Alexi Feral approached the High Justice at the Coronation Alter in the Grand Hall. Reciting the proclomation of the emperor, the High Justice picked up the Imperial Crown and moved to place it on Feral's head. "In the name of the people...". Feral stepped up to the alter, as it was custom to kneel, but instead, he ripped the crown from the High Justice and placed it on his own head.
"We are a new nation, and I am the soverign. The power vested to the government by the people is mine and mine alone."
As the New Emperor began his majestic decent from the alter, there was suddenly a commotion in the crowd. Shots rang out and Feral fell to the ground. 'Death to all tyrants' yelled the gunaman, just before he was shot and killed by security personel. So ended the reign of Alexi Feral.

"In a stunning turn of events, New Dominion Emperor Alexi Feral was killed by a gunman at the Imperial coronation. Within a span of just hours, Alexi accended to power, took the throne, and was killed before he could even go to the Capitol building. Parliment has taken emergency power and appointed Romus Trakias to the position of President of the Dominion, the first president in our history. Emergency elections are being held for parliment and regional governors.
This coincides with the official nullification of the No Communist Left Alive Act, and the stand down between the communist and anti-communist forces on our soil. In addition, there is word that the communist rebellion in the southern region is coming to an end, though fighting continues. President Trakais has declared marshall law and it is reported that the military is being deployed throughout the country. What the future holds for our small nation is unknown..."
