After their defeat by the collation of the Ascendants and the betrayal of Deatharon and Neo Zeta the Dark Eternals had once again sent out a call to muster and gather all the enemies of the Ascendants. In return for joining the already mighty Dark Eternal host they would be granted great amounts of star systems, knowledge, great technologies, and untold amounts of wealth. The purpose of this was to amass all who hated the Ascendants and in their joint purpose the Dark Eternals host and other who attached themselves to it would wage a war that would ultimately destroy the Ascendants and all of their allies.

In the earlier the Dark Eternals had pushed back the Ascendants and Gaians back to their very their home planet. They had even successfully assailed it and it seemed to the Ascendants that they would be destroyed and the Dark Eternals would enslave them, but then came many Ascendant allies that came and reinforce them even with them the day would have still belonged to the Dark Eternals if not the Eternals, their kin, had come. The Eternals had beaten them back and forced one of the sons of the emperor who had taken command of the Dark Eternal armada and brought them before the Eldest One of the Eternal race and their he had done homage to him and he begged for pardon at his feet.

But, this would change when the Dark Eternals and their renewed host with their allies came...

The Band of Seven made note of the Gaians. Their master had told them that The Gaians would be tricky but only a few in their nation could hope to stand up to The Band of Seven.
