5,000 Spec Ops forces quietly seized the De Las Perlas Archipelago on the night of the invasion of Panama.
The 300 F 35's from the battle islands and the 80 aircraft of the first fleet took off from their respective carriers.
Within minutes they were over Panama, attacking air radar stations, air fields, government buildings in Panama city, and attacking the harbor.
The attack was preceded by a series of sea based Tomahawk Cruise missiles carrying EMP warheads to fry the circuits of all electronic equipment.
The EMP was followed by conventional cruise missiles which were followed by air attack.
The people of Panama hardly knew what had hit them.
The ships and aircraft continued to blow the crap out of everything on the ground in Panama and neighboring Colon province.
Out of Los Angeles, the UPR declared that the Panama canal was formally closed to all traffic. All ships trying to get through would be attacked and sunk.
