Things were busy down in the Main HQ. The reorginization of Warta Endor's military was just finished and already there were some elaborate plans. Emperor Singeria had already speculated about an attack on New Zealand. He wanted to unite the entire Pacific in one big federation/empire/alliance. Before Warta Endor could archieve such a thing they first had to establish a firm base in the South Pacific. Australia was secure but New Zealand would have to be invaded. The military of Warta Endor was excellent and well equiped. In the war room several Generals, Admirals and other high officers had gathered. They waited for the emperor to arrive. Suddenly, the door flew open and the Emperor walked in. He was dressed in his fine Marine Uniform which fitted perfectly on his young body. He gestured to the officers to sit down and sat down himslef. He then began to speak.

"Gentlemen! I've summoned you here to talk about Operation Grand Bazaar. If you open your files you'll see several documents and maps. Take the first document and map for you and I'll begin. We have now pacified Maunland Australia and orginized in a well functioning and a perfectly gouverned Nation. To further reinforce our base in the the South pacific controle of New Zealand is a must!!! I've therefore, with the help of certain aides, made a plan for the invasion of New Zealand. On the first map, which you have in front of you, you can see the First Phase of the Operation. Three simultanious landings will be held on Northern Island. One near Auckland, one in the Bay of Plenty and one in the Cook Straight. Before we can invade several things must be archieved:
-Total Air Dominance over New Zealand
-The destruction of New Zealand Air and Naval forces and if possible Land Forces
-Isolation of New Zealand from the rest of the world. Install a bloccade, jam communications, cut wires, etc.
For the Invasion The First and Second Marines will be used. Once they've secured the beachhead elements of the First Army will be brought ashore.
Once North Island is secure South Island and Stewart Island are next. Also here there will be three invasion. One near Nelson, one near Christchurch and a smaller one on Stewart Island. The forces here used will be the third and Fourth Marines and a regiment from the Fifth for the Stewart Operation. The remainder of the First Army will be used on South Island as well. Any questions?"

The meeting went on for another few hours. The Emperor left happily. They had made an almost perfect plan. New Zealand will soon fall under his rule. He had just one problem: the military forces were filled up to the bone. This meant that for the occupation some units would have to be transfered permenantly from Asutralia to New Zealand. That wouldn't be a big problem actually...

The preparations had begun. Ammunition, spare parts, rations etc. were gathered and specialized training began. High Altitude Recon missions were being flown by U2 and SR 71 planes. The Emperor was actively involved in the Operation, viewing preparations and trials. It wasn’t actually a secret that the Emperor himself was even more interested in the Military. Warta Endor’s propaganda machine was running full time with pictures taken from the Emperor while he stands on the bridge of a battleship or carrier, short movies made of the Emperor while he talks with fighter pilots or tries the assault course himself. Moral was excellent in the armed forces and everyone was eager to go, the Emperor most of all.

Emperor Singeria:”Well, I want to go in with the first wave. I’m a marine and I’ll land together with the marines!”
General MacIntosh: “But Sire the risk to great. You have no heir and if you get killed the country would erupt in civil war! We can’t risk that!”
Emperor Singeria:”I insist that I’m actively involved in the landings! I’ll not stay in my
Palace and wait for reports coming in!”
Admiral Safrinski:”Sire, you could stay with me on my flagship Coral Sea[I]. We have adequate facilities there, it’s close enough to the battlefield and most important: it’s safe.”
General MacIntosh:”That would be better but still it’s risky. But the Emperor may do what he wants…”
Emperor Singeria:”Allright Admiral, I’ll stay with you on the Coral Sea, but once a beachhead is secured I want to go ashore!”
General MacIntosh:”We’ll see…”

Suddenly an aide came running in.

Aide:”Sire! We have a message from New Zealand!”

To Warta Endor,

If you do not stop the violation of our airspace immediately we will open fire upon the planes and will declare war upon you. We do not tolerate spy missions over our airspace.

General Tunner

Admiral Safrinski:”Haha! This is an excellent reason to go to war! If we send in a passenger plane at the same time as a U2 or SR 71 flight, they might shoot down the wrong one! A clear act of aggression!”
Emperor Singeria:”Great plan admiral! Plan for another flight, my dear friend. (ooc. Against Air Marshall Dunghead, who hasn’t said anything yet)”
Air Marshall Dunghead:”All right, your majesty. I will do that.”
Emperor Singeria:”Right then, meeting’s closed.”

