Evening Bump for

INTRODUCING OUR NEW TRIAL PROGRAM
We'll now fly out several of any aircraft to a perspective customer to let their pilots become used to the simulations, fly the actual aircraft, and have the ground crew learn about the maitenance of the aircraft. All that is needed is a request and 4 aircraft of this type and a Large transport carrying the maitenance stuff and Sims and quarters for the pilots will come along, normally a 2-3 week course(NS time), but can be longer if wished.

To Haaj-Fremmel Airworks -
Oddly enough, the Beltway Security Force does not yet use LADARs. As such, we wish to purchase 900 LADAR sets from your company to fit on our aircraft. Would this be possible? If so, how much will it cost? Thank you.
Sincerely,
Benjamin Cardin, Defence Minister of The Beltway

The People's Republic of Liberated New Ireland would like to order 100 F-12 Darts, and 40 A-15s.
Also, is there a way you could send personnel to train the first instructors of my fledgling air force?
Liberated New Ireland
12-04-2006, 03:47
The total cost of that order would be 2,960,000,000 dollars. Not counting any fees for the instructors.

Dear Sirs/ Misses/ Whomever applies,
We are glad to provide your nation's fledgeling airforce with the Requested Aircraft, the 40 A-15s, B version, and 100 F-12 Darts. There is no charge as to the training for both maitenance persons and Pilots, as we offer it to whatever customers may need it. Due to this Purchase costing your defense budget almost a third of it's allotment, We suggest a general payment plan, to pay the fee over 15 years, to help reduce the strain on your budget. The Yearly payment would be 197 Million dollars per year.

Heath L. Heller.

Dear Sirs/misses/ Whomever applies,

As having the LADAR normally included in our products, we normally don't sell "sets" of them. What we can do is either send you plans for the LADAR system (about 2 Billion for the plans), or help you to develop your own LADAR system, (about 2 billion due to paying the scientists to guide and teach yours), but if neither of these suits you, we can modify the aircraft you have with each LADAR system for roughly 2 Million Dollars, although it's not suggested, due to the necessity of wiring electronics and making of space, possibly changing the balance of the aircraft.

I think we have a deal. We'll take the payment plan, and hereby agree to pay 197 million dollars annually, for the next 15 years. We hope you can deliver the aircraft and instructors shortly, to Limerick Air Force Base, 2 miles East of our capital.

My Thanks,
Gen. Erin Kennedy

OOC:lol, I did... just gotta check the site, I'm pretty sure I added the range, if you want, I can add a full description of what LADAR does...
The Beltway
16-04-2006, 02:17
OOC - It would be useful for reference, but is not necessary. Fifty-mile range...
Maybe you could build a missile around it...
imported_Illior
16-04-2006, 02:21
OOC: Lol... LADAR is about as useful as radar, except it gives you a more comprehensive view of the area, but not really that useful in a missile. Stick with IR and radar guided missiles, as they are cheaper and just as effective...
The Beltway
16-04-2006, 02:24
OOC - Sorry, I meant a missile guided primarily by LADAR. Fifty miles seems like a decent range for a short/medium-ranged AAM, and we can always use new decent short/medium-ranged AAMs...
On another note, I assume that LADAR is the same as LIDAR, correct?
imported_Illior
16-04-2006, 02:32
OOC: WHoops... forgot to include LIDAR, although LIDAR really isn't a necessary thing, as Dopplar LIDAR is useful for mainly speed and direction, while LADAR is used to get a Comprehensive picture of the area around the aircraft.

On the Missile, LADAR isn't really a good missile guidance system except for a targeting system for an ATM...
