Lancers & 10 B-2A Sprits), A few Air Mobility Wings to transport the Airborne Division (Each Wing: 100 C-5B Galaxy, 200 C-17A Globemaster III, and 300 C-130J Hercules II), a Command & Control Squadron (AWACS & J-STARS), and 3 Wild Weasel Squadrons (Each Squadron: 25 F-16CJ "Wild Weasel" Fighting Falcons)
5000 Special Forces operators are to paradrop or scub dive in to denied territory. They will disrupt all enemy movements, provide reconaissance and other objectives that will be important.
3 MEFs were to be mobilized to the border or invade other territories.
The SHADOWNET that were already in Portugal, will disrupt all communications and conduct black ops.
Other Forces will be mobilized depending on the situation.
All the Forces are to quicky mobilized in 5 hours. The Border soldiers and beach defenders will the first line of defense until more forces arrive.