Two hours later, a SR 71 and a passenger plane bound for Wellington took off at the same time. The SR 71 flew directly above the passenger plane and they headed for New Zealand…

The two planes neared New Zealand’s airspace. The crew of the passenger plane was unaware of what was about to happen and the SR 71 pilot was very nervous. Even though he was a perfect flyer, having flown many missions and knowing every inch of his aircraft he was nervous. To prevent the passenger plane from contacting New Zealand they had sabotaged the communication systems. Once the pilot of the SR 71 thought the time had come he would finish off the communications. Meanwhile New Zealand Defense Force planes took off and went on an intercept course. They hailed the spy plane who didn’t reacted but switched a few buttons and the communications of the passenger plane were disabled.

NZDF plane: “We repeat, identify yourself or risk being shot down. You have one minute…*switching frequencies*… Patrol Gamma One, we have hailed the bogey twice, no reaction. Permission to declare plane as hostile and open fire?”
Fighter control room: “This is downtown, permission granted, open fire once in our airspace. I repeat, open fire once in our airspace.”
NZDF plane: “Copy that…*switches frequencies again*…You heard it boys, open fire once in our airspace. Plane is 2 minutes from violating airspace.”
Other NZDF plane: “Shouldn’t we first get a visual?”
NZDF plane: “No way, shoot without visual. These are dangerous bastards!”

The SR 71 (being a spy plane and able to intercept communications) had heard the conversations and prepared to break formation with the passenger plane. He had to do something risky, but if he didn’t do it, the chance of being shot down was too great. He would switch of his engines to reduce heat even more and minimize the risk of being hit by infra red missiles.

NZDF plane: ”Hostile entering airspace, opening fire!’

”Shit! He thought, ”those bastards are touchy!” He reached for the throttle and lowered it until the engines were off. Meanwhile he made a sharp U-turn and dived to maintain speed and get the hell outta there! The passenger plane still hadn’t a clue until the co pilot saw a white stripe coming straight towards them.

Co pilot: “What the he…”
BAOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
Pilot: ”WHAT THE F*CK WAS THAT! SHIT! Our right wing is blown off!”

Meanwhile the pilot, who couldn’t help it but was grinning, enabled the communications once again. Just in time…

Pilot: “Mayday, mayday, mayday! This is flight 0346, unknown blast has blown off the entire right wing, we’re losing altitude fast and…GOD DAM…”

The plane crashed into the sea with a big splash. Meanwhile the SR 71 was about 110 kilometers away. The plane was well out of New Zealand airspace and about 15 meters above the sea. The pilot waited for five more minutes to gain even more distance and then turned the engine on full, with the afterburner on. Once he had enough speed he climbed to regular height, about to twenty kilometers. Half an hour later he landed and debriefed… Mission successful!

ooc. I probably made a lot of mistakes and wrote things which cannot be done RL, such as a gliding SR 71 (this is the thing I most doubt. It has fairly large delta wings, but if it can glide for a reasonable distance?) and some other things. I hope no one really makes it a big problem, I’m just an innocent RPer :P.

From His Imperial majesty Emperor Singeria.

I’m currently to emotional to speak to you directly. The news that a passenger plane was brutally shot down by New Zealand’s forces shocked me and my family. I would like to offer our sympathies to the families of the victims.

You can imagine that such a deliberate attack upon a civilian plane will not remain unanswered. As I write this Warta Endorean Naval Forces will begin a complete blockade of New Zealand. No ship can come in or out. Also aerial transport will be impossible. All New Zealand businesses, properties etc. will be seized. New Zealand Citizens will be hold in special camps in Central Australia.

We hope you’ll understand our actions and support us against New Zealand.

The Emperor, Singeria I

Military HQ was busy as hell while the final preparations were being concluded. The Marines of the first wave would embark tomorrow evening after dark. Bombardments would begin at nightfall, which is three hours from now. B2 bombers will soften air defenses and hit key targets with precise ammunition. Following the B2’s would be the B300’s who will carpet bomb Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch with High Explosives and Fire bombs. Once the first devastating attacks would be over only JDAM and cruise missile attacks will be ordered. Special trained naval divers will enter New Zealand naval bases and sabotage installations and ships.
