Snake Eaters

It has been decided that the lists and specifications of many of Snake Eaters ships are to be revealed, so as to aid in ship identification by other nations
OOC: Read: I have something to refer to in RP's if you don't believe me
All Snake Eater ships are built using a framework of titanium, with adamantium including on the higher-level military ships for additional structural strength. All ships are equipped with at least Class-7 Coaxial warp drives, which allow them to travel distances much faster than convential warp FTL drives. They all have at least a simple navigational deflector.
Civil Starships
Arrowhead class
Image:http://photobucket.com/albums/a6/SnakeEaters/Civilian%20ships/?action=view¤t=Passenger.jpg
Type: Passenger
Length: 100 metres
Beam: 30 metres
Height: 30 metres
Mass: 90,000 tonnes
Armaments: x1 Type I Pulse cannon turret
Defences: Class I-C shields (basic, civil)
Crew: 4 main, 15 stewards
Maximum Limit: 500 passengers
This class of ship was designed to be the primary passenger-carrying ship in Snake Eaters. Its small maximum limit is compensated by the frequency of the trips conducted by Snake Airlines, which runs the business, with ships leaving dock roughly every half hour
Monolith class
Image: http://photobucket.com/albums/a6/SnakeEaters/Civilian%20ships/?action=view¤t=Cargo.jpg
Type: Cargo
Length: 150 metres
Beam: 35m
Height: 20m
Mass: 105,000 tonnes
Armaments: x2 Type II Pulse Cannon turrets
Defences: Class II-C shields (light, civil)
Crew: 5
Maximum Cargo: 75,000 tonnes
The Monolith was the first cargo ship released into the civil market by the shipyards of Tiravano. It was designed to be a very sleek design, limiting the target area for pirate raiders that occasionally target these ships. In times of war, they can be used for transporting military supplies, for which the government pays the owners
Valkyrie class
Image: http://photobucket.com/albums/a6/SnakeEaters/Civilian%20ships/?action=view¤t=Cargoship2.jpg
Type: Cargo
Length: 100 metres
Beam: 75 metres
Height: 50 metres
Mass: 375,000 tonnes
Armaments: None
Defences: Class IV-C shields (heavy, civil)
Crew: 10
Maximum cargo: 300,000 tonnes
The Valkyrie line of cargo ships was released prior to the legislation in Snake Eaters permitting civilian ships to carry weapons. Thus, it was given extremely heavy shields to compensate for its lack of offensive weaponry.
Goliath class
Image: http://photobucket.com/albums/a6/SnakeEaters/Civilian%20ships/?action=view¤t=Goliath.jpg
Class: Escort
Length: 100m
Beam: 30m
Height: 45m
Mass: 135,000 tonnes
Armaments: x2 broadside torpedo launchers (x6 tubes per launcher), x2 Type II Pulse Cannon turrets (one is obscured on the far side)
Defences: Class III - C shields (medium, civil)
Crew: 50
The Goliath class was commissioned due to rising demand for escorts on civil trade routes. Whilst lacking the resources to dedicate military vessels to such an action, the Assembly allowed for the construction of these ships, which were then sold to civilians. They pack a fairly heavy punch for ships of their class, given the speed with which they were commissioned
Space Stations and Artificial Orbital Bodies
Vulcan-type
Image: http://photobucket.com/albums/a6/SnakeEaters/Space%20Stations/?action=view¤t=Orbitalweapons.jpg
Type: Orbital weapons platform
Length: 45m
Beam: 10 m
Height: 20m
Mass: 9000 tonnes
Armaments: x3 Heavy Pulse Cannons, x2 torpedo launch tubes (stock of 500 Quantum Torpedoes onboard)
Defences: Class III shields (medium, military)
Crew: Single A.I.
These platforms are put into place in order to provide a defence network around strategically important planets in the Snake Eater Empire. The A.I is capable of identifying separate targets to its fellows, but they can also communicate via low-power broadband networks in order to concentrate their fire. The sensors scan an incoming ship, and if it is transmitting a valid ID signal, it is allowed to pass.
Gamma-type
Image: http://photobucket.com/albums/a6/SnakeEaters/Space%20Stations/?action=view¤t=sb99-planet.jpg
Type: Commercial
Diameter: 250 metres
Height: 100 metres
Mass: 25,000,000 tonnes
Armaments: x 6 Type IV Pulse Cannons, x6 torpedo batteries (x6 tubes per battery)
Defences: Type III-C shields (Medium, civil)
Crew: 450
These stations, placed in orbit around all Snake Eater planets, are designed as waypoints for the Arrowhead-class transports. It is here that personnel and passengers embark and disembark from their flights, and are then transported down to the service via shuttlecraft or transporters. The reasonably heavy weapons systems allow them to also serve defence platforms in times of war. They can all take seven Arrowhead ships at a time, resulting in a maximum population of almost 4000 people.
Wayward type
Image: http://photobucket.com/albums/a6/SnakeEaters/Space%20Stations/?action=view¤t=Wayward.jpg
Type: System Defence, Trade
Diameter: 2500 metres
Height: 300 metres
Mass: 300,000,000 tonnes
Armaments: x80 Type IV Pulse Cannons, x50 torpedo batteries, x20 Type XII Phaser Arrays.
Defences: Type III shields (medium, military)
Crew: 700
These stations are designed not only as trade stations, but also as the first line of defence in-system in case of enemy invasion. They are equipped with military grade phasers and pulse cannons, allowing them to engage all but the largest capital ships with some success. They do make a safe haven for all forms of trade however, as they do not rely on computers to identify the incoming ships. There is capacity for a maximum of 14 ships (8 on the outer ring, 3 on the upper pylons, 3 on the lower)
Phoenix type
Image: http://photobucket.com/albums/a6/SnakeEaters/Space%20Stations/?action=view¤t=Phoenix.jpg
Type: Military Dock
Diameter: 4000 metres
Height: 3000 metres
Mass: 1,120,500,000 tonnes
Armaments: x70 Type XII Phaser Arrays
Defences: Type IV shields (heavy, military)
Crew: 10,000
These stations are much more rare than any other types, but they make up for this by being huge constructs, capable of holding a range of starships within their hulls. These constructs are run by the military, but can offer refuge to civilian ships in times of dire emergency. They are capable of repairing and upgrading ships, but this can only occur if the proper authorisation is present
