(OOC: to join check out the OOC thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=430789&page=1) )

on this land there is water reaching every horizon and going on till as far as the eye can see, you find yourself in charge of three ships, and somthing inside you tells you that you are here to fight, and fight you will...

(OOC: this is an introduction to the basic area that everyone is fighting in, there is no land so no need to worry about that, and remember just because it's every man for themself doesn't mean that a pact isn't out of the question)

The three ships of the Dominion were ready, the two battleships were in formation, and the DE with them was in position to react to any threat, and the captain had a feeling that there was a threat out there somewhere.

Cpt. Powell, standing in the control room of the ZRN Bergelmir, received a coded message indicating that they had entered the combat zone. The Bergelmir was one of three ships, the ZRN Hymir, a Ticonderoga class cruise, the ZRN Garm, an Arleigh Burke class destroyer, and the Bergelmir, a Los Angeles class nuclear submarine.

"Take us to 200 feet and make turns for 20 knots," ordered the captain, "Lets see if we can sink somthing before we head home."
---------------------
"Stand by to recover aircraft!" shouted Cpt. Rogers of the Hymir. The blades of one of the ships two SH-60s sliced through the cold morning air as it slowly decended to the swaying deck. The Seahawk had been deployed three hours previous when the task group entered the combat area, tasked with searching the immediate area for hostile subsurface forces.

Minutes later Lt. John Williams, the pilot of the SH-60 stepped on to the bridge.

"Anything to report?" asked Cpt. Rogers.

"Not much, other than that damned radio malfunction," muttered Lt. Williams, "Although we saw what may have been sillouettes of ships on the horizon at the far end of our search pattern," the Liutenant pointed at a map, "Here. No submarines we could find, although with that radio malfunctioning, and some of the radar systems acting up, who knows what else might be going on on that bird, and what might have slipped past us."

Commodore Aramil stood on the bridge of the ICS Gondolar, gazing out over the medium carrier's deck to the infinite horizon. The ICS Jeriath an AEGIS Missile Cruiser, cruised alongside, while the ICS Helecar, a destroyer, sailed slightly ahead. So far, no enemies had been sighted, but the commodore was sure that would change soon enough, and so had the planes feuled and ready for take off, and the guns loaded, just in case.

"We've been here for almost twenty hours, and all we have so far is what might have been a sillouete on the horizon," said Cpt. Rogers, staring at a map of the area, "We should have seen somthing by now..."

"Sir!" interrupted a young crewman, "We have new contacts, bearing zero-four-two and zero-four-three. Designating targets Romeo-1 and Romeo-2."
