The Imperial Senate approved the Emperor's budget by a 6 to 1 ratio in favor. Several Senators were absent, but more than enough were present to make the approval official. The new budget calls for lowered trade with socialist and communist nations and increased spending on military and law enforcement endeavors.

"We will not suffer any trade with communist nations, which seek to destroy our means of life. Socialism and communism are and will always be blights on humanity. Any nation that allows socialism to fester in its borders will have no trade or assistance from us." said Grand General Daniel Reck.

The primary increase in the budget will go toward the building of newer automated patrol craft, which will enable automatic search and capture/destroy missions on enemy targets existing within the Imperium. The craft have been designated "Hunter Killers" or "HKs" by several supporters of the project.

"This is a great day for law enforcement, these units will enable the Imperial government, law enforcement agencies and intelligence officials to maintain an clear advantage over those who would attempt to harm our great nation." said Senator Jericho DeVille, head of the Military Finance Commission.

"Let this stand as a warning to any enemy of the Imperium, if you attempt to perform an act of terrorism within our borders, to our people... you will be found and killed, one way or another." said Emperor Erik Kersk.

Production is to start as soon as a test model is complete. Official technical information has not been made available to the public, but the Imperial government has released the following picture.

Additional subjects that were tackled included the remnants of the pre-imperial phase of the government. Several budget sections were destroyed and restructured to allow for a smoother government and to save money for other projects. The position of "UN Delegate" has been an abandoned post for several years now, but the budget still maintained a salary for the position.

Senator salaries were also established, since the Senate was only recently reestablished, the salaries are on par with those of the former Senate. In addition a Senate budget was established, allowing for the Senate to operate without borrowing from the Emperor's emergency funds.
