The Adaptes Astartes has given GS permission to manufacture it's own version of Space Marine Power Armor and it has taken great pains in reproducing it.
The armor is made from Adamant, imported from Terra VII itself.
The plates of the suit are 10' thick and deflect all small arms fire.
The joints are made from 3' thick rubber and sealed against all outside intrusions, such as poison gas. The helmet contains LCD HUD and a rebreather filter, as well as several vision modes and a communcation piece.
The suit, when occupied, gives the occupant extra strength through the armors, "Synth Muscle System", which is possible through wiring and hydraulics. A soldier wearing this armor is capable of crushing an unarmored man's skull through the armor's system, and is virtually a walking tank.
The inside however is lined with silk cushioning for falling and is cooled by an internal unit. The Armor switches between a kinetic, solar, and a conventional battery which alternates depending on combat, time of day, and storage.
