Green Sun drug smuggling

Green Sun

It has come to the attention of many policemen in Green Sun that thousands of Green Sun citizens have become victims of highly hallucianative drugs. Green Sun has an extremely firm anti-drug stance. We have instated the death penalty for any dealer who has been identified as the salesman to someone who has overdosed using the same drug they sold to the poor soul. Green Sun police has some of its best men on the case of identifying the dealers and bringing them to justice.
Common drugs found:

Heroin: $5 for one hit. Poppies are grown in Green Sun for making morphine for our soldiers, so that's why Heroin has such a cheap price.

Psycho: $25 for a hit, about $20 for the needle. Psycho was a drug created by an unknown government as a booster for combat capabilities. The ingredients used are unknown. Users that are under its influence should be apprehended by the police. Psycho needles double for Heroin and many other injected drugs.

Jet: $50 for a large hit, $5 for the inhaler. Jet is incredibly addictive; the first use is almost a guaranteed addiction. Jet speeds up the brain and the muscles, allowing a person to think faster and move faster, but not better. After the effect has worn off, a short and incredibly painful withdrawal follows, which often leads to death in weaker users or long-time users. After the withdrawal is complete, the user experiences weak brain and body motion and an extreme craving for more of the drug.

Shallow: The price of a hit is unknown, as many of the users can't remember a thing from up to three to the point of taking the drug; so many users can't remember even buying the drug or sometimes their own names. Shallow is addictive, but no physical signs are shown. Police have yet to find a sample of Shallow to test it. Shallow is odorless and tasteless. The user loses all of their motor capabilities for up to twenty four hours. They experience many hallucinations and a total peaceful state of mind. When we have studied Shallow more closely, it is possible that Green Sun may consider using it as a painkiller. Unlike the other three common drugs found in the streets, Shallow does not seem to be fatal.

All ships in Green Sun bay are being searched for any unauthorized imported (Or exported) material more closely. All cargo being border will be searched by specially-trained canines. Cruise ships will be forced to perform random and close searches on cargo and passengers while bording to and from Green Sun, with specially-trained canines there to smell the air for any trace of the drugs. It will be difficult to find stashes of Shallow, as it is odorless. Random searches of vehicles coming in from our borders will also be performed. Our airline security will only be increased by the canine searches of cargo.
((If you wish to be involved feel free to take responsibility, agree to help, or form a problem with these drugs yourself, this is an open RP.))

OOC: Meh, I meant the series. I haven't actually played Fallout, only Fallout 2 but I assume that the drugs are still there. Do you always think of people getting gunned down when you hear the song 'A kiss to build a dream on'?

OOC: I actually beat FO and am at the Enclave right now in FO2. And no, I think of how awesome of a song that is.

OOC: At the Enclave, be sure to have some save at the start. Once I finished the game, and then realized that I hadn't saved Arroyo or something. I couldn't go back and it sucked. Oh, and watch all the credits to the end, it gives out an Easter Egg if you do that will let you complete all the quests you haven't yet.

Maybe in a little bit, a bit busy in other parts of the world right now. However talking about Fallout 2 is a good way to bump a thread without bumping it.

While we have few problems with narcotics ourselves, we would be more than happy to aid in your efforts. We have a few devices that might be beneficial as they are designed for searching out specific substances.

The Empire also has a very strong anti-drug policy, with stiff penalties for anyone found to be dealing or trafficking illegal substances and substantial punishments for users. While we cannot think of any way to aid your nation in combatting the drug trade on your own soil, we will be certain to do our part in containing the smuggling of the narcotic substances listed above by stiffening port and airline security. We will be sure to inform your government of anything we find that may aid you in fighting the problem at home.

Aboard the Avis Class destroyer RMV Stryker the crewmembers are up to the usual.

Boarding ships carrying suspected contraband from Saharistan, tracking unknown submarines, and training new security, SEAL, and flight personnel were at the top of the ops list.

"Sir, we've been out for 5 months, why don't we stir up some excitment that won't get us all killed?"

The Captain was young, and this was his first deployment since the old CO had left for the Republican Starfleet.

"Sure, whose water's are we closest to?" the Captain said while looking out into the sandy air.

"Green Sun, sir, they've been boarding ships in their harbors, we don't know why, but it could be a good training run for our teams before we go back to port."

The Captain was referring to the 3 boarding teams and 2 SEAL's Squads he had available.

The Captain also had 3 vertical launch platforms available in the trio of K14's that could be put in the air to challenge any encroaching air assets, along with the Adams Class attack Helicopter and his pair of Blackhawk helicopters.

"Sure, go to covert condition red and have the crew get off the deck. Take us into their port as close as we can get and when they approach or message us take all the stealth procedures offline and let them know we're not hostile as soon as possible."

(OOC: Just give me something to do, we can have a firefight between my security guys and some drug dealers or a K14 vs. a Cargo ship or something.)

OOC: If you send in military forces, Green Sun will send in the Forge Force to aprehend them.
IC:
"This is Green Harbor Port COntrol. You have been spotted close to our waters, are you in need of refueling from your mission, Captain? We can see from here that you're a Military vessel. Green Sun will welcome you while your ship is refueled and refit," a voice addressed them on all frequencies.
