Factbook of the Dictorial Republic of Sumer

Background - Breif
Created around 8,000 BCE by a now forgotten king of Uruk as a way to consolodate his power, the Nation of Sumer underwent several massive military expansions in it's first 7,000 years of opperation. By 1,000 BCE the expansion had reached epic size, conquering the entire middle east, and began to slow down as the people saw no more reason for conquering their neighbors. This military expansion died out completely by 1550 CE when influence of the Taino people, whom Sumerians had been trading with for approxemetly 200 years by now, accompanied by the victory over Spain at the beginning of the 1500's and the incorporation of the Taino "nation" into the newly formed Republic. The last major territorial expansion occuried durring the First World War, when Sumerian forces helping their Brittish, French and Russian allies swept into South Eastern Europe and took posession of the former nations of Austro-Hungary, Greece, and Yugoslavia as well as others. The decades that followed saw the systematic extermination of the indiginous peoples of the newly conqured areas by order of the then current Dictator, who was removed from office by the Republican Gaurd too late to save the masses affected from genocide.
Today Sumer maintains a small, but highly trained, well equipped, and exceptionally well funded armed force primarily for self defense. The nation itself has taken a less active stance in the international scene, concentrating more on domestic problems then international ones.

I actually found it to be very informative and helpful in my search for information on your nation. Obviously you've put a lot of work and research into this; it hasn't gone unwasted. I particularly liked the list of government officials.

Thanks. I'm glad it helped you out.

I added a trio of maps to the Geography section showing my nation's landmass. The one covering the Mid-East shows major cities. They're not divided into regions yet, my photoshoip skills are not there, yet.
