The Foreign Minister of Vintovia has asked for a public Apology from the Government of Rovonia, for the atrocious and unnessecary bombing of major cities that dtruck no military targets and killed 17 million innocent civillians.

The Foreign Minister of Vintovia has asked for a public Apology from the Government of Rovonia, for the atrocious and unnessecary bombing of major cities that dtruck no military targets and killed 17 million innocent civillians.We advise abandoning this claim. First, whatever the causes of the war, Rovonia struck Vintovia after Vintovian forces had invaded Rovonian soil. To be sure, Vintovian forces had retreated, and in that sense the attack may well have been unjustified - but in the absence of a formal peace treaty, and with Rovonia under attack by two other enemies, it could be argued that, however heinous, this was still a legitimate act of self-defence.
We believe that it is in the best interests of Vintovia to pursue a peace agreement with Rovonia, and this can best be served by refraining from demands for apologies, reparations, or anything equally controversial.

The Vintovian Foreign Minister Accepts this, but he does not understand why, military targets were not persued, instead of civilian ones. Vintovia had made every effort to avoid civillian casualties. It was barbaric to purposely go after cities and kill so many innocents.

For now, the question must go unanswered, because reconstruction should be our first goal.
