The Naval Department today announced that both of the USIH Navy’s Doujin Class SuperDreadnoughts have been sold to The Ottoman Sultanate of Ottoman Sultan for an undisclosed fee.

The two ships IHS Doujin and Louise D Armstrong are currently tied alongside the specially built pier at Gillen Naval Base. They are thought to have been sold due to the navy’s switch to newer faster supercarriers, whilst the newer Aasimar Class Battleships, and the single Dadelous Class Super Dreadnough remain in service for the foreseeable future.

The crews of the ships are said to be disappointed but morale is still high, they are expected to be granted shore leave before beginning retraining for service in other vessels that are coming into the navy.

Meanwhile the two ships will be stripped of the advanced radar systems that the navy incorperated into them when they were first commissioned, and then they will be taken by a Skelton crew to their new home.

The Secretary of the Navy has declined to comment on the sale, but a spokesperson said that “the Doujin’s were simply not cost-effective in the new structure of the navy that will be emerging over the coming years”.
